Hesitating for a moment, apprehension feeling like it could start to creep in, then experience kicks in and the seasoned veteran Ryxikor is fast becoming starts to show. Having already traveled vast distances, to the underdark and back by magical portals, Ryx feels an easiness start to take over as he wordlessly walks up to the front and with a look over his shoulder and a mischevious smile he steps through the portal.

Kerraur raises his hand, cautious as ever. "Let's not be too hast-" And then Ryxikor is gone, for all they know right into some giant beast's stomach. "Is everyone properly equipped? There's no guarantee this portal goes both ways..."

Dra'gen lets his blades dissipate then steps up next to the Raptoran and places a hand on the mans shoulder Nicely done! Don't worry my friend, we'll be fine. I'm sure there is some way back. After all, you are with a bunch of 'expert trackers' you know. Dra'gen chuckles at the last part

The sorcerer shrugs, and steps into the portal, accompanied by his far less hesitant familiar.

Ryxikor enters the portal and disappears.
Kerraur tries to bring in some caution into the group but Dra’gen tells him to be more adventurous.
Padre enters the portal followed by Kerraur, Dra’gen, Sirali and Savenleye.
The heroes feel some tingling in their bodies as they being transported.
They emerge from the portal into a cave. The portal opening slowly disappears and turns into rock. The air in this cave has an almost electric feel to it. A continual flame torch burns in a sconce on the wall, a pool of water fills about a third of the floor space, and a statue of a woman stands near the far wall. Off to the left is a broad hallway leading gradually upward. Several patches of luminescent moss grow on the walls of the cave, particularly near the pool. The air in the cave is about the temperature of a warm spring morning.

Curiously, Ryx walks over to the pool, "I wonder if its ok to drink." The rogue sticks his hand in the water, bringing it up before him and sniffing it.

As they clearly find themselves well underground, Kerraur shivers slightly, and nostalgically recalls the mountaintops on which he had grown up, and their free skies. His memories are interrupted by Ryx' curiosity, though. "Don't." He once again attempts to impose carefulness onto the party. "Without an accurate idea of where we are, we should disturb this place as little as possible."

I'm going to go with Kerraur on this one. It probably is ok to drink, but do you really want to take that chance?

The rogue stands up and wipes his hand off on his side. He continues to look around the cave for any sign or clue to where they might be or who the statue may be.

Ryxikor approaches the pool and stick his hand in it and sniffs the hand. It smells like water to him.
Kerraur and Dra’gen both question the safety of trying to drink this water. Padre nods his head When dealing with the unknown, it is better not to take unnecessary risks. Unless it is critical for us to drink from that pool, I would stay away from it. By we are our own man and woman, so do as you please.
Ryxikor wises up and wipes his hand, leaving a wet spot on his clothing. He does not see or hear anything. He searches around but finds nothing.
Padre looks at the statue following the idea from Ryxikor. He thinks about his religious knowledge and suddenly a smile shows on his face. I think, I am not 100% sure but this is the statue of a goddess. If I remember my pantheon lessons, which I admit were often skipped in order to try to get into the girls dorms, that this is the old representation of the Goddess of Magic herself, Mystra. I think that we should try to find out where we are at one point. I have never been across a statue of the this goddess in my life.

Dra'gen moves over toward the hallway, looks down it, and, if not seeing anything he will slowly and quietly make his way up the hallway.

Seeing Dra'gen look for a way out, Ryxikor decides he is ready to move out of the cave as well. Ryx starts searching for footprints from previous visitors as they leave the cave.

Sirali admires the statue. "Is that statue itself magical, Padre?" Sirali asks. She wonders if it may allow them to be watched by whoever constructed it. The Druid doesn't like the sensation of having no clue where they are and she cautiously follows Dra'gen and Ryx hoping they have found a swift exit.

Sirali asks Padre about the magical nature of the statue.
The cleric shakes his head in disbelief. “That is right. I still have some of the detect magic spell left in me.” He concentrates and replies “The stature is not magic but the water and the moss have faint aura, of the school of d Conjuration, likely the healing sub-school. But given the fact that a statue of Mystra is in this room, we need to be extra cautious when it comes to magic”.
Dra’gen leads the way up, trying to move silently. He is followed by Ryxikor who finds tracks but cannot tell of whom or what. Sirali follows.
Other than Dra’gen, the rest of the group does not make a special effort to walk silently.
They walk up the hallway after waking 50 feet can see an exit and the sky with the sun in their eyes. In the middle of the exit is a silhouette sitting in a chair. The silhouette gets up, look at the group and yells “Intruders. After that it disappears.

Ryxikor, without hesitation, quickly moves up the hallway towards the exit. He sticks close to the tunnel wall, moving from shadow to shadow, wanting to get a glimpse of what they're up against and the layout of the land.
