The little wizard takes satisfaction from his successful mastery of the necromantic arts and keeps a watch for newcomers descending from above.
Smite is a domain ability of clerics of St Cuthbert/Destruction Domain i think. (PHB186)

Stadvas decided to give this careful, but not extremely careful approach one more try before going to the most well-aimed and the least demolishing style he knows, at the same time worrying that he can't keep taking these blows, because Myriam's ability to heal is not infinite.
1d20+5-1 = 18+5-1 = 22 It was about time I hit something... Damage: 1d8+2

This big brute won't go down, the elf thinks to himself as he stands behind the large undead, an ideal position for someone with his stealth. Unfortunately, Ryxikor has realized his well placed attacks would do more damage to a living, breathing humanoid, not this moving dead. So, he settles into his rhythm of attacks, trying to kill this monstrosity before it kills Stadvas.
HP: 15 AC: 16 Full round action: both attacks 1st attack (plain): 1d20(16)+5+2(flanking)=23 2nd attack (silver): 1d20(14)+4+2(flanking)=20 damage: dagger 1d4, silver dagger 1d4-1 OOC: what is our light source, someone carrying a torch, torches in sconces on walls, a light spell out of no-where, or new energy saving light bulbs? DM EDit: You went down the ladder with a torch. During the battle you pass it around to the non fighting one. MAke sense?

Stadvas, along with starting to get very tired of the painful beating he is taking, starts increasing his chances of survival. He pulls a potion that is supposed to mend his bones similarly to how Myriam's magic has out from under his armor, wipes some blood -his own blood- from it and pours some of it trough his throat.
Standard action: Drink potion of CMW (2d8+3)
HP:8/29 (in other words, definitely not enough.) AC: 20

Starting to get worried for the fighter, Ryxikor happens to see him drink something right in the middle of battle. Miriam still seems to be helping the group in the fight. The elf has lost sight of the dwarf, and can't hear his crazy mumblings Hmm, probably off somewhere, thinking he's at a family picnic, he thinks to himself. Ryx desperately tries again to make good strikes at the beast before him, if only he had better weapons.
HP: 15 AC: 16
full round action: both attacks 1st attack (plain dagger): 1d20(5)+5+2(flanking)=12 2nd attack (silver dagger): 1d20(8)+4+2(flanking)=14

Revitalized only slightly by the valuable potion, Stadvas raises his sword once more and attacks the heap of undead flesh once more. Despite the reddish haze that is now firmly placed before his eyes, his swing is quite successful. "Die, by Kord!" He requests from it during the next swing.
Attack roll: 1d20+5-2+2=18+5-2+2=23 Right. I get flanking too. Yay. Hmmm... 18s are good. Damage roll: 1d8+3
HP: 14/29 AC: 20

Odlin watches with interest at the ensuing melee, strangely detached from the proceedings
i'll spend this round delaying so that i reset my initiative number to 20 NB: Stadvas keeps making powerful wild swings but although he remembers to subtract the penalty 'to hit' from his attacks, he seems very forgetful about adding the extra damage from successful power attacks! would the kind and noble DM be willing to add up this missing extra damage and apply it to the OZ? so far i count +2 points damage missed in total but every little helps! ;D DM Edit: 2HP taken out of OZ. I follows the damages dice to roll on the post. If more are missing let me know.PS: i thought from the prior posts that Ryx was planning on getting to H2 and therefore stad, mir and ryx are ALL FLANKING the ogre? as the map didn't show that the previous round i can understand why the player posted another move north. tactically i cant see any point in moving to G2 and perhaps the player can PM the DM to clarify the matter?DM Edit: To my understand, Ryxikor is in a position where everyone can flank but the guy on the stairsapologies for questioning the game twice in one post i'll shut up and behave now...
