Sirali relaxes for a second knowing she was close of never seeing again the nature she loves so much. She grabs the wand and waits to see who needs healing. Ryxikor, takes a deep breath. He has survived another tough fight with another group of character. He remembers that someone came, directed Bishomon and then left. He requests healing. Sirali approaches him and gently touches his shoulder with the wand several times. After 4 hits, the wand break. Sirali pulls out a new one and finish curing Ryxikor. Finally she heals herself. After that Ryxikor investigates the dead bodies and gather the loot. He finds 5 chainmails, 2 half-plates, 1 studded leather armor (+1), 7 large shields, 7 MW longswords, 7 shortbows, 129 arrows, a claw bracer (See description, 3 CLW potions (1d8 + 3), 2 strength potions, 1 wand of MM Level 3 (4 charges left), 5 ropes (50 feet), 560 GP and a spell book (see description for spell list). Padre approaches Kerraur and puts his hand on his shoulder. Time for healing birdman. He whispers a few arcane words and the sorcerer is fully healed. (+10 HP). Dra’gen holds his bloodied hand and Padre smiles Mark of a true warrior. He puts his finger on the nose of the elf and a lot of his wounds heal. (+22HP). He repeats it again. He repeats it again and the fighter is nearly healed (+7HP). Ryxikor while gathering the loot indicates that someone should be watching the door. Padre laughs at the suggestion. They know we are here. They did not attack us. No reinforcement came as Bishomon forces were dwindling nor did he call for some. My bet is that they are waiting for us but probably at the lower level. They also might hold the key to solve the disappearance mystery and clear Lola’s name. I am moving forward Padre enters the next room. A flame on a iron rod is illuminating the room. A staircase is leading down. A curtain block the east wall. Padre grabs his mace and opens the curtain at once. He sees a woman on a cot. She is tied to the bed, hands and legs hand cuffed. She has a gag around her mouth. Her eyes are red dry of tears. She is naked. Bruises cover her body. Her crotch area is bloody. Her eyes are full of an insane fear. Padre pulls down the curtain and cover the woman body. Caressing her hair he seems all shaken. He whispers to himself Bastards …

Dra'gen bows his head slightly and says Thank you Padre.
Dra'gen follows the Padre to the next room and upon seeing the woman on the cot and Padre reacting to attend to her, he quickly averts his eyes downward to floor then says quietly I will leave you to tend to her Padre. I'll let the others know you need a few minutes.. He then turns and exits back into the first area. He looks at the rest of the group and says quietly We need to stay out here for a minute. We found a girl and the Padre needs a few minutes alone to console her. She has been through much.
He makes his way to Kerraur and rests his hand on the mans shoulder Are you ok my friend?

Once Ryx is done inventoring the loot, and feels much better from the healing, he moves forward into the next room. He sees Padre consoling someone, but since that person is behind a wall, Ryx moves on up to the next set of steps. He tries to move quietly, up to the turn and stops and listens, trying to discern anything.

Dra’gen approaches Padre, notices the situation and walks away. Ryxikor moves forward to the stairs and using his sharpen hearing to listen to what his happening. Padre slowly unties the gag from the woman’s mouth. A first nothing happens then she screams a utterly guttural scream as she is letting go all the screaming and begging the gag contained. Padre caresses her head as he whispers ‘It is over Brandy. You will be okay’. The woman starts crying dry tears. Padre puts a few drops of water in her dry mouth and as her mouth gets re-humidified, drops more waters. He unties her hands then feet and the woman goes into a fetal position, crying and crying. He heals the cuts from where the rope cuts in the ankles and wrists. Caressing her head, he gives her his water skins and whispers “ I am going to make sure we caught all the bad men who did this to you. I will be right back. After that, I’ll get you and we go back to Lola. How about that? Tears are falling down his cheeks as he speaks. The woman does a quick nod with her head and Padre gets up.
He approaches the group. Her name is Brandy. She arrived at Lola a few days after I found that haven. She is a full grown woman with a child’s mind. Lola and her girls took care of her, making sure the clients would know she was off limit. She ran errands and helped cooking and cleaning. She was the mascot of the inn. She disappeared a few weeks ago running an errand. We looked for her but could not find her. At first I believe, she had been taken by some religious freaks but that lead went dry. We assumed she disappeared the way she appeared. She is in shock. She won’t move until I come back. I am going down these stairs and will finish all and every one of these guys. It is personal for me. I understand if you do not head down. But I am sure I could use your help.
After that Padre turns around and approaches the stairs.

The Raptoran accepts the healing with a slight bow. "Thank you." He watches the injuries on his body wither away and vanish. "Don't worry. This is an unpleasant place, but apart from location, there is no reason to complain. What about you, you had to suffer through a heavy battle there." He looks at the curtain that, having fallen closed, now obscures their Cleric ally. "Will he be safe?" Padre's return causes a content nod.
His story, however, causes the sorcerer to clench his teeth and flap his wings in anger a few times, causing an unpleasant draft. He puts a hand on Padre's shoulder, and stays his movement. "I will go with you, Padre, but be careful. We'll all be careful, you were already injured badly once today, we need to make sure it doesn't happen again." His eyes move across the room, as if asking, 'who's with us?' The last one they arrive to is Dra'gen and the expression shifts subtle to a more expectant than asking one.

