Kerzeme has hit the nail on the head; you have a better chance escaping over the bridge but you need to either run faster or find a way to slow it down. i wouldn't like to be anyone left on this side of the bridge stuck there with that 'thing' but do not fear as kurt has a plan...

Taliea has sleep arrows. Maybe she can send it to sleep?

Does anyone have an ice-based spell? Maybe it would be slowed down if someone fireballed the ground it was standing on, and then flash-froze the water resulting from the snow. Not much, but it might at least need to take the time to break itself out.
Or, if it were possible to blank out whatever sort of tracing it has going on the cargo, Kerzeme has 5 clones that could all fake carrying the jars, although I doubt putting himself at risk like that would be in character.
Cal, is it a cunning plan?

is it cunning enough to pin a bushy tail to it and make it professer foxworthy, dean of cunning at cambridge?
whatever you do, you probably want to get to the bridge before it does. the bridge looks designed for medium or large sized creatures and this one is huge.
btw, a bit of free info; Kurt seems bulkier than usual.

Well, I guess its my turn to post something about the next game. Howdy Magus. If Magus does DM the next game, is it just for a few encounters like what we have been doing? or would it be for the adventure you guys are talking about? A ravenloft adventure always sounds like fun. But, it sounds like some have been through parts already and some haven't a clue about it, me. And lastly, would Magus have his own character he can NPC, and later play as a regular player character. Now could anyone possibly give me a little info on that adventure please?

As to the questions posed, I can answer them.
My turn will be like the short encounters previously posed. It will not be the Ravenloft adventure in question, as that will take too long in my opinion and is better served as a separate game. I have not posted anything thus far on it as I had not wished to detract from the current scenario; I've also been smoothing out mechanics on a few things to my preference and solidifying my presentation.
I recognize that I could/can have a DM NPC that becomes a regular player character, but prefer not to at this time, mostly since I would rather focus on just being the storyteller and staging crew for you folks.
Since I'm apparently killing folks in suspense over this, I'll be posting up details for whoever is interested. -wry smile- Hopefully I won't derail the attention on Cal's adventure, which has been an interesting read ^_^

Hmmm, well, I guess I will be the one to ask the next logical question. If the Ravenloft adventure should be run as a seperate game, the only other question i can think of, is how do you feel about runing it, Magus?

If the Ravenloft adventure should be run as a seperate game, the only other question i can think of, is how do you feel about runing it, Magus? If you want a Ravenloft game then perhaps you should make some enquires in the UP & COMING GAMES section of the site which can be found here; fantasticlands.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=adsif there are enough members interested then maybe you can then sort out a DM. it might also attract interest from casual visitors to the site. this OOC thread really should be limited to the multiDM game also as it will be several weeks before my mini-game is finished, then it seems reasonable to hold off with any more questions until Magus is ready to reveal what is being planned.
