I'm not sure if you've looked at the map recently, but the arms are barring the passing. If you want to go deeper than the first 5ft, you'll need to tumble past them... or go through.

When the hole in the wall is clear of elf, Barrend continues to hack at it to enlarge it. He isn't sure this is the right choice to be making, but he's following Alyana's lead.

IF she goes through, how many AoO will she take? Two? So she takes the risk. She really wants to get to the apprentice now.

By 'going through', I meant 'destroying them'. You could get through the squares they go through, but, as normally, you'll need a tumble check and I don't think that is going to to go well.

Is there no place for her to walk by the arm or does she need to walk through their square? She is ok walking accross threatened square but not accross occupied squares.

This is the map: As you can see, you'd need to move through an occupied square.

Fed up of hanging around, Taliea stows away her bow and squeezes past Barendd, moving towards the hole in the rock. The muscular but slender half-elven ranger tries to get through the hole the others have made, instructing them to start working on the other part of the rock, hoping they can make the hole even bigger so everyone can eventually get through.

Alyanna or Taliea will have to move to H9 (note that the only damage wall is at G8) after getting through so you both have room.

OK Alyana is nuts by not suicidal. She will keep on hitting the rock and failing to damage it. Must have strong DR.

Rock has hardness 8, normally you start trying stuff like this once you have an adamantine weapon that will just go right past the hardness of anything with less hardness than adamantine (which is everything but adamantine).
As far as I can tell, it is still the same round as Barrend has already acted in. If I'm wrong, tell me.

The arm that has dodged so many blows crumbles to dust suddenly while Taliea is making her way through. Taliea swings her weapon again, and it bounces off the rock's surface without doing damage. As usual, her own attacks don't do much damage, but her dwarven ally's continued assault does bear fruit, in the shape of more slivers or rock being knocked off. The other arm, responds as if it was waiting for this, reaching at the Elf and trying to grab her. Its stone fingers close around her, and attempt to wrestle her to the ground.
There are other ways to damage thing than hacking at them, you know. Taliea, I'll need a Grapple Check (BaB+Str). Map: EDIT: Action stopped here - Theodorre - Alyana - Taliea - Your host - Barendd (My mistake).

Barrend continues attacking the wall, somewhat regretting taking the potion, since he is now unable to fit through the crack, and he isn't sure how much more stonework he needs to do before he can squeeze through.

The half-elven ranger struggles fiercely against the stoney fingers as they close around her.
