The golem hit not only seriously injures Alyana but it also waste her spell. "Could this be the end? In a cold frigid land, away from my beloved Misty Woods?"
With difficulty speaking she says "Barrend, we delayed has much as we could. It is time to see if we can live to fight another day. Dying here will not slow that thing at all."
She makes it accross the bridge as much as she can.
M: Double move on the bridge.

Kerzeme stops the sled, leaving it where it is, and raises his hands, turning around. "Let's burn hi- Hmmm. Well, let's hurt him a little!" Kerzeme decides not to surround everyone but himself in a sphere of fire. Instead, magic energy seems to drip off his lazily raised fingers like water off wet hands, gathering into three large spheres, which he launches towards the creature. "Dodge my fireballs eh?"

Barrend backs across the bridge, moving slowly so as not to trip and fall. He tries to tell how much farther across he could be while still being able to strike the damaged area, if it hasn't been weakened enough already.
Full action: withdraw at half speed, move 30 feet across the bridge.

Kurt rips his glaive across the golem's chest leaving nothing but an angry red weal tht quickly fades. "Go!" he shouts at his comrades.
Bolts of magic zip past the haf-orc to thud in to the monster but Kerzeme realises that they have no discernible effect. The sorceror still has another 10 feet left to cross before he and the dog sled's cargo are safe.
Alyanna and Barennd withdraw away from the golem but it strikes out at the elfwoman almost taking her head off her shoulders.
Taliea jumps on the sled and tries to get the dogs to reach the other side. It doesn't take much coaxing to finally get the sled to inch safely across the span.
Only Kurt and the golem are left on the other side of the bridge. The creature turns it attention to the nearby Kurt and unleashes a flurry of blows. The big thick arm makes to slam the rogue while the smaller arm attempts to rip quickly at his throat. Somehow the half-orc manages to dance between the deadly limbs unhurt!

Alyana completes crossing the bridge and move a little inland (5 feet). She yells at Kurt "Come back you dumb witted orc! Don't make me get you! You know I will kill you if you die!"
Deep inside she thinks "don't do this Kurt! Don't die for us! I cannot loose you, now that I found myself again"
M: Cross 10 feet of bridge then 5 A: Yells at Kurt

Kerzeme moves the animals further, and, turning back, fires another set of magic missiles at the creature, this time a not especially empowered one.

As Kerzeme and the sled get closer to the end of the bridge, Theodorre whistles and calls for the dogs, trying to help the wizard get the dogteam as far as he can. But, as the team gets closer, Theo runs alongside them still coaxing, with an outstretched hand, snapping his fingers. Everything seemed fine until the lead dog snaps at his hand, causing the wizard to jump back and almost lose his balance.

Kurt sommersaults backwards then slithers between the golem's deadly attacks making his way on to the narrow bridge. Some might think it strange for the burly brute to be so graceful and almost artistic in his movements. The rogue gets ALL the way across the bridge. Barendd and Alyanna continue to cross across the bridge and get to the far side too.
Kerzeme's attacks fail to hurt the golem again.
As the monster lumbers on to the bridge it moves slowly, trying to make sure it doesn't fall off. The first few steps cause a faint groaning from the supports but it keeps coming putting one outsized foot in front of the other. It is half way across but the bridge seems to be standing.
Kurt looks concerned "I think it's going to get across! we haven't done enough to weaken the bridge!"
golem is 15ft across bridge everyone else is on the other side Barendd 72hp+12temp-69damage. rage 8/8 Alyanna 50hp-38damage

Barendd's rage comes to an end and he gulps in lungfuls of air. Before the others can act Kurt throws a smile at Alyanna "Be reborn priestess! Find a purpose"
He lowers his glaive and dashes on to the bridge letting the rage build in his veins. Roaring with might he tumbles between the golem's arms again until he reaches the weak spot. With bulging triceps he smashes his glaive in to the stonework.
As the span jerks downwards the rogue keeps his footing and makes to jump for the near end. However time has slipped away from the plucky adventurer and he tumbles in to the abyss along with the golem in a cloud of ice and stones...

For a while, Kerzeme stands there just staring stupidly, trying to understand what just happened. Then, as it begins to dawn while the cloud of debris and dust dissipates, he hmmms and states that "That's unpleasant." Getting off the sled and carefully approaching the edge, he peers down into the abyss. "That was pretty stupid of him, wasn't it? So... how are we going to get back now?" The colourfully dressed sorcerer turns around and heads for their cargo again. Above the place where Kurt heroically took their enemy with him, Limji circles, peering down into the darkness, slowly and mournfully beating its black wings.

Theodorre looks over the edge, can't help but feel as though he is at fault. Wondering if Kurt hadn't quit damaging the bridge on Theo's account, maybe he wouldn't have had to go back out and finish the job.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Alyana's scream shreds the snowy silence into pieces. She kneels and look and the precipice, tears flowing down her cheeks. "WHY? WHY KURT? WHY DID YOU DO THIS?" She sobs as she lost the only true friend she even had. Her vision is blurred because of her tears and she is looking for a piece of Kurt she could use to bring him back. She has heard that very powerful cleric can revive the dead for a large sum of money.
When Kerzeme mentions Kurt and stupid, she punches him in the face. "DON"T YOU EVER CALL HIM STUPID! HE SACRIFICED HIS LIFE FOR YOU! DON"T YOU EVER TARNISH HIS MEMORY"
She goes back to the edge, looking down, hoping agasint hop that Kurt somehow survived.

Taliea silently embraces Alyana as she is clearly the most distressed of the group. The Ranger does not know what to say to comfort the elf, but she simply reflects on the events of the past few minutes, it seems they couldn't have taken down the golem but the half-orc gave his life for his comrades. Truly the most honourable half-orc I have ever come across, or am likely to come across she thinks to herself as a pain of guilt sears through her and tears flow silently down her cheeks. She tightens her embrace on Alyana, realising it is to comfort herself as much as her comrade.

Kerzeme gets up, spitting blood on the snow. His copies repeat the motion, and slowly wipes the blood out of his mustache. "Crazy woman..." First, he considers just burning her... But then he slowly backs away with a cruel smile, until he is behind everyone else. Then, makes a few movements, and a voice calls out from the depths, much like Kurt's, "Heeeelp meeee.... Heeeeelp meeee...."
Nice reaction. I'm sure he deserved that.
After moving back to a point where no-one can see Kerzeme as far as he can tell, if there is such a point within the spell's range of 40 feet.
Cast Silent spell: Ghost Sound.
What do I roll to impersonate his voice?

The group mourn the loss of their comrade before heading onwards with the dog sled.
Their journey finishes at the tower of Lorran Brightsprocket. The edifice looks cold and dark, a lifeless husk with a golem shaped hole on one side of a large block shaped building connected to the central spire. The roof is charred and the upper windows soot stained.
On closer examination, one of the tower windows on the third floor* has a faint light flickering balefully against the encroaching darkness of night and its cold frosty embrace.
for our american cousins, the fourth floor.
