Initiative: Augustine, Odlin, Ryxikor, Stadvas, Miriam, Varags (action stopped here) Beginning of Round 3 Augustine attacks the blind and stunned varag but he is more hesitant given the injuries he just got and he does not put enough power in his strike and the varag’s hide absorb the hit. Odlin moves to provide cover for Augustine and strikes the defenseless varag hard, making it bleed even more. Ryxikor moves forward and hits the varag but his hit does not do much damage. The creature is still alive. Stadvas finally climbs over the wall. Miriam smiles at him “Go help the rest of the group. They could use your mighty flail” Miriam, tries to climb the mini wall but slips and falls on her cute butts. “wow! This is not as easy as the other made it look.” Ryxikor hears the varag leader laughs “So they are now lining up to die”. It does a spring attack on Odlin but the dwarf is ready this time and avoid the scimitar. Frustrated, the varag runs back to his original position. The second varag uses the same tactic as his leader but once again, fails to cut its enemy. The leader yells nasty insults to him. End of Round 3

Stadvas moves to his friends, and around them, looking for a place from which he can inflict pain on the varags in the greatest possible amount.

Confident that the rogue can do a deadly backstab against the blinded Varag, Odlin instead turns his attention to the other Varags as Ryx suggests.
He pulls out a scroll of magic missile and with a flourish intones the final piece of the arcane equation, letting the paper burn up as its energy is used up. With a smirk the dwarf unleashes a bolt of livid energy at the Varag leader where it strikes him hard on the shoulder

Augustine attacks the varag again, this time not caring for his defense, as he moves back towards the barrier afterwards, now that Stadvas is over. He plans to help Miriam over if she doesn't succeed this round, since she will be needed, and he doesn't think she will be able to get over the coffin lids with her armor weighing her down. He sheathes his sword as he moves, so as to have a free hand.

Initiative: Augustine, Odlin, Ryxikor, Stadvas, Miriam, Varags (action stopped here) Beginning of Round 4 Augustine sheathes his sword and go help Miriam get over the mini wall. Odlin, feeling empower but the failure of the Varags to hurt him, retrieve a scroll and reads it. Energy darts appear out of nowhere and go burn the leader. Ryxikor attacks the varag with his two weapons. He failed to connect with the rapier but finished the handicapped varag with his sword. The monster falls lifeless to the ground. Stadvas moves forward to the front line, happy to finally be able to face a living creature rather than an undead. Miriam finally succeeds in climbing the mini wall. She is not very elegant but get the job done. She says to Augustine “Thank for coming to help me. I am not usually that clumsy but heavy armor make it hard to be nimble. You should see me dancing without all that metal on me. Anyway, you look hurt. Do you need healing?” The varag leader, knowing that the heavily armored warrior will be most dangerous if helped decides to take out the wizard first. It runs toward Odlin but fails to connect. He runs back in his original position. The second varag, tired of being insulted by its leader run to Odlin, hit the wizard hard and runs back. Odlin: -5HP of damages – currently at 6/19End of Round 4

Odlin is pretty pleased with himself despite the wounds. He begins to taunts the varag as he pulls forth another scroll. " You fear me! so you should for I wrestle with the flux of arcane powers beyond your comprehension! Bah! Now feel the might of my lore." Intoning the runes loudly, he hoists the parchment high, letting it burns and crackle as the energy is unleashed.
M: retrieve scroll of scorching ray 5ft step south east to G9 S: cast scroll on V1 ranged touch attack 7+3 = AC10 (4d6 damage)

Stadvas brings his hands back, preparing for a strike, and follows the retreating varag while adding momentum to his flail. Once he thinks he is close enough to the Varag, he throws his arms forward, and the weapon moves forward in an arch. Sadly, he begins the strike too early and it falls down harmlessly before he is within striking range.
AC: 15 HP: 29/29
Charge to C10, attack Varag: 1d20+6+2-3=3+5=8
And there goes a perfectly good charge. But they'll have a bit more trouble reaching Odlin this time.

