The sudden and unexpected outburst from the silhouette startles Dra'gen into flaring his blades, a short one in each hand. Recovering quickly he allows a flow of curses to flow from his mouth, muttering them under his breath. He continues to move forward, but keeps his blades ready to throw if he sees defenders approaching.

As the rogue gets closer to the entrance, his lean dexterous fingers grip a single stick, the smokestick he almost threw earlier. He figures that is one good way to cover their exit from the cave.

Sirali curses quietly to herself upon seeing the silhouette announce their presence and then disappear. She wonders who has been informed and how they will respond - she suspects with violence and quickly pulls the beautifully crafted bow from her back and arrow from her quiver. She looks around quickly expecting to have to defend herself soon.

Kerraur twitches slightly at the shout, and since stealth is apparently no longer an option, after a quick bow to the statue -you never know when the deity in particular is actually watching- runs after his allies.

Savenleye grips her walking staff determinedly and turns to the group. She raises an eyebrow at Dra'gen's weapons, but continues on without missing a beat.
"Let me see if I can talk our way out of this one, guys. That is, if they don't try to kill us right away."

Dra'gens turn to lift an eyebrow he says casually By the reaction we just saw, I doubt they are going to give us that option.

As the silhouette disappears, Ryxikor moves to the mouth of the tunnel and hides in the shadows. He also grabs a smokestick from his backpack. Dra’gen activates his psionic short swords and swearing at his partner to himself, reaches the entrance of the tunnel. Sirali thinks that violence will follow soon so she loads her bow and is ready to shoot. Kerraur bows to statue of Mystra, to the surprise of Padre, and runs after his allies but stays behind them. Padre takes the front line next to Dra’gen. Savenleye walks with the group and think she can talk her way out of it. Dra’gen and Padre try to dissuade her from doing so but it is too late. Standing 50 feet away from the entrance are 4 cult soldiers and a guard, bows loaded. Behind them is Hangarath holding a wand in his hand. All cultists are wearing identical hooded half cloak. They are standing in a grass clearing inside a forest. Hangarath smiles and says I knew they would come after me. Time to end their trip. FOR THE DRAGON. FIRE5 arrows fly toward the group and 4 energy darts leave Hangarath wand and hit Padre. 3 arrows fly into the forest around the entrance. One arrow hit Dra’gen and one Padre. Bleeding the cleric yells Let’s take took the wizard first …. Padre – 13HP (Hangarath) – 3HP (arrow) – currently 20/36 Dra’gen – 4HP (arrow) – Currently at 35/39

Ryxikor holds his position, waiting to see what the others in his group are going to do. He steps up against the wall to let everyone out. "Hurry if your going out. If this is a battle of ranged weapons, I think they'll win. We have to take out that Hangarath."

Sirali figures her ranged attacks could use a boost and she utters the incantation for a spell to grant her feline grace as she waits for the better fighters to enter the room.
Cast Cat's Grace +4 dex, 1 min/level so 5 mins
btw Achinca, I haven't revised my spells since we rested. Is it OK if I do it at the weekend, I'll promise not to metagame!

" They won't." the sorcerer assures his allies, beginning to channel the power the Elemental Lords of Air have given his race. His familiar, the manifestation of those abilities, follows a quickly whistled command. It whirls around rapidly as it shoots forward, before the invisible tendrils of Kerraur's arcane might can catch up to it, changing its shape into that of a whirlwind, kicking up dust and debris and not allowing the enemy to see anything clearly enough to kill it.
Init: 1d20+1=7+1=8 Kerraur: Cast Wind Wall on C. Familiar: Move to , use its Whirlwind ability, for a 20-ft-high Whirlwind. Whirlwind (Su)The elemental can transform itself into a whirlwind once every 10 minutes and remain in that form for up to 1 round for every 2 HD it has. In this form, the elemental can move through the air or along a surface at its fly speed. The whirlwind is 5 feet wide at the base, up to 30 feet wide at the top, and up to 50 feet tall, depending on the elemental’s size. The elemental controls the exact height, but it must be at least 10 feet. [...] If the whirlwind’s base touches the ground, it creates a swirling cloud of debris. This cloud is centered on the elemental and has a diameter equal to half the whirlwind’s height. The cloud obscures all vision, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. Creatures 5 feet away have concealment, while those farther away have total concealment. Spells Per Day: Lvl 0: 6 Lvl 1: 7 Lvl 2: 4/5 Kerraur: HP: 24 AC: 11 Familiar: HP: 12 AC: 20 Go ahead. Shoot us now.

Savenleye reaches into her bag and without even looking, pulls out a lyre. She plucks a string, then another, and suddenly a furious song is spilling from the instrument, overriding even the sounds of clinking metal and guttural screaming.
Perform Check: 18+8= 26To be affected, an ally must be able to hear the bard sing/play. The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the bard sing/play and for 5 rounds thereafter. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 morale bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. [[Pulled an item from my haversack as a move action, activated Inspire Courage +1 as a standard action.]]
