Jukia looks at the group and they all can see fear in her eyes. “ Listen, you might have heard a thing or two about me in Barrow’s Edge. It is all blown out of proportion. I have never done that before, I mean killing and avenging and all. It is new to me. I wish I could help you more. All I knew is that I can conduct divine magic. I will heal you noble dwarf.” The nearly arrogant, sure of herself that met the group at the outside of Barrow’s Edge has been replaced by a frightened woman. She invokes her god and the small cuts on Odlin close and heal. She does the same thing to Augustine, healing him a little. “ This is it. All we have left is the wand and I do not know how many charges it has left.” The group closes the secret door and Big Bronk’s room door. Odlin picks up Cheese the weasel on the way to the curtain. Augustine opens the curtain. The room smells of incense and magic. Fetishes made with hair and bones decorate the walls and hang from the ceiling. The room contains a bed, a table and a chair. A hobgoblin skeleton and a hobgoblin zombie stand perfectly still to each side of the door. A staff, identical to the one you found on the dying goblin shaman near the dolmen. Augustine inspects the entrance and announces “The entrance space is trapped. It is a magical trap. I cannot disarm it. I am not sure what to do from here” Jukia is clinging to her holy symbol. “ I have been taught that I can affect these creatures in the room, but I have never tried it”. OOC: Odlin: cured 2HP – Currently at 7/7 Augustine: cured 2HP – Currently at 7/9
: OOC: Please indicate your action in detail and in what order e.g. Jukia enters the room only after Stadvas.”

Lowering his voice to a whisper, Stadvas suggests after a moment of consideration, "Can't we lure the ones in there out and hope one of them sets off the trap? We will both be rid of the trap and of an opponent." He then turns to Jukia and tries to give her some courage, with the words "We've played this game as good as the circumstances let us thus far... I'm sure we'll manage."
I'm not doing anything yet.

OOC: The trap is magical in nature i.e. unless it is disabled, it will reset itself.

"Hmm... The owner of the room would have to disarm the trap to enter, if we got the zombies to set it off, it would likely cause the controller to see what happened, then when he comes and disarms the trap, we go in before he can rearm it. Problem with that is he might set off an alarm, in which case we will have to run for it, unless we can defeat him and whatever other goblins want to fight.

Odlin smiles at the cleric when he is healed "Thank you." he says to offer comfort as well as express gratitude.
When the group find the room of the standing* dead, Odlin is intrigued before realising that the gruesome sight should be offending him.
"Well whoever did this has no qualms about making abominations from the dead, powerful goblinoids at that too."
The dwarf muses a little. "Well I can try and perhaps learn what type of magic we are dealing with here. Is it to harm or alarm? but I may need to come back at another date when I have prepared the proper cantrips.
Although, if it is an alarm, it could bring our quarry to us where we could prepare ourselves aforehand."
Odlin explains that they could enter the room if someone was willing to take the risk of an unknown trap. The reward could outweigh the suffering. With Jukia to hand, the undead threat was slightly diminished. The room may have clues about who had sway over the tribe and a religious fervour was just as good as another excuse to pin their mounting aggression on.
If the group wish to take the pain for the gain, he suggests Jukia turns the undead before a volunteer enters the room (he'll admit that dwarves are pretty hard fellows and will take up the task if no-one braver steps forward) thenthe others attack while Jukia stays where she is. In all likelihood, they will be going back to rest after this room knowledge arcana +5 first before we all do something [more] daft, sorry no Detect Magic in memory!

Jukia smiles at Stadvas comments and gently squeezes his arm to say a silent thank you.
Odlin look at the trap as exposed to him by Augustine. Although he cannot find out the source of the magic, he is pretty sure (but not certain) that it is a damage trap and not an alert trap. It looks to him that the trap was made to prevent people from entering that room.
Jukia slowly realizes that the plan will work only if she can harness enough divine magic to turn these undead monstruosities. She looks not confident at all. She starts to pace and then asks the group "If the trap located at the entrance space? If yes, could one of us jump over it? There must be important thing for someone to put a trap and undead guards." She shakes her head and says to no one in particular "life was easier pretending to be a tramp"

The dwarf thinks Jukia's plan has merit but wishes he had longer legs for jumping.

"The one jumping would be in a small room, from where he can't run due to the trap, with two undead guards. Those are... not favourable odds, are they?" Then, he looks around and adds with a slightly sad smile, "I seem to be the one with the longest legs here, so I'll probably be that 'one'."

The dwarf is impressed by Stadvas' bravery, the emotions welling up within Odlin making him not want to stay behind.
"Well we could all try and jump through, think of it like a group leap of faith. we can't let ourselves be seperated although Jukia probably can use her holy influence on them from out here."

"If someone jumped the trap, lured the undead into following him, and jumped back, the undead would likely be damaged by the trap, and even if not, we would all be able to fight them. Or... I think I could get a clean shot at one of them, my bow won't be much use against them, but it would get their attention."
Lets hope it isn't just an inflict trap.

Jukia goes to the entrance of the door and lift her holy symbol. She calls on her god to send these abominations were they belong but nothing happens. She looks at her companions with a sorry look, nearly to tears. " I am sorry, I do not know if my faith is strong enough ....."She faces the undead again and holding her symbol higher, in al ouder voice she command the undead to disappear again. The medallion starts shinning and the zombie and skelleton turn around and try to flee but cannot. Jukia moves out of the way for Stadvas and give him her mace. " USe it to smash the skeletton. Be quick. They are harmless right now but it won't last more than a minute."
Turn undead - end of round 1 If you decide to jump, I need a roll.

Odlin emboldened by the divine magic seems to be in his own world again. Gripping his club he hopes to bludgeon the skeleton in to shattered bony shards. The plucky dwarf leaps across as best as his stumpy legs will let him. He uses the rest of his move to make for the cowering skeleton then attack it with his club.
wait till after Stadvas leaps across then make a jump! climb = 5

" Thanks, but I've got my own." Stadvas' feet leave the ground as he attempts his jump across the trap, and his sentence finishes in mid-air, where the warrior begins drawing his flail, its large metal ball waving around with an unnerving sound coming from the chain.
Quickdraw flail- Jump invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1333603Half-round attack on the skellie. invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1333605 (I forgot cowering modifier)

If Stadavas and Odlin get over all right, Augustine will jump over as well. If not, he will drag anyone who is on the trap space off. If he goes across, he will attack the zombie with his sword, wanting to take it down while it is still trying to run. Jump check (1d20 + 1=12)Attack roll (1d20 + 2=10)Second one says jump check as well, forgot to change the name.

Stadvas successfully jumps and starts attacking the skeleton. Odlin jumps but his little legs are not long enough and feels a spell of evil divine magic tears apart some of his life force. Augustine successfully jumps and slashes the zombie.
Jukia stays in the hallway. After several rounds, the undead are returned to their primal state. Borken bones and cut rotten flesh are lay all around the room.
In the room, the group finds a few magical components (which could help Odlin replenish his spell component pouch, 3 potions on the table as well as several parchments (not magic scrolls) all written in goblins.
OOC: XP Posted OOC2: Given the fact the the indead were turned and you had 8 rounds to slay them, I fast forwarded to keep the game going. I hope it is okay with you. OOC3: Odlin: 4HP of damages from a cause light wound spell trap.
