The dwarf keeps the eyes of all the people for a moment and looks no more like the nervous timid creature of before
"I am Odlin. A Terramancer. And these are my companions. We are adventurers and have no reason to cause you fear or harm."
The wizard takes a chair and signals to the barkeep for some ales

Ian looks at Ryxikor and winks at Mia. “So Singing Elf, are these men the yellow ribbon adventurers you thought you might know and just happen to have ridden into town? I guessed our blessing from the king statue is still alive. We have issue in the graveyard and adventurers appear.”
He smiles and pours 3 beers that the waitress delivers to the table.
Mia is less diplomatic “Your envoy here, the elf, knows what is happening and our offer. He can fill you in. Just understand that if your intentions are less than honorable, we will be watching. We have pretty strict laws about grave robbers.”
Gran the dwarf smiles at Mia and address the newcomers. “Our Captain might be smart by being suspicious but I have lived a good life and I might be naïve but I am a trusting person. I doubt your presence here is a coincidence but if you had ill intentions, you would not have bothered stopping in the inn.”

Ryxikor is truely having a good time entertaining these people, though he knows if he practices more and more he'll be so much better a performer. He is so involved in the tune he is playing he doesn't even realize his companions walking in and taking seats. Once Ryx finishes playing, he accepts the mug of ale from Ian with a wink and smile to the serving girl, "Why thank you Ian." Then noticing the look on Mia's face Ryx turns his head to find his new friends sitting at a table behind him.
"Ahh, that was fast!", Ryx says aloud as he rises, mug in hand, to mosey over to their table, "That was fast. Yes these are the very ones, the adventurers that let me tag along with them." He says turning back to Mia, Ian and the dwarf. Setting his mug on the table, Ryxikor turns to Odlin, "May I?" He asks as he reaches out to take the yellow ribbon. As the serving girl leaves the kitchen and enters the main room, Ryx is there to gently tie her hair back up with the ribbon, then lightly touching her neck as he gives her another smile and wink.
Abruptly turning his attention back to his friends, Ryx relays all what has transpired in the talks, "Well good friends, it seems these good folk," he motions to the townsfolk with his right hand, "would like to hire our services." Once the details have been discussed, Ryxikor carefully places his new flute back in its soft leather case and ties the drawstring tight. He then looks up to Ian, "Ian, my wonderful host, how bout a hot meal for my friends and another ale for me?" The wily elf asks, while holding up his empty mug.
I really need to update my Char sheet. Anyone else having trouble with campaign blog? Hate to ask, but what is my split on the treasure? I think i'm gonna keep the flute. We had the ring and cloak indentified, didnt we? What did they turn out to be?

Odlin gruffly accepts the ale "We are here on our own whims, on the trail of a villainous evildoer called Zlak who poses as a priest. He has kidnapped our friend and we will hold Zlak and his allies to account for his bold crimes.
We know he has come to Kingsholm but know not where he and his allied goblinoid curs have made their lair.
Speak now and hold no tidbit back. Have you seen this mongrel or noticed any unusal monstrous activity?"
The dwarf tenses as if he is about to call down an abominable firestorm on Mia and her compatriots.
we'll have to wait until ilya and noda are back with us before we split the items - wouldn't be fair without their opinions

Mia, Gran and Ian all shake their head. “We have never heard of any one called Zlak posing as a priest. We have a local cleric who worships Olidammara. Her is capable and has healed many of the villagers at one time or another, but we do not trust 100% anyone who worships the Laughing Rogue. As I told your friend, we have not seen a goblin in years. The only issue is recent. The Yurlings did not come back from the Mausoleum and the two sentinels that Mia sent have not returned.”
The waitress smiles as Ryxikor ties her bow back focusing on his almond eyes and his pointy ears. As he finishes she whispers to him “the inn closes at 1:00 …”.
Ian brings food and ale to the table. “Do not worry about the cost. We will deduct it from the 50 gold pieces we promised you if you go see what is happening in the graveyard. You will go check won’t you?”

Odlin mulls the offer over carefully. He dismisses the townfolk with "Let us talk this over among our fellowship."
Siting at the table with his comnades, Odlin drinks from his ale and considers Zlak and the goblinoids. "Well their trail leads here. That is all the clues we have. I think we shall have to investigate this mausoleum in any case. Whatever trouble has come to Kingsholm could be part of a greater web of malice being spun by Zlak. We should make use of the resources available to us by working for the villagers"
He let's the others make their points before asking for a vote.

Augustine and Stadvas look at Odlin then at Ryxikor. The strong warrior speak a in slow but powerful manner "All I care about is saving Jukia and teaching Zlak a lesson or two. The problems at the graveyard are secondary. However, it is probably not a coincidence that the kidnappers are going towards Kingsholm and trouble have started there."
The Ranger nods "I concur. As far as I could tell, the tracks did not enter Kingsholm and seemed to go directly toward the cemetary. We could kill two birds with one arrow but rescuing Jukia and helping this town, and collecting the reward at the same time."

