Theodorre continues to run towards the bridge, hoping to get there before the orc destroys it. "Stop, you mangy pig." he says under his breath.

Alyana starts running, realizing that Corellon Larethian will not let her cast a spontaneous Summor Monster spell. She keeps running, checking the distance to the mnster, knowing that if someone must be sacrificed to save the group, she is the most logical candidate.

Taliea, simultaneously fuming but also puzzled as to why Kurt would do such a thing. Trying to keep her emotions in check, she calls to him, "Kurt, what in the Gods' names are you doing?" She begins to cross the bridge, treading carefully.
Full Round: Move at half speed - 15 feet onto the bridge.

The powerful golem lurches easily through the snow. Its impatience begins to show across its twisted and gruesome face and it looks like it could easily pick up its pace.
Kurt slows down to throw the ranger a confused look as if she had made an inappropriate remark such as asking the rogue to join her for a picnic. Theo's words are lost to the gusting winds.
The half-orc takes a brief respite and shouts over the howling winds lashing across the span. "It is plain to see that the magic in this bridge has helped it survive such a harsh environment for a very long time. Testament to its builders' prowess. I'd wager it can easily take the weight of the dog sled.. and maybe something much, much bigger too. Maybe we should adjust its specifications! But it is hard work, again proving how strong this crossing is."

Kerzeme notices what Kurt is doing in the distance, "You break that bridge and I'll roast you before this thing can get me!" the sorcerer shouts. He would probably roast him already, if trying to keep the animals (not very successfully) moving wouldn't occupy all of his time.

Much closer to the bridge now, Theodorre hears the reasoning Kurt gives Taliea. The wizard quickly shuffles forward, placing his wand in the inside folds of his cloak. Once at the edge of the cliff and the bridge, Theo looks at it's construction, and can't help but wonder, if it's destroyed how will we get back to this side?. He then grabs hold of either side and slowly carefully starts across.

When the dogs stop moving completely, Barrend stops as well, looking between the sled and the golem. "Oh... crap."He pops the cork out of the potion he has been carrying, and swallows the contents, growing larger, and he gets a firm grip on his guisarme, eyeing the oncoming golem. "I can trip it. I have to trip it." He roars "Get those dogs moving!", and lets the rage come to him. When the golem comes close enough for him to hit it, he swings at its legs, trying to knock it to the ground long enough for Kerzeme to get the dogs to run.
S: take potion M: none (unless it takes a full round to uncork the potion and drink it) When the creature provokes an AoO (probably moving from 20ft to 15, with Barrend's increased reach), Barrend will attempt a trip attack on the golem. touch attack: 1d20+13=21trip attempt (if touch attack is successful): 1d20+15=30Whew, lucky there. On the off-chance that doesn't work, if it provokes another AoO, he'll do it again. 1d20+13=221d20+15=16Well, lets hope the first time worked. If he has to roll to resist being tripped, his modifier is +23 If the golem falls, he will hit it while it is down with the free attack granted by improved trip. 1d20+13=172d6+10=16Could we get a better description of the golem? How many legs, heads, hands, that sort of thing.

The dogs panic and Kerzeme is unable to make them move towards the bridge. Seizing the momentum, the golem rushes at the sled as Barendd readies to attack the monstrosity.
The creature shrugs off the dwarf's attempt and keeps coming, swinging at the biggest target it can reach. It lands a shattering blow against the Barendd with its meaty club-like arm.
Kurt keeps attacking the bridge as another little crack appears.

Getting closer to the half-orc, Theo asks as he walks, "If the bridge is destroyed. how do we get back?"
The wizard looks back over his shoulder to see the goliaths battling each other, not knowing how he can help.

Without even as much as a look at Barennd, Kerzeme tries to get out of here, together with the sled. However, it's not going very quickly.

Not knowing an answer to give the brute, Theodorre remains quiet. Getting ready to pass Kurt on the bridge to get to the other side, the thought of the bridge collapsing to soon and stranding Theo on the other side by himself, doesn't bode well for the wizard, so he stays put. He turns to watch the others hoping Alyana and Kerzeme can get to safety, realizing Barrend may be sacrificing himself for the rest to get away.
How long and wide is the bridge? what is it made of, stone, rope, wood?? you will find most of that information in earlier DM posts. the bridge is 10ft wide

Regaining control of the animals, Kerzeme urges them to move forward, away from the golem that's chasing them. His copies mimic his motions. And, surprisingly, they do move.

As the enlarged and enraged dwarf keeps up with the sled, the golem fails to impede the fleeing humanoids. Angrily it charges at the retreating figures. Barendd hits it as the horror approaches but fails to bring the monster down. It gets to the dwarf and swings with a mighty forearm smash causing crimson splashes to dot the landscape. Kurt waits for understanding assuming that the wizard's silence is a sign of the other formulating a cunning plan.
Kurt is an NPC and easily over-ruled by a PC and is now waiting for instructions. people can go past him to the other side (if they wish) or help him.
