Initiative: Augustine, Sargus, Stadvas, Krisis (fascinated 1/2), zombie, Ryxikor, Oldin, Miriam (entangled 0/3) (no roll) Augustine stands there aiming his bow, wondering loud “who do I shoot, who do I shoot?” Sargus, the male varag tries to identify the most dangerous member of the group and settles for Stadvas. He tumbles toward the fighter and attacks with both weapons. The scimitar hits but the armor deflects the short sword. Stadvas swings at the zombie but the combined of the male hide and the leather armor is too strong for his weapon. The zombie swings and misses Stadvas. Krisis stays immobile, looking at Odlin with a mix of admiration and confusion. Ryxikor grabs a tanglefoot bag and throws it but uncharacteristically, the throw is really poor. The bag falls on Miriam who screams and is now entangled. Odlin continues fascinates Krisis with his black dragon hat. He gives directions and ask for support but no one seems to listening. Stadvas: -6HP from Sargus –Currently at 19/29[/b[ OOC: Sorry: Krisis is female varag. Sorry for confusing you guys.

Odlin asks the others to take down the zombie and do it swiftly. "Guard me Ryx, Augustine!" The dwarf signals for the others to take up positions before him.
The wizard's mind races with all the possibilites. He knows that once he launches another attack, the female will remain captivated for another dozen seconds or so. Once the zombie is down, he could sap the strength from the male varag?
The dwarf watches and hopes his team work together despite the elven accuracy of the young sylvan.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- S: concentrate on maintaining the spell, female varag is fascinated. M: 5ft step to M9 AC 17 vs zombie else AC16
i suggest you all keep the zombie and the male creature away from me so i can reduce the enemy numbers by 33%, dont split your attacks, all go for the zombie, and i need a blocker (miriam or ryx please!)

Ryxikor gasps sharply and his eyes go wide when he sees who he has captured in his tangleffot bag. "Sorry." He says under his breath, more to himself than anything. As he watches the large male attack Stadvas, Ryx decides he has to try again. The elf gingerly moves around the low wall and couch, grabbing in his packback as he does, and removing a second tanglefoot bag. "Please let this one hit the beast, Olidammara." He says as he takes aim. He starts to think if he hits Stadvas..... he quickly pushes the thought out of his mind and hurls the bag at the two-sword wielding monster.
HP: 15 AC: 16 Move action: move to H11, and grab 2nd tanglefoot bag Standard action: attack Sa attack: 1d20(11)+5=16, my fingers are crossed tanglefoot bag: This round leather bag is full of alchemical goo. When you throw a t-bag at a creature (as a ranged touch attack with a range increment of 10 ft), the bag comes apart and the goo bursts out, entangling the target and then becoming tough and resilient upon exposure to air. An entangled creature takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls and a -4 penalty to Dex and must make a DC 15 Reflex save or be glued to the floor, unable to move. Even on a successful save, it can only move at half speed. Huge and larger creatures are unaffected by a t-bag. A flying creature is not stuck to the floor, but it must make a Dc 15 reflex save or be unable to fly. A creature that is glued to the floor can break free by making a DC 17 Strength check or by dealing 15 points of damage to the goo with a slashing weapon. A creature trying to scrape goo off itself, or another creature assisting, does not need to make an attack roll; hitting the goo is automatic, after which the creature that hit makes a damage roll to see how much of the goo was scraped off. Once free the creature can move at half speed. A character capable of spellcasting who is bound by the goo must make a DC 15 Concentration check to cast a spell. The goo becomes brittle and fragile after 2d4 rounds, cracking apart and losing its affectiveness. edit: I just realized I might be firing into melee. If I am then Ryx will delay his action and just taunt Sargus in goblinoid and try and draw him away from Stadvas and closer to him, Ryx. If Sargus does leave the melee, maybe Stadvas can get an AoO and Then Ryx can throw the bag without a penalty. If that happens would Ryx be first to act in next round??? Everything else still stands, he moves to H11 and gets the tanglefoot bag out, he holds it in his right hand by his leg, concealing it. He also holds his dagger in his left, like that is the only weapon he has. If there is no penalty for throwing it now then he will. Hmmm, just thinking should I roll a bluff check since he is pretending to only have one dagger in his hands, and standing there looking like an easy target?
just in case these are needed: sleight of hand (to hide the bag): 1d20(15)+7=22 bluff: 1d20(12)+7=19
So my thinking is here is a single dagger wielding lithe elf taking on this 7', two sword wielding monster, and once Ryx gets him away from the others, then thats almost a point blank shot.