Ryxikor cringes as he hears the ear-splitting outburst. The elf flattens himself against the wall oppsite the downward flight, making sure he can't be hit with spell or arrow.
Once Padre starts down the stairs, Ryxikor is already there (E17), in the shadows, ready to help him. He has his shortbow with a drow-poison coated arrow nocked and ready to let fly.
Ryxikor lets anyone and everyone who is going, pass him on the stairs, he wants to sneak in last and use his hiding abilities to his advantage. He still listens carefully for the leader or any others.

Sirali follows Padre and Kerraur. "You boys are bound to need some extra healing at some point, and I'm not going to stand around here waiting for you," she falls in behind the others, letting Ryx take the rear. She tries not to let on that she's actually afraid of being left alone and hopes she does so successfully. The Druid is usually spurred to action by hatred of all things unnatural but the behaviour of these men has angered her just as much and she grips her Scimitar firmly in hand while she follows the others. "Let's make these bastards pay."

When the girl screams, Dra'gen flinches slightly then closes his eyes trying to drive the scream from his mind long after it had died down. He opened his eyes just in time to see His friends eyes fall on him. He looks back and nods his head slightly to acknowledge his acceptance.
His jaw set and two new blades glowing by his side, he follows the group with a silent vow to slay everyone down here he could get his hands on that had made Brandy scream that horrible scream.

As Kerraur puts his hand on Padre’s shoulder and tells him they will follow him, a heartfelt look of appreciation appears in the cleric eyes. He says a strong “Thank you . For him it is personal as he is trying to save Lola and her girls and avenge Brandy. For his group members, they are doing it out of pure goodness and kindness of their heart. It is not for the gold or the reward as there is none. It is because of the opportunity to right a wrong or teach evil a lesson or two.
Padre goes down and is followed by Dra’gen who has activated his magnificent psionic blades.
Sirali follows, feeling more intensely as a women than the others what the poor Brandy went true.
Kerraur having brought everyone on board on the idea of going down join the group, knowing a big milestone has been achieved for this group.
Ryxikor closes the group, still shaken by Brandy’s scream. He knows that his ability to sneak and hide is a deadly advantage the group has.
At the end of the stairs stands a wooden door. Padre looks at it and whispers ‘ Ryxikor, I need you to check if the door is trapped and locked. Also, can you hear what is on the other side and any other important information you can think of.’

Ryxikor squeezes past the others and makes his way to the door. He easily squats down, carefully laying down his bow and arrow. He then carefully places his ear to the door, listening carefully. When finished he inspects the locking mechanism for any traps. Afterwards, he pulls a worn brown leather pouch out of his haversack, unrolls it, and after selecting a few fine tools, listens one more time to the door. He then sets about trying to disarm any traps.
He then checks to see if the door is locked if so, he'll try and pick the lock with his masterfully crafted fine tools.

Ryxikor listens to the door. He hears some scuffling sounds. He searches but finds not trap. He listens again and hears What are they waiting for?. He notices that the door is locked. He opens it using his masterful tools. After that he goes back to the end of the group. Padre looks at the rest of the group and with a violent kick, opens the door. He sees an empty room except for four sets of manacles attached to a the south wall. The manacles have signs of fresh blood on them. The room opens on a hallway which is barred by a table turned over and 2 bookshelves. A guard appears from behind the made up barricade, holding his sword next to the neck of bloodied frightened-looking man. A soldier appears, holding a loaded short bow and ready to fire. “ Stop! We have an hostage! We will trade his life for our free escape. ” Dra’gen and Kerraur notice that the man is wearing clothes made with a cloth similar to the ones they found while in the forest.

Hearing the shouts, Ryxikor whispers to his comrades, "We need to try and save him. Tell them okay, and to let him go, to show a sign of good faith."

Padre follows Ryxikor's suggestion and tells the guard to let the man go. The guard laughs Do you want me to give away my only leverage? Do you think I am that stupid? You drop your weapons and leave. We will then leave and you can come back and get your gears and the guy.
Padre looks at the guard What about the woman upstairs?
You can have her. We are done with her.
Padre hits the floor of the room with his mace. He turns to the group These men will not walk away. Any ideas how to save the guy?

Dra'gen bites his lip for a moment then something just snaps mentally and he yells out YOU BLOODY COWARDS! Your a dishonor to your station and your race. I can't believe you would bargain with a mans life to save your own neck instead of fighting like a man. Your no better than a cowering dog about to beaten by his master. At least your comrades had the bravery to fight like real men instead of hiding behind a skirt like a frightened child. Maybe we should let them go Padre.. scamper off like the vermin they are. They can go live with the sewer rats if they aren't too scared to face THEM! He snarls the last word.
With that he glances at Padre with a subtle that clearly said worth a try

As the group thinks about what to do, Ryxikor slides behind Padre and Dra'gen, while the latter yells at the evil doers. He tries to moves to the open area without being seen or heard.
Once there he grabs a stone out of his haversack.
move to E8 move silent: 1d20(4)+9=13, well at least maybe the yelling distracted them. hide: 1d20(10)+9=19
