So, that sounds like a yes to me, that's good. It would be a pain to have to rebuild the character, since combat reflexes is very important (I get it from wolf totem instead of the dodges and trap sense). I also like She-elf's idea (and I think it was suggested in the house rules as well) of things being allowed by vote. I wouldn't have much more that I really would want to add eventually, but it would be nice to have the option.

Stability is a dwarf trait, it gives +4 to being bull rushed or tripped. Stability is also an earth race trait, and it explicitly states that it stacks if you get it from two sources. So I get +8 against being tripped, on top of my normal trip bonuses.

Regarding the Silver Raven, do not worry about her gory and black and white approach to things. I know what this site is a family site so no need to worry.
Puff, remember her from Akechi game?

let's not fight the bad guys in this open kill zone, we'll have a much better advantage way back in to the trees.

well I cannot change Alyana's action plus it fits her character. I guess if Kurt does not follow her inside she will take down Jake then go lay against the wall of the inn. Anyone coming out will potentially get hit by a mace.

As I understand it, the attacks are coming from the tavern. This round, Barrend is in one place while he drinks his potion, and he'll hopefully get the dogs as they come for us. Some of us could go left, around the smoke house for cover, while the ones like Kurt and Barrend that are standing their ground for this round could run up to the tavern next round. Kerzeme's fireball means we can wait while they get smoked out.
From the back row of us to the tavern wall, it is 80 feet, which means Kurt could make it in a double move, and Barrend could make it in a run. They will have a hard time hitting us with arrows (impossible if there is some sort of roof over the front), and a fireball would have to be carefully aimed to avoid the spread going into the tavern, since it turns corners.

You guys are missing the point
we dont know what we are getting in to. the sound tactical manoeuvre would be to withdraw, find out what we're up against and then come back in the night and slit their throats.
for all we know there's a legion of orcs in the tavern.
if jake and his bitches follow us in to the trees then we can easily butcher them then finish off the rest at our leisure.
the other tactical advice on assualting the tavern are all sound but ask yourself this; "do we need to ambush the tavern now? or when we have the element of surprise?"
Next round Kurt is going to withdraw

Cal, this planned strategic move would make sense for someone who is not as anger driven as The Silver Raven is. In her eyes, Jake has wronged her and he will pay with his life. She will retreat only if things start to look bleak.
As I said, it might not be the smartest thing to do but you are not dealing with a very rational person at the moment. If Alyana can resurface, may be her action will be more strategically logical.

Yes, she has. Kerzeme will hide in the woods and continue trying to do damage to Jake's home. And possibly fry the one who shot them with a fireball alive.

Cal, did you read my post in game about ALyana? Yes she has split. It is a result of what has happened to her in the sunless citadel.
Now I hope that over our adventures, we can get her to become one again. The reason The Silver Raven stayed down for so long is because she met Kurt again. However, the betrayal by Jake triggered her.

Ahhh the poor Silver Raven. OOps I mean poor Alyana, Silver Raven is the tough one. Yes She had quite an ordeal being the orc's prisoner and play thing. Theo got hit with a fireball, Kerzeme got hit with two arrows. And amd I seeing things, is that Kurt that called for a retreat, what will the song verses say about that, hehe
