Seeing his friend fall out of the corner of his eye momentarily breaks the psions concentration and his swing falters as he starts to deliver another blow to the soldier he is fighting alongside Valandir.

The elven warior rogue, Ryxikor Ravensclaw, covered in sweat but no blood at all, steps up behind Padre. Whispering to Padre as he moves, "Padre, maybe you should fall back and help Sirali with Kerraur for a moment. We'll try and keep them busy and off of you."
Waiting for Padre's decision, if Padre falls back, Ryx moves Into the priest's place and lunges out at the soldier (S10) with his rapier.

Initiative: Ryxikor, Sirali, Dra'gen, Kerraur, Valandir, Padre, enemies
Ryxikor suggests a move to Padre and waits for the cleric answer.
Sirali moves next to the flaming sphere, lunge into it, resisting the pain of entering the flame and getting burned and pulls out the dying Kerraur (fortitude save success for getting in the flame and resisting the pain, reflex save failed. S in K28, K in K29).
Dra’gen swings at S9 but the image of his friend falling twice to a flaming sphere is hurting his concentration and he fails to connect.
Kerraur continues to bleed.
Valandir rushes toward S9 and using the power of his skirmish, pierces the heart of the soldier killing him instantly.
Padre moves next to Kerraur (J9) and decides to drop the most powerful spell he has left, dispel magic to heal the dying sorcerer We need you alive and flying Brother!. The raptorian opens his eyes.
Ryxikor moves where Padre stood and buries his rapier in the soldier chest. It is not enough to kill him however.
S10 moves 5 feet (I31) and swings at Dra’gen but this time the warrior armor does its job. The flaming sphere moves where Valandir is standing. However, the elf is able to avoid all damages thanks to a successful reflex save combined with his evasion abilities.
The apprentice cults wizard seem hesitant to enter the room when a nasty sounding female voice can be heard screaming from the stairs Just enter the landing you maggots! If you don’t you won’t want to deal with me after I am done with these worms. And I am an gold dragon compared to what Kya would do to you!” This seems to motivate A2 who enters the room. Ryxikor fails in his attack of opportunity and energy dart leave the wizard hands, hitting Padre.
The cleric looks at Sirali, his eyes covered with blood I better take care of myself or I will not survive the next round

Knowing the apprentices can do some damage easily, Ryx tries to bury both of his blades into the fletchling mage before him. If the apprentice falls dead, the sly elf steps up into the stairwell.

Initiative: Sirali, Dra'gen, Kerraur, Valandir, Padre, Ryxikor, enemies
Sirali touches the bloodied Padre with her wand and heals him a little (39 charges left).
Dra’gen swings his bastard sword and cut the head of the last remaining soldier in the Tower of Bones.
Kerraur sees that his friends are preventing him to use his magic so he saves his spells for the big fight coming up.
Valandir moves 5 steps and tries to kill the apprentice wizard but fails to connect.
Padre drops the bless spells and heals himself. “ I am running out of spells here …
Ryxikor hits the apprentice in front of him incapacitating him.
A2 touches Dra’gen and the warrior a deathly chill goes through his bones. He tries to mentally resist but fails to do so. He feels his strength going but his strong constitution helps him check if off. The effort is however too much for the cultist who succumbs to a heart attack. A3 moves 5 feet forward and moves the flaming sphere to where Valandir stands. The scout cannot avoid the flames and suffers the full consequences. The flaming sphere disappears. A4 moves to the top of the stairs and unleashes energy darts who hit Valandir. A woman, with a striking exotic face appears. There is no one behind her.
