Odlin tries to think but his fears cloud his judgement. Jukia kills Zlak? Oh Moradin! Are we too late? The wizard mentally shakes himself. Why trust the servant of evil to speak with fidelity?!The horny aberration upstairs? Some sort of outsider but where? Did we avoid a room? The wizard tries to look at the statue more cloesly but for that to happen they need to talk and get closer. " If Jukia is lost, we want to see for ourselves or at least have the chance to make our final peace with her. She is one of us and we will mourn her. [bluff] Our quarrel isn't directly with you unless you make it so. We don't care about your schemes here. Where is she? Is she with the outsider? We killed everything else, where is that?" The dwarf smiles wrily. " Or maybe you think we can defeat the outsider and win her back and are too afraid to tell us!"
RPGs are a group activity. if we want to attack then we attack (i'm lawful ) but i urge players to try and get some info out of the hobgoblin first before we get the weapons out! will the DM allow players to edit posts this time?

Augustine tries to hide behind a statue but Xeron easily catches him doing so. He peaks at the open sarcophagi and see that 3 of them have still bones in it while the 4th one is empty. The one with the different shape contains books and tomes and map. Ryxikor moves between two sarcophagi, getting some protection while playing with his thunderstone. Odlin discusses with Xeron, trying to gather information. Being a smart wizard he realizes that the horny aberration that Xeron mentioned must have been the Betrayer. This would explain how they went through the room without fighting. That thought also shared by Miriam creates a gag reflex in the dwarf throat. Xeron replies “ I told you that she was on her way to accomplish her destiny. She is lost to you. You can morn her if you want. She has finally given to the pure evil in her. Now go back to the surface and go on with your life. She is where her destiny is leading her.” He pauses and laughs at Odlin last comments “ Me afraid of you? You must be delusional, dwarf. I have no quarrel with you but a job to do. You go back to the surface and I do what I have to do.” He keeps playing with the little statue (spot check if you want to see what it is) while Jeerog has armed himself with the battleaxe. Miriam looks at Xeron with hate in her eyes “ I don’t believe a word you say! Jukia pure good side will prevail, even with all the horrors you imposed on her. How can you have the Betrayer force himself on her! That putrid monster! Now I have sworn to protect the Special One. You tell me of her whereabouts and I will not fight you. But if you keep hiding her, I will get the truth by force.”She stops and asks Xeron one more question “ what exactly are you and what is the Vanguard of Sertuous?” Xeron, with his reptilian scales on his forehead and his bright yellow eyes smiles at the cleric. “ This is for me to know and you to ignore. Now go back where you came from, I have a job to finish.” Neither Xeron nor Jeerog make sign of wanting to engage the hostilities.

The dwarf casts aside the [cracked] dragon head on his cloak and points at it as it tumbles across the floor before resting on its side with sightless cloudy eyes shrunken in its sockets.
"Here! Another fallen foe that we have vanquished. And of the Betrayer? It is no more too and you act as if we are not a threat?!
Where is Jukia? And answer my divine friend! Who are the Vanguard of Sertuous
We have tracked our friend from Barrows Edge and are loathe to turn around now with our tail between our legs after such a long trek. Satisfy us with either words or blood and we will be on our way, Hobgoblin. Either payment is welcome for we have endured much to be here but will not leave empty handed
Another scuffle will not daunt our resolve for we have saved our best effort for last"
The wizard gives a cruel smile at the last statement.

The elf shrugs, puts the thunderstone away and sheaths the sword. Bored now he gets the MW pipe out and practices a tune. He also gets away from the coffins, he doesn't want to be attacked by pesky skeletons. Move him to A6 please

Stadvas' tightening grip around his flail can be a measurement of how little patience he has left, and the fact his knuckles are turning white shows it's not much. "We're not asking what she's doing or going to do. The question is: how do we get to her?" Every word in the sentence he pronounces separately, emphasizing it. His left, shield-bearing arm rises to point at Miriam. "And answer her."
1d8+1=6+1=7 1d8+1=7+1=8 1d8+1=4+1=5 1d8+1=6+1=7 1d8+1=4+1=5 7+8+5+7+5=32
32+4=36 ->35/35 5 charges.

Augustine paces across the room, keeping his eyes on the cleric, and trying to tell what he has in his hand.
move to B3, spot check. spot: 1d20+9=28 -2 from distance, so it should be a 26.

