Hi Guys Thanks for taking initiative and getting something new running! It brings much joy to my heart. As you can see I've set up with boards for your game, let me know if you want to add/change anything. Also, I haven't assigned a moderator for the game as you're taking turns being DM. I can assign someone if you wish it, otherwise I'm happy to moderate. I will be checking in more often so feel free to PM me with anything you want or need. I may even take Puff up on his offer for a turn at DMing. I'll have a read of the game over the weekend and maybe I will submit a character soon \o/ All the best She-Elf

Well it would be nice to have back in a game she-elf. We missed you.

I may be missing something, but I don't understand quite what this is, I have looked all over this section and the want to be a DM section, but haven't seen a description of what this is.

With no games going on thru the holidays, I was dying to post. Cal or Ilya , or both, Suggested we take turns DMing . I'm first , running a small scenerio with one two or three encounters, then Someone else will be DM, and so on and so on. Each DM can NPC his/her own char. This way we have another game to play in. And get to experience different DM styles.

Okay. So what are the character building rules and setting?

6th level 32 point buy starting gold 13,000 standard classes and races, a little something diff is ok, key word little, I dont wanna get real radical with classes. setting ?, well there is no certain setting. Whatever you want it to be when your DMing, right now they find themselves in a small town, heading out on a small excursion. Cal thinks he might have a colder climate in his I think he said. I already have ideas for my second game, it'll be in the mountains. They're all small campaigns and each setting can be different. I hope that helps

yup, that sounds like the long and short of it.
we'll assume that the heroes "just happen to be about" when adventure starts, so one DM can set his game in a one location and the other DM can use a different location. may be reasonable that its a generic D&D world using the greyhawk pantheons.
it'll give everyone a shot at being behind the DM screen and provide a bit of extra entertainment. it might also be a proving ground for new members to see what we're about before they commit to a bigger game like achinca's

Q: would everyone be okay with she-elf appointing me moderator for the multi-DM game? i know she'll be about more often but may be an idea for one of us to be a mod too

I think we should limit to the SRD to keep it simple.
My small adventure is a murder mystery in a city.
Think of it as the Adventures of the 4 amigos. A series of book were the geographical continuity from one book to next is not necessarily critical.

I've got another analogy. This is one of those adventures that start like a joke: So a guy walks into a bar...
Yes, I would be okay with Cal modding.
Now, before posting my character sheet, I wanted to check if you think a Rogue/Barbarian, a Wizard, a Cleric and my Sorcerer is a balanced team. Because I could adapt the character if it is necessary.

I'm ok with you being mod, cal. yeah, i'm hoping both she elf and noda play. If they do a wizard and a sorceror would be great

A note on posting in my game(s). I ask a minimum 1/day. As you can see I'm a poster. A thought in my char's head or action in a bar, if I can make it interesting I'll post, especially talking amongst eachother. Now I also move the game along. For example, we're about 2-3 miles into the woods now, if someone has something to say back by the dogs where Theo jumped, just write at the beginning of the paragragh 'Back in the back yard by the dog's fence,' then finish your post up with back to where we're at. I would love to read the other's thoughts on anything and everything, the dogs, the smokehouse, Theo being well.... theo.

I am okay with Cal as a Mod. OOC: Puff, I think that the side elements like Jake's meat or dogs is a fantastic thing to make the game unique and entertaining. I am also fond of your Theo as I am a big fan of the Pink Panther. Bare with Alyana as she is working through her past. Reuniting with Kurt has done her an incredible amount of good.
