Taliea lets Theo leave without a word, and she waits for the farmer to return hopefully with food as she is more hungry than tired at the moment. She also wonders if a conversation with the farmer will yeild any useful information.

A while later, the farmer returns, and it becomes clear from whom the son inherited his figure: his mother is as as broad and heavily built as her offspring is, but she is smiling much more heartily. Mrs. Terwuy examines the guests. "Hey there!" she greets. "Svan told me who you were. The kids'll be here soon, and dinner should be ready in about half an hour... You were going to be eating with us, weren't you?" Her husband takes a look at the group, too, frowning. "Hmmm... Where's yer other friend?" he asks. "Th'one... Uhm..." For a few seconds, he struggles, trying to come up with a name or at least a fitting description, but then gives up and just makes a non-specific gesture.
Soon, indeed, the doors creak open a few times, and a few children pour in: the teenage boy we had already met, at least 17 years, a girl of roughly 6 years old, maybe a bit older, a girl of about 12 or 13 years, and their brother whom you'd estimate to be around 15.
The first one doesn't seem very impressed by your presence. He grabs a chair near Taliea with a 'hey', and sits down on it with his arms crossed. His younger siblings, however, do seem interested, and their father describes, in short terms, why you're here, what you're doing in their house and whom you're looking for, as far as he knows. The children mostly nod, and the youngest one, crossing her arms and frowning her little eyebrows slightly, seems to sink into thought, or maybe just get upset about something.

Taliea shrugs when asked where Theo had disappeared to. "I guess he's not hungry, he can be a strange one at times". Taliea greets the children with a returned "hey" to the eldest and a cheerful grin to the younger siblings, hoping to cheer them up a bit. She thought children would be more excited to meet adventurers and finds herself wishing the party had their bard friend back to regale them with tales of their heroic antics. Instead she settles with saying, "Well enough about us. Tell me about life in this area."

The youngest of the children sits down and looks at the adventurers, still with a frown on her little face. As her gaze glides from one of the adventurers to the other, it stops on the dwarf more often than on the others. His beard seems to have captured her interest. The youngest son circles Taliea a few times, and, pointing at her greatswords, asks, "So... hmmm... you kill things with that?" while his other brother continues sitting and looking at her intently. The oldest of the two sisters attempts to get a conversation going with Alyanna, but she doesn't seem to be in a very talkative mood, probably due to Kurt's absence, the lack of comfort, Theodorre's words and all the other unfortunate events piling up near her. "Ah. Well, I s'pose if he's not, he's not." The farmer shrugs. "Not much t'say, really, nothin' like your adventures... An' we don't get many travelers. I've only heard of one of 'em in the last few months, must be the guy you're lookin' for. But I couldn't tell ya, by 'Lohnna, anythin' 'bout him. Weather's been good lately, and the crops've been growing nicely, and that's 'bout th' most interestin' thing I could tell ya. It's mostly rye 'n barley, though we have some turnips as well, an' a few cows 'n pigs. Nothin' out of the ordinary I could really tell ya 'bout." He shrugs again. "'t's all quiet, nothin' people like you would like I think."
Could you tell me what information you're looking for?

"Yes," she replies to the young dwarf. "Unfortunately sometimes the need arises to take another's life, but hopefully such deads will ultimately lead to a better life for those of us who lead more honourable lives".
She takes an interest in what the older dwarf has to say about life on the farm. She'd hoped he might know more about the wizard. "You don't know anything about him? Where he came from? Where he was going? Any rumours about what sort of person he is? What his reasons for travelling are?"
She hopes she doesn't sound like she's stalking him, just trying to gain a bit of information.

