For a few moments, it remains still, and then the mage's voice comes from beyond the corner again, rich in anger, beginning in a long series of curses, and then moving to. "Yes, that makes sense! I am clearly mad because I try to keep the burglars away! You break in and then demand I show 'good will'?! You're not only a criminal, you went way off the deep end! Listen to me, crazy woman! What. Have. I. Ever. Done. To. You?" A series of magical incantations, and something that sounds like the clucking of a hen, follow, and then he resumes his infuriated shouts. "I will conduct the experiments I want to! Nobody breaks in and tells me what to do!"
Most of the group stands in indecisiveness, while the dwarven member of the party swings his weapon through the hole and attempts to hit the stone arm growing from the ground, but having to swing his large weapon through the still quite narrow hole, and the arm's care not to get hit, makes it too hard for him to hit.

Taliea mulls over what the apprentice says, she can't help thinking that maybe they are intruding, however, she tells herself - we were employed by a wizard to find out what is going on, what kind of adventurers would we be if we just turned around and went home because we were asked. Also, the fact he's knowing showing us what he's doing makes him seem more suspicious. "Keep going Barrend," she says, urging the dwarf on, not in a commanding tone, but more one that suggests that's what she thinks would be the correct course of action. She keeps the arrow ready in the bow, so that she can go after the wayward apprentice as soon as the dwarf gets the hole big enough for her to squeeze through.

You could squeeze through from the very start. It just takes an Escape Artist check. I've said this.

"I don't know," the dwarf says quietly, or at least quietly for him. "What'd the master want us to do again? I wasn't paying attention. And he hasn't attacked us at all. Sure, he's crazy, but is he evil?"

"Hey, I heard that!" Bof-Anssun informs them. "Could you keep your insults to yourself?!"

"But, we're not here to harm you or interfere with your work. You should have no fear or worries towards us." Theodorre says through the rock walk, obviously starting to get upset at the situation they have found themselves in. The wizard doesn't like the thought of having to squeeze through such a tight space, it leaves to many open opportunities for attack. The wizard wonders what he can do to help in some way, he then pulls out a wand, his wand of acid arrows.

Alyana is losing patience: " Bog-Anssun, the guiltier you act, the guiltier we will think you are. You are playing with evil in my opinion and you are afraid we will expose you. Lower your defense and we will talk. Keep your defense up and I will talk to you using the "talk with the dead" spell" She goes in anger and hits the wall again: 1d20 + 5 = 17 + 5 = 22, damages: 1d8 +1 = 2 + 1 = 3 " Let's us go through!!!"

"Yes! Acid!" Taliea commends Theo's ingenuity. As long as the others keep talking to Bof-Anssun it seems he'll stay where he is, so if they keep working on the wall a little longer, the Ranger remains confident they'll soon get their hands on him and their eyes on whatever it is he is up to. She tries to guage how far behind the wall he is by his voice.

"You call it what you want, madwoman!" The apprentice retorts. "But you're burglars in my home! What do you think I am, suicidal? This is your last warning, leave me alone or you'll hear from the authorities!"
The Ranger's attempts to pinpoint the source of the voice place him about 50 feet away from her, maybe a bit more.

"Now I'm sure. I've been threatened a lot, by a lot of kinds of people, and none of 'em ever threatened to sic the authorities on me."
Barrend has no ranks in sense motive, so I'm not even going to bother trying to see if he is feigning harmlessness.

Theodorre tries to look thru the break in the wall, if he can see thru, he will point his wand and shoot an arrow of acid thru the hole, trying to hit either the 'arms' or even the dwarf.
standard: attack with wand 1d20(16)+3=19

"Who are you calling mad you raving lunatic? You better send the authorities to stop me from interogating you. You have a lot of explaining to do!"
The expression on Alyana's face is getting darker and more intense and the group around her is starting to wonder is the Silver Raven personality is coming back.

Taliea wonders about the Dwarf Apprentice's methods of contacting the authorities. She keeps watch on Theo and Barrend's work to enlarge the hole, hoping it'll soon be big enough to see and shoot an arrow through.
Can you let us know how big it is at the moment?

Off in the distance, you hear some poultry's cry again, and then some metal clattering. A faint rumbling noise somewhere far behind you responds to this. For once, the dwarf who resides this does not responds to the taunts. The wizard's spell is cast in vain, since the acid misses the arm he's aiming for completely and hits the wall behind them, sizzling quietly and biting away at the stone. Alyanna's mace once again fails to have that effect, bouncing off the rock surface without much of an effect. The magical wall continues to prove a worthy opponent.
It's big enough to see through, for a person to pass through without having to suck in their gut too much (though it would be rather clumsily), and it's wide enough for Barendd to attack the arms, as evidenced by the fact he has repeatedly done so. I think it's safe to say it's more than large enough to fire an arrow through.
Should anyone be confused, this is the end of the round which started with my post on 28 May, the one with the "What. Have. I. Ever. Done. To. You?"

The kindness and friendliness disappears from Alyana's eyes as an enraged look take over. "Judgement is coming for you apprentice and you better be ready."
Tired of her uselessness, the cleric now controlled by her Silver Raven personality tries to squeeze through the hole in the barrier with the full intention to confront the apprentice.
Escape Artist Roll: 1d20 + 2 = 10 + 2 = 12
If she is not stuck, she will move forward in the cave but will keep away from the earth arms.
