Dra'gen hangs back a little and remains hooded and silent. His friend was always the smooth talker.

Ryxikor looks to Mrs. Redburn, "Your husband and his brothers, all farmers?" he asks. After getting an answer, and not having anything else to ask, the rogue remains quiet, ready to get away from Jaspervik and search for the missing men.

"I guess we go back the way we came," Sirali says sighing. "We may have missed something at the scene of the scuffle after all if they were headed towards the tavern". The Druid hopes it is not already too late.

Dra'gen stays silent, happy to let the talking to his more charismatic bird-like friend.
Mrs. Redburn confirms that her husband and her sons are all farmers and none have fighting knowledge.
Sirali decides that they should go back to the site of the scuffle and see if there is more evidence.
As the group walks over there, Padre finally breaks his silence. "I guess it makes sense that two young men wanting to celebrate decide to go to the Inn and Tavern. The food and the drinks are of premium quality and there is always more entertainment available if one wants. It would also be the kind of place that young men don't tell their parents. So they were on their way to have some fun and something happened I guess. This does not prove Lola's innocence but explain the men disparition. Too bad this will just considered conjuncture in a court."
The group return to the site of the scuffle, with the tracks leading towards inside the forest.
Padre takes a step back "Anyone with tracking expertise would be welcome to use their skills to see if we can figure out were this is going. I am not surprise the guards missed these evidences as they were told the guilty party were the girls."

Relishing being back outdoors, mainly out of the strange city of Jaspervik, Ryx sets out to investigate the site. He gives free reign to Sirali, expecting her skills to be superior to his own, so he really just tries to back her up and assist her. If they find tracks and a trail, Ryx will pull out his short bow with a nocked arrow, and starts following the trail with the others.

At a loss, Sirali first checks the area again for any further signs they may have missed previously. She remembers that she has the Speak with Animals spell prepared. Casting it, she looks around for any animals or birds that may have witnessed anything of note in the area, such as men with captives.

Dra'gen looks around and found nothing.
Ryxikor looks and stumbles on another piece of cloth.
Sirali prononces a few arcane words and suddenly speaks a strange language. A couple of birds appears on a branch and seems to be conversing with the druid.

The rogue works diligently, trying to find signs deeper in the forest. He looks for footprints, broken twigs, anything that could give them a clue. Ryx walks slowly and carefully examining the ground when he suddenly sees a piece of cloth, grasping it quickly he calls to the others, "I've found something. Another piece of cloth. Let's see if it matches the other." he hastily says, hoping whoever has the other piece comes up to his point so they can compare them.
Suddenly, Ryx remains quiet, as he sees the druid making chirping sounds, apparently conversing with a pair of birds. Truely impressed, he stands dumbfounded until she finishes.
OOC: was the cloth caught on a branch or thorn or was it just lying on the gound or something?

The cloth was on a thorn and did not look like the one piece of cloth from Wentas's clothes.

Dra'gen watches the druid converse with the birds with rapt interest. Can you do that? he asks his friend

Ryxikor turns to Dra'gen as he speaks. He looks at Padre, then back to Sirali, waiting for the long coversation to end.

The birdlike humanoid shakes his head. "It is a kind of magic I have no access to." He admits. While answering, he doesn't look at Dra'gen: he is too busy marveling at the conversation between elf and bird.

Sirali's facial expression is concerned at first, then a little relief shows. She chirps back at the birds - thanking them in their own language. Turning back to others she says, "They saw two men being dragged into the woods here by some other men. They're going to show us the way." Sirali asks the birds not to go too quickly.

Padre, Ryxikor, Dra’gen and Kerraur are all in awe at the sight of the elven female druid chripping with birds.
After Sirali explains what she understood from the birds, the group decides to follow the birds. The animals have to constantly trace back as the walkers are slow, very slow by bird flying standards.
It is a long and tiresome walk at the group goes about 5 kilometers inside the forests. It is now mid-afternoon. The birds land the ruins of a few short walls. They are next to piles of stones and rocks scattered over a 100-foot-square area.
This small clearing is only remarkable because of the many stones scattered across the ground. Up ahead the stones are more frequent, eventually resulting in a few areas entirely covered in stone, with only a few sparse plant s growing among them. Some of the plants near these stony areas have been trampled down.