"Sorry, tha' description ya gave me was more 'n I 'ready knew." The man shakes his head, while the youngest brother continues looking as the sword. "Can I see it?" He eventually asks. The oldest of the two sisters has finally moved Alyanna into a semblance of a conversation, but it's not the best conversation, and she's beginning to lose interest in the Cleric. In the meantime, still frowning, the littlest of the children gets off her chair, comes closer to the dwarven hero and and begins examing his bears from a close distance. The child's little fingers move slightly, but she stays at a distance, apparently slightly intimidated by him.
The mother arrives, carrying a steaming pot of gruel, and another pot with some baked turnips. A simple meal if there ever was any. Her husband nods, and the oldest of the sisters moves to help her, finally losing interest in Alyanna, while the others appear to be transfixed, each by another adventurer. The father of the family has to help, too.
In the meantime, the door has opened and Theodorre, apparently unable to sleep due to his empty stomach, comes in. "Ah, there y'are!" the father explains, placing a few pewter plates and some spoons on the table. "Hunger kept ya up? Don' worry, there's..." he takes a look at the pot. "...more than 'nough fer everyone!"

"I see..." the ranger replies, disappointed at the lack of more information. When the young boy asks to see her sword, she looks to the boy's father for permission, thinking he may not approve of her drawing her weapon in the house, in the presence of children.

"Best not while we're eatin'." the father answers her unasked question, with a slight nod. The bowls are filled, for the family and for the adventurers, and everyone gathers around the table. There's not a lot of place, and because of the relatively large amount of guests, additional chairs have been quickly gathered. All simple in design, the new chairs are different and don't match with the ones that were already here. But that's nowhere near the variety of bowls and cutlery that have been found to ensure everyone has something to eat from. The younger son, while disappointed, seems to have been quite hungry. Between two bites, interrupting something his older brother was planning to say, he asks, "So, what have you killed with it?" This is a sharp contrast to the youngest sister who, while having a bowl, food, and all implements needed to feed, is still focusing more on the dwarf's beard than on her food. "Why are your beards so long?" She asks, finally joining the conversation.

"Truth be told, my young friend, the bow is my weapon of choice. Our most recent victim was a golem," the half-elf explains a glisten in her eye a devious smile beginning to spread across her face. "A vile creature made up of parts salvaged from other creatures. But we can't have you children having nightmares, now can we?" she adds clearing her throat and giving reassuring glances to the father and younger children. Taliea eats the warm stew slowly, savouring it and making sure to give her compliments to the chef and thank the family for their hospitality.

Alyana listens to the conversation in silence. It seems that there is a lot on the cleric mind as usual. Happiness and Joie de Vivre are definitibvely two marks of characters she is missing. She knows that she has to keep the Silver Raven at bay, that nasty personality she incurred after one of her traumas. She eats little, listening and wishing for finally a night without dreams nor nightmares.

After the nourishing meal, which is simple, but quite good, the children wish everyone good night, and head to bed. The youngest of the two brothers throws a last, longing look at the adventurers' weaponry, but under the stern look of his mother, heads out, too. The hosts stay, and carry on the idle conversation as it gets later and sleep starts to make its way into the adventurers' minds and bodies, making their eyelids heavy.

Alyana wishes everyone a good night and go to sleep in the hay. She is far from the silk sheets she dreamed about when she started adventuring. She never got the riches or the fame but she got more than that. She got life long friends. On this positive note, she finally falls asleep.

Taliea too wishes everyone a good a night and pleasant dreams. She's had less bedding than hay before and knows a roof over her head is not to be taken for granted. Curling up to keep herself warm she drifts into a sleep dreaming of forests and starry skies.

The adventurers' hosts go to bed, too, and soon, there's not a sound in the entire area... save for Barendd's mighty snoring. Our heroes rest, before what promises to be another hard day, sleeping and seeing mostly pleasant dreams. They are woken up quite early by a noise coming from outside, the crowing of a rooster. The first rays of the sun to pass over the eastern horizon illuminate the trees they can see through the open doors. The origin of the noise that woke the adventurers up so suddenly is unclear, but, judging by how loud it is, the culprit must be close.

Alyana gets up feeling refreshed, having the divine magic of Corellon LArethian with her. She goes outside to check the commotion as she tries to remmeber why they came here in the first place.
