Noda has disappearance period when he forgets to check thesite. As a college sutdent, we can all understand why that would happen.

Sorry, sorry. Not college this time, making a character for a different game and dropping off the face of the internet for a day or two. I also don't always check during the weekends, trying to do so now, since the multi-DM game goes on weekends too.
I didn't see the +1 shortbow in the loot list, Augustine doesn't want to keep that.
It is probably too late now, but in the future, I think the minimum bid value ought to be what we can sell it for. For example, the ring of protection, we can only sell for 1500, so bidding would start there. Especially if it is something that the village sells, it could be cheaper to pass up an item on auction and buy it from them, rather than paying more than normal buying price. Especially since when we help the towns out, they tend to give us better prices.
Augustine will bid on:
Mithral Breastplate (4300)
Masterwork longsword (315), from the loot thread it looks like that got sold, can we undo that? He was carrying it around until loot-splitting time, and it is better than his current sword, at least.
Other than that, he wants his share in money.

I also don't always check during the weekends, trying to do so now, since the multi-DM game goes on weekends too. when i'm DM i don't expect people to post at weekends or even daily, just now and then ;D tell if you'll be away and i'll NPC you. the multiDM game is for a spot of fun, not to be an onerous chore It is probably too late now, but in the future, I think the minimum bid value ought to be what we can sell it for. yes i agree with you. i only realised this after i started the auction house and ive had my hands full over the last few weeks so decided not to go back in and make a big deal as everyone was bidding on the same %, but i guess it's pretty easy to incorporate that even now (although must point out Odlin is at an advantage as he has to spend even less to get the items he wants) |

Oh to answer your question. He was happy wearing the mithril breastplate. But Augustine needs to wear it while he hides behind cover to fire his arrows. So if he needs it that badly, ryx gave it to him.
