Sirali goes in her head of all the spells she has left but none could really help the situation. She stands back and Padre goes next to her. The priest seems calm and determined, strangely calm.
The guard is a little perplex at Padre proposition which Dra'gen accepted. He looks at the elf 'Something smells fishy but you are no spell caster yet carry no weapon. Let's give it a try but at the first movement I don't like, it is bye bye the hostage.
The guard moves a bookshelf aside then push the table . He moves slowly then grabs Dra'gen and put his weapon to the elf throat. Everyone moves to the side. Sirali, Padre and Kerraur comply. Rolf starts moving out with the hostage sweating profusely. He moves toward the exit and reaches it.
Padre says "Go in peace Rolf and make sure to atone for your acts. Find a temple of Olindmmanra and volunteer your work. You will find peace in your heart and mind. And please the hostage here.
Rolf the soldier lets go of the hostage and rans up the stairs. The hostage falls to the ground terrified. His pants are soiled.
Padre now looks at the guard. 'Now tell me, how did it feel with the girl upstairs? Did you find her screams arousing? Did you enjoy making her bleed? Did you like taking Rolf turn?
The guard holds Dra'gen tighers Why are you talking about the girl? Just let me go the way you did with Rolf and everything will be fine.
The guard looks more and more nervous.

Once Ryx hears the bookshelf and table being moved, he sheaths the dagger, and picks up the short bow and the dorwpoison coated arrow. After the follower makes his escape, Ryx hears the discussion between the others. Ryx peeks around the corner and sees he has a shot since the barricade was moved. The elf nocks the arrow and pulls the bow string back til the fletchlings touch his cheek. He then steps around the corner, taking aim and lets the arrow fly.
init: surprise
attack with short bow attack: 1d20(19)+7=26, a 19 thats freakin awesome damage: 1d6 drow poison: DC13

Savenleye hears arguing as she approaches the scene. No small amount of luck had been involved with finding Padre... And there was no way she could approach quietly on her huge warhorse. She dismounts and ties Oren's reigns to a tree. Thinking fast, Savenleye decides that it's probably best to not surprise EVERYONE present. She quickly moves behind some kind of cover where she can still see her targets and casts Message. [[ Hide check: 1d20(18)+6= 24, Move silently check: 1d20(16)+4= 20]] [Aimed at Padre and Dra'gen. They hear a whisper right by their ears, and they can whisper responses if they want, the spell lasts 20 minutes.] "Don't freak out, lads. I'm Savenleye, I know Padre. I'm going to walk up to you guys," she says. "And I'm going to pull your asses out of hot water. Act surprised to see me."[That took a standard action, so I'll wait until it's my turn again.]

Dra'gen relaxes in the guards grip and drops his hands down towards his captors stomache, just barely brushing it. If there is armor there, then he will cross his arms over his chest keeping his crossed hands very close to his captors arms but not being obvious about it. basically he moves like he's being impatient.
Once he settles on one or the other, he will concentrate on the knife at his throat ready to act at seconds notice.

Sirali, aware that things may be about to take off, moves steadily a little closer. She doesn't rush as she knows that could alarm the man with the knife at Dra'gen's throat. She holds her hands up a little showing they are empty, but she's ready to cast daze if it looks to turn the situation to their favour.

Everything happens at once. Ryxikor, who was hidden from the guard, unleashes an arrow. It hits the guard on the side and the drow poison takes effect making the guard fall asleep. At the same time, Dra’gen and Padre hear a voice in their head. The do not know that Savenleye is in the room. Padre responds out loud, like a mad men Not now Savenleye!Dra’gen is acting like a good prisoner until he sees the guard fall to the ground asleep. Sirali wants to move but is concerned about the safety of Dra’gen until she sees the guard falls. Padre rushes forward and bashes the head of the guard several times, reducing it to a pulp. I kept my word. I have avenged the men hurt Brandy. No woman will ever suffer at the hands of that one. . He looks at the group defiantly, wondering if someone will question his action. Savenleye appears from her hiding place (Welcome Uvuriel!) No furniture is left in the room now that the bookshelves and tables have been moved. However, on the south wall, an 8• foot-wide circular area is carved to show a swirling cloudlike border, within which is a splendid city within a great forest. An iron brazier stands in the near portion of the alcove, its 1-foot-wide bowl containing a granular white substance, also known as salt. There is a lot of salt at the foot of the carved area. A moaning voice can be heard as the prisoner is regaining conscience.

