With a little more knowledge gained, Ryx retreats back down the steps as he unsheaths his rapier. He moves back to the closed door and presses his ear up against it to see if anything can be heard.
If any cultist make their way thru, or are let thru, Ryxikor attacks with both weapons.

Initiative: Valandir, Dra'gen, Ryxikor, Sirali, Kerraur, Padre, enemies
Valandir moves to the back west corner of the room (L28), knowing that he needs space to be able to skirmish. He looks around but finds nothing to climb on.
Dra’gen moves away from the flaming sphere )H29) and asks Padre to heal him.
Ryxikor moves back in the room (K31)and tells the people what he heard on the roof “arcanist chanting”
Sirali hears Dra’gen request, pulls out the wand (44 charges left) and partially heal the fighter.
Kerraur stays where is, thinking about the best plan to eliminate this cultist infestation.
Padre swings his mace and although he has to go through the sphere to do so, he is able to his the sentry. The cultist is bloodied but still alive.
The flaming sphere moves where Padre was standing and he does not have a reflex good enough to avoid it, so the cleric feels the pain of the burn. The sentry enters the room. Padre tries to hit him with a AoO but fails to do so. He stops in front of Ryxikor (J31) but does not succeed in his attempt to cut the rogue. A first soldier come in and is hit but Padre sing an AoO. It is not enough to fell the soldier who swings his sword at Kerraur and cut him. A second soldier enters the room and swings at Padre. He cuts through the cleric defense.
DRa’gen: +7HP – Currently 25/39 Padre: -7HP-3HP – Currently at 14/36 Kerraur: -5HP – Currently at 14/24

Still wearing his own cultist cloak, Ryxikor smiles cryptically at the sentry that approaches him. The elf stands his ground, trying to not let this sentry move past him. He quickly attacks with both his weapons.

Dra'gen grabs the burning priest by his collar and yanks him hard backwards and sidesteps around him taking his place in the fire. As he steps forward he takes a swing at the Sentry and says to Padre Keep me healed!

Initiative: Valandir, Dra'gen, Ryxikor, Sirali, Kerraur, Padre, enemies
Valandir waits for Kerraur to move out of harm’s way.
Dra’gen moves Padre behind him and in a very heroic way enter the flaming sphere. He feels his skin getting burned to a crisp. He is able to swing his bastard sword and hit S2. The hit is powerful but not enough to kill the man.
Ryxikor smiles at the sentry and buries his weapons in the cultist body, killing the man.
Sirali touches Padre and heals him (43 charges left)
Kerraur moves 5 feet back and continues formulating a plan (J29)
Valandir moves where Kerraur was (I30) and attack the soldier but fails to hit him.
Padre yells at Dra’gen “I cannot heal you as long as you are in the flaming sphere. I could lose my spells. Sirali. You heal him!. He moves next to Valandir (J30) and attack the soldier. He hits him but does very little damages to him.
A soldier yells “Don’t move the sphere and it stays on poor Dra’gen. The warrior fails his reflex again. After that, the flaming sphere disappears. All the soldiers move 5 feet (S1 in J31, S2 in I31, S3 in H31) and each attack their opponent (S1 = >D, S2 => V, S3 => D). all 3 of them hit but S1 has the most critical hit on Padre. Valandir suffers his first cut and Dra’gen situation gets worse.

"Move, please." Kerraur tells Sirali, taking up a moment to do so, enough for Valandir to act. Then, if she does so, he slides in her place, and begins shaping his spell again, releasing flames upon the enemy. "Valandir, you too, I wouldn't want to singe you."
HP 14/24 AC: 11
Delay until after Valandir If Sirali moves, 5-ft step to I29 If and only if Valandir moves, cast Burning Hands horizontally to the right, covering all three soldiers in 5d4 damage.

Again the wily elf, Ryx, attacks the cultist furiously, making sure none of them have a chance to get thru the makeshift line the he and his comrades have made. Ryxikor makes a lunging thrust with his rapier, then brings his deadly dagger across, slashing at the man's throat.
HP: 29 AC: 20 full round action: attack with both rapier and dagger. rapier: 1d20(10)+8=18 dagger: 1d20(7)+6=13 damage: rapier: 1d6+1 dagger: 1d4+1
edit: if the sentry Ryx is fighting goes down, I would like Ryx to move 5' closer to the stairs to try and keep any more enemy from flowing in.

Initiative: Dra'gen, Ryxikor, Sirali, Kerraur, Valandir, Padre, enemies
Dra’gen swings his psionic bastard sword at S3, ready to kill the man, but the soldier blocks the swings.
Ryxikor tries his usually crafty double blade attack but the soldier he is facing is not a sentry and blocks both attempt.
Sirali moves behind Dra’gen and touches him with her wand to heal him. I am not I can keep curing Dra’gen faster that he is getting hit. Padre you might need to do your cleric stuff at one point! (42 charges left)
Kerraur prepares his spells and waits for Valandir to move before releasing it.
Valandir swings his sword but without the advantage of the run up, the scout is not as efficient and fails to connect. He tumbles past Padre leaving Kerraur the open fields.
Kerraur finally able to unleashes his magic sends a cone of searing flames that engulfes all 3 soldeirs. Neither one succeeds in his reflex save. Due to their existing wounds, the fire is too much for S1 and S2 and both fall to the ground screaming as the fire is killing them. S3 stands on his feet badly burn, fighting his burning cultist cloak.
Padre steps 3 feet (I31) and in a very powerful swing land his mace on the cultist head. The hit is critical and the soldier skull explodes on contact, killing him instantly.
S4 moves forward and swings at Padre but seeing 3 of his comrades die so quickly probably shake him and he fails to connect.
Dra’gen: +8HP – Currently at 20/39
OOC: Situation got a little better at least temporarily but there are still a few soldiers ready to come up and die for the cult, especially with the arcanists behind them. Good job team. Map tonight I hope.
If we survive this, it will be XP central.
