Puff, it was actually goblins but she hates all evil monster races. As well as betrayal. And violence towards innocents and women. These are triggers. Hey who knew that Theo was a therapist in training. IF he wants her to open up to him, he needs to make her whole.

my definition of coward doesn't include noble heroes choosing when to fight and when to withdraw. many a great battle has been won when the victory chose to fight on his terms, not the enemy's.
plus it makes no sense to fight Jake, for all we know he's mind controlled by an illithid.
however, it is a game and i'll play along wherever this plot takes us.

So we could go for the retreat, have a long range battle while we try to figure out how many enemies there are in the tavern. Does anyone have a familiar that could sneak in undetected and scout it out? Or some sort of spell to detect people? Even an invisibility and good move silently score could work, unless they have see invisibility.
If we do a long range battle, I suggest anyone throwing fireballs shoots and scoots, because the fireball bead might be visible, and it would be a good thing to avoid telling the enemy mages where we are. Barrend doesn't like that toasty feeling he has right now.

please dont wait to long to post, I messed up and slowed the game a day. Try not to stray too far from your posts. I do expect that someone will want to help our fallen sorceror. Don't freak out, there isnt a hundred orcs in the tavern. We're in a town, although on the outskirt, one of the last buildings on this street before the woods. So remember, at some point, some type of authority figure could show up, and I donn't know if that would benefit you or not bahah hha ahah aha
Oh yeah, the fence from the woods to the smokehouse to the tavern is a 6' pivacy fence. Will take time to get over.

If the bat can not be seen, that works. Otherwise it might end up toasted.

Just a quick note. Ya'll have surprised Jake and his followers. He was expecting Theo, Kerzeme, Kurt and Alyana. He wasn't expecting a dwarf, who likes to enlarge, and Taliea, the ranger who's fave enemies are animals. I can hear the squirrels now, "Oh no, there's Taliea. We better help her or she'll KILL us!!!!" So if ya'll wait til night time, then that's gonna give one of them time to sneak out and get allies !!!

I assumed we are all healed, with a nights rest and some healing from Alyana. Alyana didn't cast many spells during the fight with the orcs and ogres, I don't think. Maybe Alain could remember how many. That may be enough to heal us, then a nights rest. Then she can get new spells for this day. If that ISN'T enough to heal us, she will have to finish this morning and will be short a couple spells.
OR, maybe Cal is unhappy and wants to kill off Kurt
Now the fence is a privacy fence. Slats are close together and construction is very sturdy. After a very quick discussion, Barrend can find out the fence wasn't there a few days ago, recent construction is evident. Theo reminds that Jake didn't want us to go thru his back yard But they did and know the layout, the fence prob continues to the tavern, and thats it. No there is no fence around the town.

Everyone is healed to full hit points. Just an oversight. Read my explanation in OOC, and can we continue this in OOC, and erase any posts that aren't part of the game, or move them to OOC Thanks