Initiative: Augustine, Odlin, Ryxikor, Stadvas, Miriam, Varags (action stopped here) Beginning of Round 5 Augustine looks at Miriam with sad eyes “Can you heal me? I got hurt badly” he asks in a begging voice. The cleric rolls her eyes. Odlin, feeling stronger as he has hurt the leader, decides to show the full extend of his magic. He unleashes rays from his finger towards the leader who only avoid them because of his uncanny dexterity. Ryxikor, happy to have finished a varag wonders what he should do next. Hw qould like to flank the varags but he needs to move first Stadvas moves in contact of the first varag but unfortunately swings his flail too high. Miriam looks at the bed spreads and the backpack and says out loud “the backpack, it is magic, as is the leader short bow ….” She puts her hand on Augustine flesh and using her divine powers, heals him. (used CMW on Augustine) The varag leader, smiles as Odlin misses with his spell. He moves carefully around Stadvas to flank him with his minion. He hits the warrior with his scimitar, hoping to eliminate that latest thread very fast. The second varag, helped by his leader providing a flank hit Stadvas too. The warrior is suddenly in trouble. "Stad, I'm coming!" roars Odlin as he steps up to flank the leader. Knowing he might not be able to do much damage he decides to give the warrior a bonus to his AC
M: 5ft step north to E8 to flank Varag leader. Puff's post said D8 so i assume he doesnt want to flank, otherwise, i'll let Ryx flank and move somewhere that i can attack VL and still use my aid another S: aid another; give stadvas +2AC=d20(17)+2+2flank=success
PS: as i am flanking or Ryx is flanking, Stadvas ALSO gains +2 flanking bonus to hit VL

Now that his wounds are no longer causing his green tunic to look like a wintersfest tree, Augustine moves closer to the varags than he probably should, and sends pointy death at the leader, though with his luck recently, it is more likely to be pointy inconvenience.
Move to G9, attack VL. Attack: 1d20+5=15, 1d20+5=24I forgot rapid shot requires a full attack, so only the first attack happens, but it goes at +7, so it hits AC 17. Sorry about not posting in time, yesterday was crazier than I thought it would be. I assume puff wanted the flanking position, probably typoed. He included flanking and sneak attack damage in the post, and e is right over d on a qwerty keyboard, so it was probably slip of the finger.

Initiative: Augustine, Odlin, Ryxikor, Stadvas, Miriam, Varags (action stopped here) Beginning of Round 6 Augustine moves in a location where it can have a clean shot at the leader. However, the arrow flies above the monster’s head. Odlin moves strategically forward and distracts the varag leader for Stadvas. He also helps Stadvas by flanking the leader. Ryxikor moves forward in a non flanking position which is strage for such a crafty rogue. He attacks the leader and easily slices him but does not do much damages. Even with Odlin helping him and flanking, Ilya’s flail fails to connect with the Varag leader. Miriam moves closer to the frey and pulls out a small piece of iron. She cfocused on hit and yells “Feel the power of St Cuthbert!” Suddenly, the varag leader stops movings as if paralyzed. Miriam smiles at her neighbor Augustine. “You got to love the power of the hold person spell”. She yells at Stadvas “Mighty warrior, time for you to finish this garbage” The varag leader has hatred in his eyes towards Miriam but is not able to do anything. The second varag, unsure why his leader is not moving, slices at Stadvas and cut deep into his flesh. Stadvas: -7HP of damages – currently at 10/29 End of Round 6

Augustine switches targets to the far varag, trusting one of the others to finish the now helpless leader. Unfortunately, his aim is still off, and he curses as both arrows miss. 1d20+5=12, 1d20+5=15The leader is helpless, so if Stadvas used a coup de grace, he could use full power attack, hit automatically, and should do 2d10+24 after the critical damage.
