i don't think this conversation should be in the OOC thread. i think DM should send a private message to the player accordingly.
(1) we all have different DM styles (that's what make DnD so great) and I personally accept the whim of the active DM. if one DM didnt allow something, i dont see why another DM might not be more accomodating on their shift.
remember this is for fun but we should all respect the dude in the driving seat (the DM)
(2) there is more than one character sheet that is incomplete. i think we should be cutting some slack.

I never trust myself to be fully accurate. builds were never my forte.
Also, given that we are level 6, we get +1 to a characteristic in addition to the 32 point buy. Is this correct?

i used max at level 1 then 75% of hit dice-rolls for every level afterwards. nobody seems to have been upset by that.
we havent made any firm agreements on standards so nobody can be blamed for not conforming. as long as the DM is happy to have characters along then it should be cool.
personally, i dont think that min-maxing the characters is that important as this game seems to be more about role-playing than actually beating stufff up
