Lone Wolf looks to see if everyone is ready to investigate, and if so, descends by the light of the magic orbs.

Once everyone else has entered the tunnel, Theodorre looks about sharply and enteres the tunnel.

Alyana is a little uneasy. Are you sure you want to go inside this tunnel, dug by a creature with large claws? Are we suicidal today? Don't you want to check other areas first?
As the rest the heroes do not share her concerns, she reluctantly enters the tunnel.

Lone Wolf shrugs at Alyana's comment. "Suicidal? or brave? or confident? It depends on how easy it will be to defeat the enemy..."

With the light of Theodorre's magically created orbs to illuminate their path, the heroes bravely enter the tunnel. Seeing that everyone is ready, Lone Wolf leads the way. The entrance to the tunnel is narrow and the Barbarian has to crawl on his hands and knees, squeezing his shoulders into the narrow entrance. Alyana is nervous about what kind of creature made the tunnel, but seeing Lone Wolf enter the tunnel, she follows. Taliea, knowing that Alyana often needs reassurance, follows behind her, "I've got your back, sister." Theodorre waits for Avantiif to enter the tunnel and takes one last cursory look around. Seeing nothing and no-one he is last to crawl into the tunnel.
By the time Theodorre has entered, Lone Wolf is far enough down the tunnel that he is already able to almost completely stand up.
The only source of light you have is the dancing lights, there is no source of light in the tunnel itself.
The tunnel continues on and down for a short time until it opens wide enough for everyone to walk upright. It's just wide enough for two people to walk side-by-side it then retains its width and height and continues horizontally, no longer going deeper into the earth.
With the aid of the dancing lights you can see that up ahead the tunnel makes a sudden and sharp turn to the left.

The poor storyteller comes along, bent, touching the floor ahead of himself with his staff, ensuring it is safe.

Alyana walks next to Taliea, getting confort and strength from knowing the other elven woman is by her side.
She walks a little hesitantly, worried about the dangers ahead. She whispers to Taliea "I really do not like underground and tunnel. I am not a druid but I like to be able to see the sun and nature might better than crawling underground.

Summary of the story so-far, for those who wish to remind themselves:
The heroes were on the road when they met a group of travellers lead by "Papa" Lazarou and his wife Davina. The group were looking for a place to settle to start a new life. They'd heard of a nearby town called Haverbrook. Unfortunately the previous residents disappeared some time ago in an unexplained incident and you've been asked to investigate and find out if the area is now safe or not. Papa Lazarou offered you horses and trade goods in exchange for your trouble. Having reached Haverbrook, you've found it is still empty. Examining the mayor's office in the town hall, you found a trap door which you subsequently entered. The walls appear to have been dug out by a creature or creature with large claws.
Marching order: Lone Wolf, Alyana, Taliea, Avantiif, Theodorre
I stated you can see a sharp left turn ahead, I'm going to assume you continue on down the tunnel (instead of just standing around) even though no-one has actually expressed that.
With the aid of the dancing lights you can see that up ahead the tunnel makes a sudden and sharp turn to the left.
Lone Wolf leads the way, Alyana huddling close behind him. Perhaps a little closer than strictly necessary. Taliea is next in line so she can reassure Alyana should the need arise. Avantiif follows with Theodorre bringing up the rear.
No-one in the party indicates that Lone Wolf should stop at the sharp bend, so he continues, the orb of light illuminating the path ahead of him.
As you each round the bend you notice the surroundings continue to look the same - walls dug out from the dirt, no sources of light or any form of light. The tunnel continues to run horizontally; it does not go deeper now.
Lone Wolf continues to creep forward, eventually he informs you (in hushed tones) that he has reached a T-juction and the tunnel now divides left and right ahead of him.

Lone Wolf asks that the dancing lights be brought to the end of the tunnel so he could see down both ways that the group faces. If he can see both ways, and nothing exceptional in either direction, Lone Wolf will proceed the the right.

Lone Wolf, still in the lead, approaches the junction. He looks carefully to the left and to the right, but the two paths are indistinguishable from one another, and indeed from the one you've just come from, even with the aid of the magical light. Lone Wolf's gut instinct tells him to head to right, but just as he's about to continue, something catches the attention of the adventurers.
Theodorre detects a fluttering above his head as do each of the party members in turn as a small black creature comes hurtling over their heads from behind. It reaches the junction just ahead of Lone Wolf and you can see it's a bat. It flies around at the intersection apparently studying the paths ahead as your own Barbarian just did, as if deciding where to go next. It's also obviously aware of the party and if you didn't know better you'd think it may be casting glances at you too.

The large dark figure drops to the ground, but as it does so, the long spindly fingers shrink and get thicker as the wing membrane recedes, the body elongates and the arms recede a little and grow thicker, the legs grow longer and the clawed feet transform into what appears to be booted feet, and the head grows and tranforms into a human head, so by the time the figure makes it to the ground, there is a man crouched with a cascade of black straight hair hanging from a humanoid head. The man appears to be garbed in dragonscales and a quarterstaff and fine scimitar strapped to his back. He lifts his head and as some of the black mane falls away from the face you see a pair of red eyes staring at you.
He stands and looks at the group assembled before him then looks around and says Where are we? We've been wandering down here looking for something to eat and drink and in our hunger have been getting confused in our directions.
He makes a high pitched noise like a chirp and another large bat flys up from behind and lands on the floor next to the man with his massive 15 foot wingspan sprawled out on the floor to steady his small clawed feet.

Avantiif gives a warm, friendly smile that seems to reflect all kindness he has seen in his years at once. He greets with,
We're under Haverbrook, my friend. We're here with aid we look to lend.

The man blinks his red eyes then a grin spreads across his face and he says A man who speak in rhymes, so lucky of us to find in these times. Then the grin fades and he says Fair master of rhymes, do you have a but morsel of something to eat and a small portion of water? We are terribly hungry, thirsty, and very much lost.
