"It's not. And it defeats the purpose of you being here." Stadvas jokes, while looking across the graveyard. He turns around, and addresses his companions. "Ryxikor, could you find out if someone forgot to close it on his way in or out?" The fighter squints slightly and peers at the mausoleum, checking if anyone forgot to close that as well.

"I could be paranoid, but I am inclined to think foul play, eyes open and be ready for trouble." Augustine nocks an arrow to his bow and scans the graveyard, rocking back and forth on his feet, a bundle of energy ready to blow up at anything that presents itself as a target.

The elf listens to the warrior and as he sees the tracks of others, he tries and distinguishes which were the lastest and if they were coming or going. Ryx, being cautious draws his rapier as he enters the graveyard.

Odlin give Mia a nonchalant look before he agrees with his friends.
"Yes, there are foes and woe betide them if they have the hurt of Jukia on their hands for I shall sorely punish them for it. Come. Let us enter for we are not mice but hunters."
Keeping a look out, the dwarf readies for combat but urges his comrades enter the graveyard

Mia shrugs her shoulders at Stadvas’ comment. Her face is tense as she does not seem to like at all what is happening.
Ryxikor looks for tracks and notice that there are fresh tracks going into the cemetery but no track coming out.
Oldin urges the group to move forward to rescue Jukia.
The group enters the graveyard following a narrow path winding its way up the hill toward a large structure flanked by ancient, life-sized statues of a warrior and a priest.
Two humanoids lie sprawled on the mausoleum's steps. Dark liquid seeps out from under the bodies, and beyond them, the doors to the mausoleum are open.
Mia stops and turns white “No …. No ….. Doral ….. Zeera ……”
She runs halfway toward the bodies and stops. She kneels in a prayer, covering her face to hide her emotions. The two bodies, seemingly savaged by some wild beast, lie in a pool of blood. One is a male dwarf, and the other is a female human. Each wears the remnants of a town sentinel's tabard. Blood spatters cover the landing and the flagstones just inside the tomb's doorway.
However, Ryxikor spots that broken arrows are protruding from Zeena and Doral bodies.
Augustine focuses on the statues and perceives a movement at the feet of the statues. Two pairs of feral eyes gleam out from behind the graven images. Augustine thinks that they are wolves. Another darker wolf-shape roams farther away, among the nearby gravestones.

"We need to either hide or remove the corpses." Stadvas advices. "Besides courtesy, the smell of blood might attract... hmm... more wild animals." His eyes following the blood en staring trough the entrance to the mausoleum and trying to make out whether there is anything inside, he adds, "I'm sorry, Mia." Although not much about his expression shows it, he means those words and really is sorry... But their own survival comes first. That is also the main reason why the warrior's right hand is tightly clenched around his flail.

"Wolves, by the statues. I doubt they are normally here, I don't think this is their preferred habitat. And they aren't eating the bodies, I think whoever is inside left guard dogs." Augustine tries to estimate the distance between him and the statues, then waits for someone else to decide whether to attack.

Carefully inspecting the corpses, Ryxkior looks at the fletchlings of the protruding arrows, trying to distinguish if they came from the same bow or more than one. Once he hears that wolves are about, the stealthy elf moves to the doorway of the mausoleum, if it is open he peers inside, if it is closed, he puts his back to the doorway of the building so no wolves can surround him.
DM edit: The corpses are near the statues i.e. the wolves. If Ryxikor goes to inspect them, he will get really close to the animals. The door of the mausoleum is open but it is unlikely that Ryxikor can get there unharmed.

Ryx grips the hilt of his rapier tightly. The elf, cautious of the beasts, slowly grabs one of his throwing daggers and waits to see if the wolves attack as the group slowly aproaches.

Stadvas takes a few steps forward trying not lose either wolf from his field of vision too long and keeping his flail ready to strike the first animal to come close.
Initiative: 1d20 = 9
I'll assume Stadvas didn't see anything in the mausoleum. Movement to K-9. Woof.

Ryxikor hesitates momentarily, watching the wolve's movements. As the elf sees Stadvas advance, he holds his throwing dagger gingerly in his right hand, ready to throw at a moments notice if the wolves attack.
init: 1d20(1)+3=4 move: 5 feet north to L11 if wolf attacks he throws dagger: 1d20(6)4=10

Odlin grimaces at the lupine foes and peers at the strange shape amid the tombstones. "Stadvas, with you!" shouts the dwarf and he readies his cudgel.
The dwarf moves forward, ready to attack any foes.
M: move to K8 S: ready an action to strike any foe that comes within melee range
hp 13 AC 16 (17 vs W1)
next round, Odlin is planning to use aid another to help Stad smack a foe init = 11
PS: everyone needs to read the loot thread and to let me know what they think is best for dividing magic items: OPTION A: sell all magic items found (i need achinca to let me know what % of an item's value would we get from selling it), players can buy them from the party with their own money OPTION B: magic items are not divided up as other treasure and are lent to deserving causes. the party honours to supply its members with the tools the party thinks they need
PPS: "move to K-9. woof" arrf! i'd like to donate 20xp from Odlin to Stadvas for that one!

Augustine is trying to get a sense of why the wolves are here as they have traditionally stayed away from the graveyard. Ryxikor readies his action, his dagger ready to be thrown if the wolves attack. Stadvas and Odlin moves cautiously, ready to strikes if the wolves attack them. Mia runs to the bodies and checks as if trying to heal them. “ No, no, this cannot be true. I send them to their death. ..But wait …something looks strange …. The mauling seems recent but they both have older wounds. Zeena looks like she has been killed with arrows and Doral seems to have been bludgeoned to death. Your death will not be in vain.. But first you deserve proper burial.” She grabs the female body and put it on her shoulder. At the moment the wolves attack. Ryxikor launches his dagger but misses the wolf completely. The one who tries to attack Mia from the left get nastily clubbed by Odlin. The mysterious creature has not moved yet.
OOC: Thanks for already rolling the init for round 1. Noda you need to roll yours.

The dwarf's jaw sets when he sees a fallen comrade being rescued. Better that than to leave the corpse as a scavenger's meal. With vigour he steps between Mia and the wolf, swinging his club menacingly with a ferocious grimace. "Go Mia! Quickly! We'll retrieve the other"
step 5ft north to J8 between Mia and W1 attack W1
