The spellcaster winces as the arrow bites into him, but remains standing. The newly appeared spiders have given him an idea: he reaches into his pouch and unfolds a piece of cloth upon which a few strands of spider web have been preserved. The strands do not have long to live, as they are consumed while he casts the spell: from the air itself, it seems, thick, strong webs are spun where his enemies have gathered, capturing them. The wind wall now is clearly detectable as the webs spin through it and arch in the powerful updraft.
The familiar retreats a bit further, out of sight.
Oooooh, forest! I can work with that! Why didn't you say so?!
Kerraur casts Web centered at 14/15-D/E, with 12/13-B/C one anchoring point and 16-17 FG.

Sirali takes a quick step to the right, figuring Kerraur is well enough for the time being to allow her to get an attack in. She pulls out her bow, allowing her to take advantage of her boosted dexterity and joins the others in trying to take down the wizard.

If Ryxikor doesn't get caught in the magical web, he enters the forest, slowly and stealthly.

Initiative: Ryxikor, Savenleye, Sirali, Dra'gen, enemies, (Action stopped here) Kerraur, Padre Kerraur, using his arcane power, set ups a web that imprisons Hangarath, the guard, the sentry and 2 soldiers. His familiar disappears in Mystra’s cave. Padre moves next to the windwall and yells at Kerraur “ Raptorian, great idea. Now they have full cover. And this windwall is blocking us as much as them” The whirldwind disappears. The invisible Ryxikor is covered in web and his outline is now visible. His reflexes help him avoid being stuck on the web. He can escape the web but his outline is visible (i.e. invisibility advantage lost). Savenleye continues to play her lyre, boosting her partners in adventure. Sirali moves closer to the swarm and fire an arrow toward Hangarath. The windwall stops it. Dra’gen, relieved that no fireball came his way comes out of the tunnel and moves into the clearing. One soldier is stuck. He tries to free himself but fails. The other soldier is quick enough to avoid being stuck and exits the web. The guard is stuck. He grabs a potion from the backpack and suddenly his muscles bulge. The sentry is stuck and tries to free himself but fails. Hangarath is also stuck but does not try to free himself. He maintains his concentration on keeping the spider swarm alive. The swarm moves forward and comes all over the druid. It bites Sirali. (I need a double fortitude roll: One for avoiding being nauseated and one for avoiding the poison) Sirali: -4HP bite – Currently at 27/31
OOC: If you have at least 5 feet of web between you and an opponent, it provides cover. If you have at least 20 feet of web between you, it provides total cover.

Sirali is not too happy about being surrounded by the swarm of spiders. The quickest escape route the druid can think of is to adopt her aerial form of an eagle. She does this in the blink of an eye and flies away from the swarm to place from which she can attack the trapped sentry.
Fort +6 1st roll: 14+6=20 2nd roll: 6+6=12
Swift action: shape change to Eagle Move: fly to G10 Swift action: shape change
My next moves would be to draw my bow and the shoot at the sentry in F14, but I didn't think I'd be able to do that all in one round...

Now covered in web, Ryx sighs and shakes his head, wondering what will happen to him next.
HP: 29 AC: 20
move action: move to J17 and sheath dagger standard action: grab bow and arrow
Is Ryx covered in web? Can he do all that?
Just a thought, maybe everyone should concentrate on the guys not caught in the web, then we go after the ones in the web.

With dignity, Kerraur replies, "They're incapable of movement, and their spellcasting is hampered." He nods towards the enemies on their (and our) left, baffled by the fact they've yet to be attacked. "Not against them! Nothing defends them!"
The sorcerer himself decides to take the combat to the third dimension, unfolding his wings and taking off over the web.
Double move action: fly (average, 40ft.) Average maneuverability means his upward speed is 20ft. That brings him, horizontally, to 11I and vertically to 34 ft. altitude.
The relevant rules are in the Dungeon Master's Guide on page 20.
HP 18/24 AC 11
Soooo... someone mentioned flying over the enemy. Achinca, does the web also extend to 20ft. in height?

Initiative: Ryxikor, Savenleye, Sirali, Dra'gen, enemies, (Action stopped here) Kerraur, Padre
Kerraur uses his natural abilities and extends his wings. He is now in his element, ready to fight.
Padre, finally getting the clue from Kerraur, walks through the windwall and swings his mace at S3. Sadly, he fails to connect.
Ryxikor moves back in the forest, sheath his dagger and grabs his bow.
Savenleye continue to play her lyre, trying to inspire her companions. Too bad it did not work for Padre.
Sirali survives the poison bite, brushes off the fact that a 1000 spiders are crawling on her and turn into an eagle and fly away from the swarm before changing back into a elf.
Dra’gen runs the opposite way of the soldiers free of the web.
S3 drop his bow, grabs his short sword and swings at Padre and miss. S1 and S2 fire an arrow each and one penetrate Padre’s armor. S4 and Se free themselves from the web and move away from it. The guard is still prisoner. Hangarath stops concentrating on his spell and looks at Kerraur. ‘I always loved chasing pigeons He shoots his wand of magic missile, hitting the sorcerer hard. Padre yells “ Kerraur, go hide in the cave until we send Hangarath back to where he belongs. And let’s starts to hit these cultists. And I could use some help here. The swarm moves forward and engulfs Savenleye. It tried to bite the bard but fails to do so (I need a fortitude check to see if Savenleye is nauseated and I need a concentration check to ensure Savenleye can still perform.. [Map] The host site I used is blocked by my work. I will try to find another one over the weekend.
Padre – 4HP – Currently at 18/36 Kerraur - -12HP – currently at 6/24
The web does not extend 20 feet in the air.

Kerraur follows the other spellcaster's example, creating a number of magical spheres to hurt his enemies, and sends them towards the enemy Padre has already engaged. Once these leave his fingers, he banks around as sharply as he can, and turns back into tunnel, as ordered.
Magic Missile towards S3, Move action: since my 'down' speed is 80ft, I can get back to P8 quite easily.
Now, to have the swarm devour me.

As Ryxikor walks up and down the treeline, his mind races back to his childhood, when he patrolled up and down the edge of a clearing while his father and older brother moved deer and other game his way. Just as in his past he carries a short bow as he moves from tree to tree. He stays on the outskirts of the web and keeps his sights on the guard. The elven warrior nocks a drow poison coated arrow, pulling the fletchlings back to the corner of his mouth, he takes careful aim, and lets the arrow fly.

Noting that he can't see Hangareth, he stops, this just adding fuel to his already seething anger. He hears Padre call out for help, curses at not being able to reach Hangareth, turns and runs to aid Padre
