Barrend spits blood and a tooth onto the snow, but knows the bridge is close at hand. "Alyana" he mumbles, mouth not in proper working order, "I need your help, keep me up long enough t' get away from this thing." Just a few more yards, he thinks, and then it wouldn't matter if the dogs realize what an not a very nice person they are following.
He continues holding the golem off in a fighting retreat, noticing that it seems perfectly content to attack him rather than go directly for the crate.
Keep up with the sled. If there is a left-over action, total defense, AC would go to 21.
AoOs: trips, touch 1d20+13, check 1d20+15, free attack 1d20+13, free attack damage 2d6+10.
If Achinca doesn't post again, could Alyana heal Barrend with whatever the biggest heal she has would be? sure! Unless Ilya has bad luck with the dice for a few rounds, we should be able to make it to and partway across the bridge. Hopefully by that point, it won't need to get hacked at more to stop the golem from crossing.

The dogs keep moving, albeit not very rapidly, under Kerzeme's commands. The sorcerer looks over his shoulder with worry from time to time.

"Bad luck with the dice"? Yeah. That's definitely going to happen. You can bet on that.

Unfortunetly, no cunning plan formulates in the wizard's mind. Instead, Theo lets Kurt continue his work as he, the wizard, watches his comrades scramble for help.

Alyanna hops off the sled and summons her divine power to heal the large dwarf. Kurt looks at the silent Theo as the wizard passes. "I don't understand what you want. Did you want me to stop? Or do you want me to continue weakening the bridge?"

Barennd retreats along with the sled but the golem strikes him hard causing ribs to crack and skin to tear (17 damage). Alyanna then steps off the sled and heals him (16 hp). As the golem approaches, the dwarf attempts to trip it. The golem goes down and the polearm rips a small scar across its back (17damage rolled but most absorbed by damage reduction). As the olem tries to get up, the very irate dwarf brings it to its knees again and then slices it once more (20 damage, about half gets through)
Barendd thinks the dieties of luck are perhaps on his side this round.

Kerzeme interrupts the commands, suggestions, pleas, and offers he is giving to the dogs to keep them moving to shout to Kurt, "Are you trying to get us killed?" He interprets his hacking at the bridge as nothing else than trying to prevent the Golem get to those on the other side and sacrifice the sorcerer himself. And maybe others on this side. Were there others? The Maitre doesn't really care anyway.

Alyana stands next to Barrend (or wil move with him). "Dwarf, one of your kind left me for dead and make me the crazed woman I became. Meeting Kurt was the road to redemption and I find it ironic that your sacrifice combined with mine has finally brought peace back to me. As we die side by side, I can finally say good bye to The Silver Raven. Alyana is back and will do down in flames now that I know that Kurt is safe."
She lift her silver hly symbol and uses Corellon Larethian magic to heal the damaged dwarf. "This is the most potent spell I have left. It was great knowing you and you made your clan proud."
A: Cast Cure Serious Woud on Barrend (spontaneous casting - drop purge invisibility): 3d8 + 6 = 3 + 6 + 4 + 6 = 19 HP healed M: 30F is the dwarf moves.

As if in answer to the half orc's question, Theodorre pulls out his wand and fires it at the spot where Kurt had been attacking, allowing the acid to eat anything in it's path.
move: pull acid arrow wand back out standard: activate wand towards bridge (so that NONE splashes on kurt or himself)
Conjuration (Creation) [Acid] Level: Sor/Wiz 2 Components: V, S, M, F Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level) Effect: One arrow of acid Duration: 1 round + 1 round per three levels Saving Throw: None Spell Resistance: No
A magical arrow of acid springs from your hand and speeds to its target. You must succeed on a ranged touch attack to hit your target. The arrow deals 2d4 points of acid damage with no splash damage. For every three caster levels (to a maximum of 18th), the acid, unless somehow neutralized, lasts for another round, dealing another 2d4 points of damage in that round.

Barrend backs up another 30 feet, staying on the defensive. Looking behind him while the golem is down, he sees Kerzeme make it to the edge of the bridge. "Almost there," he says to Alyana, "Kerzeme gets to where Kurt is, we run. Save yer death speech for later, yer makin' it out of this."When the golem comes, he continues to hit it low, his first swing doesn't even knock it off balance, but his second is a bit better, and he hopes that he managed to strike while it was mid-stride and off-balance.

The adventurers withdraw from the fallen golem. Taliea strikes the creature between its eyes but the arrow skips off the tough flesh without leaving much of a mark.
The escape over the bridge is close at hand and Kerzeme and the sled reach its safety but they have still to get across.
The acid from the wand does no noticeable damage to the magical stonework of the bridge. Kurt swings with all his might and a little chip appears again, making the cracks spread further.
The golem gets up on to its feet and charges with anger burning in its mismatched eyes. Barennd's polearm strikes it but the mighty monster manages to avoid succumbing to the attack. It slams the enlarged dwarf again, landing a heavy blow.

Matching her movement with Barrend, Alyana would rather die that abandon a companion to death. Strong with the power of Corellon Larethian and Good, her elven features glow a certain beauty. She is finally at peace with herself as she knows that she has finally conquered her demons. At least temporarily. She got brutally used and abused after a dwarf abandoned her and here she is, about to die to save a dwarf. She finally found in her heart forgiveness and with forgiveness came redemption.
She puts her hand on Barrends back "Sorry friend but my magic is slowly but surely weakening."
A: Drop Augury and spontaneous cast CMW = 2d8 + 6 = 5 + 2 + 6 = 13 (sorry - bad rolls) M: Will move with Barrend pace

Barrend retreats to the bridge, casting a glance over his shoulder at Kurt. "How much more 'til it breaks?" he asks, gauging the distance to the cracking masonry. When the golem approaches, his first strike merely glances off of it, but his second is fueled by desperation, and strikes much more solidly.

Kerzeme tries to gently coax the dog sled across the bridge and against the increasing odds he manages to move the sled towards Kurt. The span lurches slightly as it shifts. Kurt calls back to Barendd that now might be a good time to escape as he jumps on to the front of the sled then tumbles over to the other side drawing his glaive in a swift fluid movement.
Alyanna tries to heal the dwarf but the golem angrily swats at her, causing the magic to disperse before it can act. "Yarjaarrzch!", screams the hideous creature.
The rearguard manage to withdraw to the bridge and prepare to hold off the monster but as the monster approaches the dwarf fails to tip it on to its ugly face. It charges barendd and strikes a forceful slam that, although it breaks through the warrior's defences, is turned aside at the last moment - testament to the barbarian's years of combat experience.