"Last time we did this it brought us... well, into this mess." Stadvas adds to his earlier words. "Either we get into a bigger mess, or we kill two birds." Quoting the ranger, he nods at him. "There are more ways up from here than down. Let's do it."
I might be on more often from now on. Things aren't quite as bad as I expected them to be. And yeah, campaign blog is giving me trouble too. Do whatever you want with the loot.

"Yes. Let's do this. I'm looking forward to stoning some black crows," retorts the dwarf darkly. He snorts and shares a laugh with someone sitting next to him that nobody else can see. "Yes brother, there will be a river of blood to cleanse the sins alright."
Once the group is ready, the wizard slowly gets up and heads directly for Mia. "We accept your offer. I think the villain we pursue is behind the danger at your resting ground. We shall return when we have a reply."
Turning back, he catches Ryx's gaze following the barmaid and he says. "Saddle up, we're going hunting for less pretty game"
ppl care to comment in the loot thread what items they wish for? if it comes to a tie, we can roll for it? what say ye?

Ryxkior looks to Odlin, seemingly more sure of himself than when they first met. The elf quietly nods to the dwarf, But we should probably re-supply first. I know there are a few things I would like to check on. I'd like to see if they have a good short bow somewhere in this town for one. And if we're going to the mausoleum I think I'd like to see their cleric." Ryxikor looks to the pretty serving girl, and says quietly, "We'll be back soon. How can I find you?"He then turns his attention to his companions and the new task.
Umm, the serving girl is pretty correct? lol Lets do the loot thing quickly so we can buy supplies.

Mia nods at Odlin. "I hope the trust that Ian is showing in you is well placed. If not, you know where I will place my blade."
The Captain looks tough and angry but a certain smile is showing to the corner of her mouth as if she was happy to get someone to check the Mauseluem without to endanger the life of more of her men.
Ian looks really happy ast Odlin acceptance. "This is wonderful Master Dwarf. I am so glad you are willing to help. And yes, Sir Elf, we have a few shops here. We are bigger than Barrow's Edge and have a bigger selection. The Cleric of Olindammara is porbably in his temple, nearly the edge of town, on your way to the graveyard."
The waitress smiles at Ryxikor. "I will find you if you want to find me." She smiles and ties the yellow ribbon around the elf arm while smiling. "Stay safe Master Elf".
Stadvas and Augustine are smiling at the elf sudden success with the female crowd while Odlin is more mater of fact and remind him that he has uglier things to hunt.
The entire inn is looking at the adventurers, waiting for them to resolve the issue happening in the graveyard.
OOC: Let's handle the trading offline to go quicker.
Ask Ryxikor. He is the one who approached the waitress...

"Never fear. We shall return soon." Ryxikor says to the pretty serving girl. He then turns to the others, "Lets see this thru." And he finishes his ale, setting the mug on the table.
After the group does a quick re-supply, they start their march towards the graveyard. Ryx practices some tunes on the flute as they slowly get closer.
Ok, no responses. No one wants anything then. Lets just sell everything and take the gp value and get what ever we need. Never heard anything about the ring and the cloak, didnt we get them identified before leaving barrows edge?
DM edit: Here is the loot identified from a post at the end of the last module
Thamior, although complaining about the cost if it does identify the ring and the cloak. These items have been magically charged to protect the wearer (ring of protection +1, cloack of resistance +1). The potions found in the former shrine to Moradin are Cure Moderate Wounds, Bull Strength and Oil of Magic weapon +1. The scrolls are Cure Light Wounds, Magic Missile and Burning Hand.

Concerned about the party's silence on their way to the mausoleum, Ryx decides to search for tracks. Once they arrive, the elf looks for the area with the most tracks and traffic.

Odlin is ready, almost impatient. He calls down the forces arcane around him like a swirling miasma until it coalesces briefly like a glimmering vest of mail then fades in to nothingness
"Let's go" he indicates to the others.
Ryx leads, looking for tracks, followed by Stadvas hefting his flail, then Odlin then Augustine with his bow drawn and ready. Everyone keeps a careful watch of their surroundings looking for hidden ambushers.

After doing some last minute shopping (if needed), the group of 4 adventurers goes toward the graveyard. Odlin using his arcane powers increase his protection. Ryxikor follows the tracks or try to identify anything out of the ordinary. Stadvas and Augustine follow in silence as the group is wondering if they will be able to save Jukia. As they ar about to leave the town, they hear “ Wait, Wait” Mia is running toward them. “ Let me accompany you to the entrance of the graveyard. I will open it for you.” The group follows a well maintained dirt road that goes uphill toward the graveyard. As they get in view of the graveyards door, they see that ivy winds its way up the iron bars of the cemetery gate. No rust discolors the black metal, and flowers blossom near the wall. Beyond that wall, the group sees a gravel walkway that weaves its way up through groomed grass and white tombstones. A few statues rise up along the hillside, their gray features gleaming in the sun. Mia stops and says in a worried voice " That's not good, the gate is open."