Dra'gen rubs his neck where the dagger was then says Thanks. to Ryx. He turns around to where the guard lay and lands a good kick right in the crotch. He then looks at Padre with with a shrug and says Sorry, I had to get one in. I feel better now that I have. I hated trying to reason with that vermin. All I could think about was how badly I wanted slice his head off. He casts another disgusted look at the guard then turns and walks back toward the others

The ever-careful wielder of Zeus' weapon puts his hand on Padre's shoulder again, squeezes slightly. "Calm yourself. Stay calm." He looks down at the now dead man. "Both of you." The sorcerer himself summons as much serenity to his face as he can. "That wasn't necessary." He adds, moving to the bookshelf and looking inside, wondering if there's perhaps something left in there that is worthy of salvaging.

Ryxikor smiles to himself about the shot, never a great archer, he's not too bad today. He shoulders his shortbow and shudders as he sees Padre in action. When the priest as if there are questions about how he handled it, Ryx looks around the group to the others, perhaps not wanting to look Padre in the eyes after the show of maliciousness.
After searching the dead guard, the rogue stands back up, "What now?", he looks to Padre, "Maybe we should take the girl and boy back to town safely. Then they could tell what has happened and save the girls."
"Someone should check on him"Ryxikor points to the man, he then turns and looks at the new girl who just appeared out of no-where.
"Once we've finished what we need to do in town, we can come back and find Hangarath and investigate that!" he says as he points to the city and forest

Kerraur shakes his feathered head. "We are in a hurry. If this is the condition of their prisoners up to this point, allowing any others to stay with these people any longer is irresponsible." He wings flutter slightly behind his back.

"Don't forget, two soldiers escaped. For all we know they could be just outside the entrance. It would also be irresponsible for us to not take them back to town after we've recued them. I would hate to hear they never made it back, only to be cut down just outside the entrance."
Ryx looks at the others wondering what is their best course of action. He still believes they should take the rescued to safety.

Dra’gen kicks the guard and walk away.
Kerraur disapproves of Padre’s actions but leaves it there. He looks around but find nothing worth salvaging.
Ryxikor proposes that they takes the man and Brandy back to the town and then come back to investigate the situation.
Kerraur disagrees, wanting to continue to proceed to save the other 3 prisoners.
Ryxikor points that there are still two soldiers cultists who escaped and could be ambushing the survivors.
Padre looks at the group. My main goal is to save Lola and her girls from death due to a false accusation. I also wanted to avenge Brandy. If that chap is Wintas, he will testify that Lola is innocent. I bet we might even get into the good side of his mother Mrs. Warehorn. I think that the non-human of the group should go back with Brandy at the Tavern and Inn and wait there unless you want to experience the racist wonders of Jaspervik. I am planning to build a stretcher for Brandy to bring her back to the Inn. Savenleye and I can go back to Jaspervik and clear Lola and the girls’ name. But may be we should make sure this is Wintas. And by the way, pointing to the woman who just arrived, this is Savenleye. I can vouch for her and no she is not in Lola’s trade.
He approaches the man and says Boy, what is your story?
The hostage, visibly shaken, replies in a broken voice My name in Wintas Warehorn. A few days ago, I made a great sale so I wanted to celebrate with some friends. As you know, it is impossible to have a good time in Jaspervik so we decided to visit the Inn and Tavern. On the way there, we were ambushed. I woke up handcuffed to the wall. The soldiers and guards were cruel but the two arcanists were particularly evil. They took my 3 friends. I was supposed to be next. I wanted to die because I heard awful female screams from upstairs which the men seemed to enjoy.

Savenley waves once at the group, rather despondently. Puh, she thinks. No fun for me. Oh well.
She decides to wait until she and Padre are on their way to quiz him.

Padre approaches Savenleyes "Hi Savenleyes. Sorry for disappearing. I had always intended to bring it back to your parents but I got distracted. You are looking good. And as you can see, I am still finding trouble, which is why you always like me. How is your adventuring going? I can see you still have the bug. Here are some adventurers: Ryxikor, a crafty rogue, Dra'gen a psionic warrior, Sirali a druid and Kerraur, a birdman sorcerer. They might look gentle but can slices through bad guys quite ferociously.

The elf with long black hair takes off his wide brimmed foppish hat in a grand arc and bows, "It's a pleasure. I'm Ryxikor Ravensclaw." he says with a wink and smile as he straightens and replaces his hat.
Once everyone has met and they have discussed what needs to take place, Ryx helps builds a stretcher for Brandy to make it back to the city. After saying their farewells and assuring each they will see them the next day, Ryx turns and heads back to the Tavern and Inn for a much needed night of rest.
