After taking cover and having washed the worst of the acid off, Ryxikor drops the waterskin and scoops up his short bow. As he draws an arrow, the elf attempts to hide, to get a better shot off next time.
OOC: Hmm, last post I wrote he ducks behind the sarcoghagus, but I forgot to write it in my move action, d*mn

Initiative: Enemies, (action stopped here) Stadvas, Odlin, Augustine, Ryxikor, Miriam Round 5 continues Stadvas, aided by Odlin swings the swing with extreme power. The massive ball of metal mounted with spike goes crushing against the hobgoblin head with a loud noise. Jeerod stops moving, looks at Stadvas and blood come pouring out of his eyes. Without a word, the fighter falls to ground, dead as dead can be. Odlin stays where he is, waiting for Stadvas to move before he can help him. The wizard does not want to get into the fighter’s way Augustine tries to hide behind a sarcophagi but fails. He unleashes two arrows which break against the sarcophagi in front of Xeron. Ryxikor pulls out his bow and get ready to shoot. He tries to hide but fails as miserably as Augustine. The group hears Miriam voice screaming from the stairs. “ Hold on guys, I will be back to heal you. And Xeron, you will pay for what you did to me!” Round 6 Starts Xeron looks mad that his accomplice is dead. He mutters a few more arcane words and energy darts flies out of his hands and hit Stadvas. The warrior is hit hard but his disabled. Xeron looks madder “ What will it take me to kill you?”
Stadvas: -10HP damages – Currently at -4/35
OOC: Ilya, please note that he gets the opportunity, Xeron will attack Stadvas again because he is down unconscious and bleeding (side effect of die hard) and he will easily put him at -10. Just to let you know.

Augustine looks at Stadvas and sees how much blood he is losing. "Get back," he says to Stadvas, "Heal yourself. I'll cover you."Augustine abandons his position behind the sarcophagus and moves up, drawing his sword. He slashes at the cleric, daring him to try to cast a spell while he is in reach. He notices Jeerod's axe on the floor, and gets a glint in his eye.
free action: Speak before Stadvas' action (says it can be done even when it isn't your turn). Move action: move to G3, drawing sword Standard action: Attack Xeron with longsword attack roll: 1d20+6=17damage: 1d8+2 You mentioned Xeron has a spear, right? Does it look like the kind that would have reach, or is it a normal spear?

Stadvas moves back, reaching for his last potion and drinking that as well. His attempt to thank Augustine is reduced to a grunt. The potion is just barely enough to remove the lethal wounds, and Xeron's next attack may be the last he will ever see.
Potion of CLW: 1d8 HP -4+4=0/35 AC 23
My decision to not run for cover might prove to be fatal. And I'm fully aware of the dangers of Diehard, Achinca, but thanks for the warning.
Edit 5-ft step to G5, which provides me with soft cover from Augustine.

Initiative: Enemies, (action stopped here) Stadvas, Odlin, Augustine, Ryxikor, Miriam Round 6 continues Stadvas steps 5 feet and drink his last health potion. He regain a little bit of health but still feels disabled. Odlin puts himself between him and Xeron and tries to distract the man but fails to do so. Augustine moves next to Xeron and engages him but fails to connect with his sword. Ryxikor fires an arrow. It would have hit Xeron if he was not partially hiding behind a sarcophagus. Ryxikor moves forward, getting ready t engage Xeron. Miriam’s voice can be heard, swearing profanities at Xeron. If Stadvas had not loss so much blood, his ears would turns red. Who knew that the sweet cleric could use such a language? Round 6 Ends – Round 7 Starts Xeron steps back and formulate another arcane spell. Another acid arrow appears and hit the ranger. As when it hit Ryxikor, the effect will last next round too. Agustine: -4HP of damages – Currently at 16/20

Augustine grins, drops his sword and bow in the space Xeron vacated, grabs the greataxe from Jeerod's corpse, steps forward, and swings. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a perfect grip on it, and it goes wide.
drop weapons in G2 (free), pick up Jeerod's weapon from F3 (move), step to G2 (free), attack with greataxe (standard) Attack: 1d20+5=10 + whatever the axe gives If anything in that round isn't allowed, he would just step forward and attack with his sword. If he provokes an AoO (failed concentration check to cast a spell, tries to move away), take it with this roll: 1d20+5=24 + axe Gee, wish I had that for the normal attack. Damage would be 1d12+3+?, whatever bonus the axe gives. Figure it is probably at least as good as masterwork, considering who was carrying it.

The elf moves closer to the melee, but with no room has to wait his turn. He fingers his weapons hilts in anticipation. He squats down behind the sarcophigus, hoping the spell caster can't catch him with a spell

The constant whine in his ears makes the wizard unsure of his environment. He composes himself as best he can, summoning the tricks and techniques his studies have taught him to focus the powers of other planes of energies.
He has to buy Stadvas more time. Time. If only Badlin had more time...
Cast FLARE on xeron (Fort DC = 13) This cantrip creates a burst of light. If you cause the light to burst directly in front of a single creature, that creature is dazzled for 1 minute unless it makes a successful Fortitude save. Sightless creatures, as well as creatures already dazzled, are not affected by flare. deafened = 20% pell failure, d%= 35 = spell success!

Initiative: Enemies, (action stopped here) Stadvas, Odlin, Augustine, Ryxikor, Miriam Round 7 continues Stadvas, knowing that his life is hanging on by a thread go hide behind a statue. Odlin unleashes some of his magic, a big burst of light in front of Xeron’s eyes. This dazzles the monster. Augustine moves forward after grabbing Jeerod battleaxe and swings at Xeron. However, the ranger is not that familiar with the weapon and misses. Ryxikor moves closer and hide, waiting for his turn to strike. Miriam reappears in the room and sees Stadvas on the steps of death kingdom. She pulls out the healing wand and will heal him next round. Round 7 ends Round 8 starts Xeron pulls out a wand and activates it. Energy darts flow and hit Augustine. In addition the acid arrow burn him a second time. The ranger elf is in real bad shape. Augustine swings again at Xeron, and then falls back, giving Ryxikor room to attack. He hides behind the sarcophagus, trying to get as much cover as he can. He snatches his bow from the floor, but he will have to drop it or the axe before he can attack again.
attack, 5 foot step to H3, pick up bow from G2, take cover behind sarcophagus attack: 1d20+5=21 + axe bonus damage: 1d12+3+axe bonus Does Xeron appear to have a shortspear or just a spear?