Augustine draws his sword as he moves to the wall, adjacent to the zombie. He then attempts to distract the zombie to give Stadvas a better chance of hitting.
Move to K8, aid another. aid another on Stad against zombie (1d20+2=9) fail (should be 7, thought there was flanking, but there wasn't. Cover modifier included) HP: 21 AC: 17 (before cover) I tried to position myself so that if the Varags move towards Odlin, I will almost certainly have an AoO, but I couldn't cover all angles while still helping Stad.

Initiative: Augustine, Sargus, Stadvas, Krisis (fascinated 2/3), zombie, Ryxikor, Oldin, Miriam (entangled 1/3) (no roll) Augustine moves closer and tries to help the fighter but his attempt to distract the mindless zombie fails. Sargus attacks Stadvas with his two weapons but the warrior is in total defense mode and easily deflects the shots. His total defense posture helps deflect the zombie attack too. Krisis seems completely fascinated by the black dragon head on top of Odlin’s head. She does not seem to worry about anything else. Ryxikor moves in an open spot, pick up his second tangle bag and showing his dagger, provokes Sargus in goblin by insulting his manly abilities and telling him what he will do to his mate after he emasculate him. The male varag attention turns to the rogue. Sargus yells at Krisis “Go flank that elf worm, woman!” Were Ryxikor insults enough to distract him? Answer in the next round Odlin maintains his spell and to his surprise seems to be extended. It must be the special aura of the room. Miriam tries to entangle herself but fails

Augustine attempts to distract the zombie to give Stadvas a better chance of hitting, this time with better results, as the zombie tries to pay attention to both Augustine and Stadvas. aid another on zombie (1d20=14)

Ryxikor keeps harrassing the varag. In the goblin tongue, Ryx yells things like the 'female is enthralled by the dwarf, lol' and continuing his asualt of Sargus's manhood. he hopes he can draw him away AND that he doesn't get killed if he does.
HP: 15 AC: 16
attack Sargus with tanglefot bag: 1d20(13)+5=18 OOC: since its a new round I made another roll.
If Sargus doesn't move away, Ryx shuts up and manuevors, stealthly, through the couches, west, north, then west again til he gets to G7, That should give him flanking. what about Sargus's Dex bonus, does he still get it.
hide: 1d20(20)+10=30 move silent: 1d20(8)+10=18

OOC: Cal, want to RP Stadvas for this round? Ilya must have had way too much fun in Greece and forgot about us. Puff, if Sargus decides to attack you, he will be in your face. You can touch him with the tangle bag (Which would be a good thing considering you missed). Questioning a Varag male manhood in a risky proposition but you got a point about her feeling entralled by Odlin.

Stadvas looks at the zombie varag and considers that this wouldn't be the first time he has brought stillness to the unliving this week.
Gripping his sword he swipes hard at the zombie while Augustine harries his prey

Initiative: Augustine, Sargus, Stadvas, Krisis (fascinated 3/3), zombie, Ryxikor, Oldin, Miriam (entangled 2/3) (no roll) Augustine continues his effort to distract the zombie and succeed. Sargus outraged by the mockery of Ryxikor, goes toward the rogue and attacks him. The scimitar hits the rogue but the rogue deflects the short sword. Stadvas is not fighting in defense mode and attacks and finally hits the zombie with his sword. Rotten pieces of undead Varag go flying everywhere as the strike is really well done. Krisis is still completely infantuated by Odlin the magnificent. Emotionless, the zombie tries to hit Stadvas with his scimitar but fails to connect. Ryxikor touches Sargus with his bag of entanglement and steps 5 feet back. As the Varag is caught by the goo, Ryxikor tells him that he will have the best seat to see what the dwarf will do to his mate. Odlin continue the control of Krisis knowing that she will come of out it next round. Miriam is still fighting to try to get out of the goo. Ryxikor: -6HP damages – Currently at 4/10
OOC: Puff, Ryxikor must have more that 10HP. It is full HP + CON level 1 and Average XP each level after that (e.g. for 1d6, it is 4 level 2 and 3 level 3. So without any CON adjustment, I have Ryxikor at 13). OOC2: Call, regarding Stadvas, the Fighting Defensively part would have made his fail so I overrode it.