Augustine moves around the room trying to see what the figurine Xeron plays with looks like. Thanks to his sharp ranger sharpshooter eyes, he can see it is the figurine of a Nagatha. Ryxikor moves around the room, upset he could not use his thunderstone. Still feeling shaken and unsure about himself because of what he saw in the mirror, he decides to light up his mood by playing the flute. As the elf stats his melody, Xeron yells in a nasty voice “ Are you making fun of me boy?”Odlin throws the head of the black dragon the group killed as proof of the group mightiness. Xeron somehow does not seem impressed “ Dragons are nothing more than fat lizards. And stop calling me a hobgoblin” Stadvas’ patience is its limit and it is clear the warrior has no time left for discussion. Miriam yells at Xeron “ You heard him. ANSWER ME! WHERE IS THE SPECIAL ONE?”Jeerod the hobgoblin looks at Xeron and smiles. “[glow=red,2,300] I think this is enough time. By now they must have arrived at the rendezvous point.[/glow]” Xeron nods “ You are right Jeerod. No needs to stall these anymore. Let’s tell them the truth and they will go their way.”Xeron looks at the group of heroes “ You want to know where the slutty evil one went? Right there!” He points at the hole in the ground which is large enough for a small creature to go through. Both Xeron and Jeerod laugh loudly at the group. “ Now you know, so just go”
OOC: Stadvas at full health – 9 charges left in the wand

"Time to take a break from your job hobgoblin lover!" Odlin starts to read his scroll then when the magic is ready to explode from his fingers, he moves forward and unleashes the flames of his wrath
M: to E3 S: cast burning hands 1d4 (Reflex DC13 for half) 15ft cone to catch both bad guys
i'm assuming stadvas still has the benefits of my level 4 bull's strength

First, Stadvas waits for the mage's fiery wrath to be unleashed on the two deceivers, and then he storms forward, towards the closest opponent, weapon in hand and ready to crush.
Init: 1d20=19 Delay until after Odlin, so I don't get into his flames and have a free path to charge.
Charge to F5, attack Xeron. 1d20+7+2(charge)=14+9=23 damage 1d8+9
HP 35/35 AC 15 17
That's a good opening.

The intelligent wizard tries to catch the enemies only with his move. Stad doesnt need to delay; we need to take them down quickly. Odlin's magic fills a 15ft cone, i'm sure i can angle it in such a way that it doesnt catch any of my friends e.g. F3, G3-G4, H3-H5 but if the bad guys move first THEN I'LL BE USING MY KNIFE TO AID ANOTHER +2AC STADVAS INSTEAD

The time wasting continues and Odlin cannot take it anymore. He unleashes the power of his scroll on the two enemies. Xeron is able to avod some of the effect but not Jeerod. An angry Xeron yells at the group “ so you could have walked away alive but you rather fight? Time for you to die in this forgotten tomb!”Round 1 Starts (Odlin spell was a surprise round) Initiative: Enemies, Stadvas, Odlin, Augustine, Ryxikor, Miriam Xeron throws his figurine next to Stadvas and Miriam. The figurine explodes on contact with the group and smoke comes out. A creature appears with a lower body of a worn, the head of a snake with milky white eyes and two long arms that terminates in enormous bone claws. It rises to the height of a human and is getting ready to attack. Jeerod throws one of his ax toward Odlin but the weapon bounce of the fighter armor. The hobgoblin looks like he is fighting defensively. Stadvas charges Xeron and hit him with a mighty blow. Snake like blood is pouring from the creature wound. ACTION STOPPED
OOC: Cal, not sure what you want Odlin to do? OOC2: Noda: Are you with us here? OOC3: Puff, I have Ryxikor playing beautiful music thanks.

Stadvas decides to finish off the summoner before facing the summoned creature, and swings his flail at Xeron again. He doesn't react to his words, but only smirks and waits for the spiky steel sphere to do destruction and damage to the opponent. He does not, however, have much luck making that plan reality, his flail doesn't even come near the enemy.
Attack Xeron. 1d20+7=2+7=9 Fail.
HP 35/35 AC 19
Edit: Is the music actually helping, numerologically speaking, or not?
DM Edit: The music is beautiful but does not make the group stronger!

Augustine ducks behind one of the sarcophagi, then comes up firing over Odlin's head at Xeron.
5 foot step to C2, hide behind sarcophagus, make sneak point blank rapid shot on Xeron Hide: 1d20+8=211d20+6=8, 1d20+6=12Damage: 1d6+2+1d6(sneak attack) each Well, those rolls were pretty much terrible. Hopefully he is flat-footed from the hiding and has less than three AC bonuses from magic and his snake-ness. I'm figuring Augustine should focus on the cleric, and then the hobgoblin. He does more damage against the hobgoblin, but the cleric has healing.
