Ryxikor helps in the search. But first he decides to check out the bows the skeletons were using. He grabs up the three bows plus the quivers of arrows, laying them down he inspects the quality of workmanship on them. He then turns his attention on the arrows. Afterwards the rogue helps search the rest of the room.

Odlin wonders if such an unusual room might have a secret door but doesn't concern himself with looking for one. The wounds he acquired hurt a little but his determination to find Jukia helps him ignore the distraction.
As he fellows search the room, he keep a watch down the corridor where the skeletons came from. The darkness envelops him, reminding him of childhood games in abandoned mining tunnels...

Stadvas check the three corpses on the table and they make no signs of coming back alive. His inspections of the zombies reveal that these were fresh reanimated bodies and he feel there is an air of resemblance between the two bodies. Ryxikor sees that the body at the bottom of the stair is one of a woman. He checks the skeletons and sees that they were using short bows. There a total of 18 arrows left, none of them flaming. Odlin explores the room more and sees a door at the end of the eastern wall. In the upper corridor, rows of vaults containing the prepared remains of the dead line the northern wall of this room. Five rows of three vaults start near the floor and ascend to near the ceiling. Most of the vaults remain sealed but a few were forcefully opened and searched. The vault doors each bear a number of engravings—names, holy symbols, family insignias, and simple decorations. Ryxikor, looking for anything out of the ordinary notices that the vault in the northwest corner has been nailed shut with pitons. Odlin and Stadvas confirm that the pitons that hold the door are quite new. They also notice some gaps big enough to let air into the vault. Suddenly the group hears knocking on that special vault door and a weak female voice saying “Help! Help! I have been trapped in by tomb robbers. Please free me. I beg you!”

Stadvas looks at the others, then at the bodies they have returned to death. Doubt fills his face. "Not tomb robbers..." he says. "They wouldn't get past those things. Something worse. By the way, those zombies look related and fresh. The family?" He puts his flail away, and rubs his hands. He is ready to try to open the vault and let loose whoever is locked in, but he waits for the others to give any their thoughts on the subject before he does anything.

After inspecting the three short bows, Ryxikor takes the one in the best condition. He then unstrings the other two bows and places the strings in his pouch, just in case. The elf looks to the two humans who seem to have plenty of arrows, so Ryx takes a quiver with the eighteen arrows, hoping the others didn't mind, but glad to be able to help out on longer ranged attacks. Feeling a bit burdened, the elf unshoulders his backpack. He proceeds to untie the three torches and lays them against the wall. He takes his newly purchased club, with a few bone fragments new aquired, and ties it to his backpack, figuring they might run into more skeletons in this mausoleum, and reshoulders his pack.
Walking up to the warrior near the vault door, he looks to the large man, "Yes, by all means, let her out."

"Go ahead," the archer nods, "Everyone else stay back, in case it is a trap." He nocks an arrow to his bow and readies himself, hoping that it isn't necessary.

Odlin begins to hammer the pitons out using his club, desperately tryiong to free the captive. His heart thumps in his chest, in case it is Jukia.
In his haste he still signals to Augustine to watch the door in the easdt wall, ready for unwelcome attention if the noises of freedom are too great

After seeing the human nock an arrow, Ryxikor does the same. He takes a couple steps away from the others (C7) so that he can watch the unopened door and the steps, and keeps gaurd with his newly acquired bow. Knowing Jukia was taken, he wonders if this could be her in the vault.

Augustine and Ryxikor nock an arrow, each one watching door and hallway to avoid another bad surprise.
Stadvas and Odlin start working hard on getting the pitons out. It is a tiring effort but the combine hit from the two men finally succeed in getting the pitons out.
As the door of the vault opens, a creature goes at the bottom of it. It waits for a few second and a female voice of a teenager says “You are not them. You are not these monsters.”
A young girl of 13 or 14 climbs out of the vault. She has a few bruises and cuts but does not look injured. She looks however quite shaken and traumatized. “Mom? Dad? Did they ……?" She looks at the zombies corpses and yells “ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”.
She crouches into a fetus position as she cries and suddenly she empties her bag of emotions “Mom, dad, we were preparing grand-pa for his proper burial. Then these men and monsters came in, grave robbers….. The leader was this strange man …. I could not see his face ….. he spokes funny ….. had trouble with S …… a young woman was there ….. she told me to run …. They hit her …. I hid in the vault …. They laughed as they sealed me in …. Saying to me not to be afraid as they would make sure my father and my grad-pa would be guarding me …. Evil tomb robbers …. AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH “
She stops talking and lays on the ground shacking and crying.

Odlin comforts the young girl
"There, there little one. The raiders have come and our home is no more. We must leave the sacred Dwarven hearth and make a new way in the world. Sorry, there was nothing we could do... nothing we could do."
the wizard seems wrapped in his own memories unable to grasp the truth of the present as he shares the anguish of loss with the teenager. He offers her some water and food and when she is ready, helps her to return to Kingsholm

Ryxikor tries to help comfort the child the best he can. He listens to the dwarf, but looks at him curiously as he hears some of what the dwarf says, Ryx doesn't seem to understand, hoping the dwarf isn't delusional.
As they see her safely back to Kingsholm, the elf plays a little tune on his flute. The tune is a song that has been sung to young elves for many years. Ryx thinks back and plays the best he can, having never played it before, he makes a few mistakes here and there and just laughs them off. When they make their way back to the mausoleum, the rogue has his bow and an arrow ready.
If they make their way back down in the mausoleum safely, Ryx listens to the door to try and hear anything. He then checks to see if its locked.

Odlin makes strange comments and Ryxikor is still not used to the dwarf alternate reality. The elf listens to the door on the east wall and hears nothing and sees that it is unlocked. However, the girl safety is more critical and the exploration of the mausoleum is temporarily suspended to take care of the victim.
The group helps bring back the catatonic and traumatized girl. The town is a ghost town except for Mia’s men patrolling the street. Stadvas can easily recognize that these fighters are not very good and would not stand much of a chance against the type of enemies they are against.
Mia sees them and help them bring the girl to the Coronet and Cabbage. They are joined by Phodor and Ian. Mia is furious “We have lost good people and good citizens to these tombs robbers. We will have to bury 2 of my sentinels and the Yurling girl, poor Tyra, is now an orphan.”
Phodor takes her arms to calm her down and looks at the other elder councilor, Ian. The innkeeper nods and opens his purse. He makes 4 piles of 50 gold pieces. “Here is your payment for finding out what has happened to the sentinels and the Yurling family. I wish your news would not be so dire. You are free to go if you wish. I would however, like to retain your service. Please find out why the tomb robbers have attacked our peaceful cemetery and help us bring them to justice, being the justice of a trial or the justice of your sword. We are not a rich village but I offer you 300 gold pieces if you can being back peace and safety to Kingsholm.”

Ryxikor gladly accepts his portion of the gold, with a light 'thanks'. Once they are finished, just before going back to the mausoleum, Ryx asks if he can sell his daggers, after the enlightenment from Odlin, on the damage from the silver one.

The wizard points out that a silvered dagger can be very useful in a fight against the right foe and perhaps his sale may be hasty.
The group take their money and agree to return to the tombs. "Our business is unfinished there and we will solve your riddle too"
When they get back to the prep room, Odlin prepares his club as Ryx listens at the door