Inspired by his successful hit, Stadvas swings his sword again. His hope is misplaced, because this time, the blade doesn't even come close to their undead enemy.
Attack roll: 1d20+5 = 2+5 = 7
I thought I had posted, and I'll try not to let it happen again.

Augustine takes a step to the right, and attempts to hit the zombie, wanting to get rid of at least one enemy permanently, so as not to have to face three enemies at once. Attack on zombie (1d20=6)Ilya, if you take a step north, we'll have the zombie flanked, maybe we won't both roll horribly next round.

Take this as my actions if the suggestion is not acceptable by the DM; Odlin continues to concentrate on enthralling the female Varag's mind with his hypnotic charms.
If, however, the power fades from his captivating magicks then the dwarf realises the rakish elf may soon be overcome without assistance. While pulling out a scroll from a case, Odlin articulates syllables of eldritch energy that create a burst of dazzling light before the make varag
S: keep concentrating on Hyp Pat M: Retrieve a scroll of scorching ray
OR if hyp pat is going to go fizzle then change actions to; M: retrieve a scroll of scorching ray S: cast flare on male varag Fort DC 12 to negate else dazzled for 10rnds (dazzled = -1 penalty on attack rolls, spot and search checks)
[glow=red,2,300]SUGGESTION[/glow] Because of the imperfect mechanics of PbP, we are in a situation that both Puff and I (and Ilya to a varying degree) have to declare actions without knowing what the bad guys (who act before us) are doing. That means that we have to predict the future and cannot react to the situation. We are acting on out of date information!
However as a "fix" can i suggest the following; (1) Augustine and Stadvas DELAY their initiative until they are the same initiative as Ryxikor for the NEXT round (2) because both Ilya and Noda have posted, Achinca can adjudicate their actions then sort out Sargus, Krisis and Zombie's actions then PAUSE Combat. Puff and I can then see what is happening and then act accordingly. (ignore what we have posted for this round until we see the results). Achinca makes a post. IT IS STILL THE SAME ROUND (3) We then have Puff and I react to the situation (4) START OF NEXT ROUND, because Aug and Stad have delayed, the bad guys all act and the DM make a post of what the bad guys have done (5) then the good guys get to work in concert and maybe have an advantage in our tactics, we all post together (6) then the DM decides what happens after our actions and the next round's bad guys actions then makes a post (7) then the good guys all make posts (8) then the DM makes a post (9) and back to step (7)
this way, all the players are acting on fresh information the DM is making a post HALF WAY thru the round (instead of at the start of it and in the middle of the player's turns)
only a suggestion...

EDIT:
"Ugh." The elf groans as he receives the hit from the curved blade of the scimitar, his hand involuntarily going to his side feeling the wetness of the blood as it starts to seep through his clothing. He looks back up to the varag and sees him covered in the goo from the bag and bursts into laughter, "Haha haha, How could she fall for a dwarf? Hmm, I've finally found something that a dwarf smells better than, YOU !! Haha!" Ryxikor ignores the pain from his wound as he mocks the menacing monster. The young elf still having a bit of fun, carefully steps off the couch, back around the low wall, to have some kind of barrier between him and Sargus, dropping his dagger as he does. He then unshoulders his short bow and pulls an arrow, shuffling south as he does. Ryx knocks the projectile quickly and lets it fly.
HP: 9/15 AC: 16
Free action: 5' step west to D12, drop dagger Move action: grab bow in left hand and arrow in right, while moving 15' south to G12 Standard action: attack Sargus, if he is denied DEX bonus doesn't he get sneak attack?
attack: 1d20(18)+5=23 damage: 1d6 sneak attack 2d6
Balance (stepping off couch): 1d20(14)+6=20
If Sargus moves towards the low wall 5', Ryx moves towards the eastern wall, E13, F13, ending at G13
