Ryxikor inspects the door carefully and does not notice any trap of any kind. The lock is the piece of wood across it which can be easily removed. He has the intelligence to grease the hinge and the group opens the door silently and easily. The doors open to stairs carved into the rock and going down. The natural corridor is large enough for two people to go through. Stadvas and Odlin go first, followed by Ryxikor and Augustine with Brettnor closing the march. The stairs goes down for quite some time before opening on a naturally carved chamber. The ceiling of this natural cave is very high, high enough for a dragon to fly. The room is dark and dry with a definite sharp acidic tinge on the constant breeze that flows through the area. Through Odlin’s torch, the group catches the gleam of silver and gold at the edge of where the light reaches. The heroes have the distinct impression that something is moving in the shadows when a spray of acid hit Stadvas and Augustine. Both tries to avoid the damages and only Augustine partially succeed. Noak is 20 feet in the air. It is a tiny, very very young black dragon, basically a wyrmling. “DO YOU ENJOY THE WAY NOAK’S BREATH MAKES YOUR SKIN SIZZLE AND MELT? NOAK DOES!”

Stadvas' entire frame twitches as the acid finds its way trough his armour and onto his skin. Mumbling something about a "winged rat", he switches his flail for his bow, since his opponent is too high to reach with a flail, and, while side-stepping to allow the others to get out, he releases an arrow in Noak's general direction.
Initiative roll: 1d20 = 3 Oh man. And everyone's going to wait for me. Movement action: sheath flail Free action: quickdraw shortbow Free action: 5-ft step to J11 (Would that count as melee? If it does, make it J12) Attack roll on Noak: 1d20+2 = 12 I get the feeling that I'm going to shoot my own face sometime soon, shooting up like this. (Damage 1d6)

"Aaagh, that's it. I've trod on things bigger than you!" Augustine drops his sword, draws his bow, and looses a pair of arrows at the dragon.
HP: 12/15 AC: 16 Initiative (1d20 + 3=15)Attacks on Noak (1d20 + 5=20, 1d20 + 5=9)Damage: 1d8+1 (point blank shot) I messed up the attack roll, should be 1d20+4. If he isn't close enough to get point blank shot (should be, ten feet away and fifteen feet higher than normal would be 25 feet, right? I haven't had to deal with flyers before), take a step closer before dropping the sword, I think J12, if he isn't occupying it. I don't think it would count as melee for you to be in J11, unless the dragon dropped onto the ground where he is, which would be an unsound tactical decision for him, we would clobber him on the ground.

Once the wooden beam is removed from the door, Ryxikor opens the door on the left, leaving the door on the right closed. As the group enters the doorway into Noak's lair, the elven rogue, standing beside the closed door, mutters to himself a 'good luck' to each of his companions as they pass by. Hoping to take advantage of some kind of concealment, the sneaky young elf waits a few moments after the others pass through. Just as Ryx gets ready to enter Noak's domain, he hears the dragon speak. He cautiously peeks around the door, and as he sees the others get to the bottom of the stairs and attack, Ryx slips around the door and into the corner of the closed door and wall, taking advantage of any shadows givin off by the flickering torch Brettnor carries. Once the elf settles down into the corner he slowly pulls one of his daggers from its sheath, hoping to catch the, dragonfly, Ryx thinks to himself, in an exposed organ as the wyrmling flies overhead.

Odlin admires his foe. He's read about dragons, seen drawings but never encountered one. Even this wyrmling has millenia of ancestry enshrouding it.
His mind sharpens to the present. With the dragon in the air and far enough away, the wizard hurries in to the room. He pulls forth his arms and sends his arcane lore in a cascade of impossible geometries at the dragon, ebbing its strength briefly as he connects it to another plane of existence.
With disappointment he watches the energy shoot wide of the target.
Playing to its vanity the dwarf yells (in Draconic), "The mighty Noak? Hiding in the rafters like a fruit bat. A mere winged vermin!"
Odlin clutches his torch tightly once more. The dragon's very presence crystallising his thoughts, the wizard wonders what the flaming brand would do against the armoured lizard

Initiative: Augustine, Noak, Stadvas, Ryxikor, Odlin, Brettnor Augustine moves into the lair and shoots two arrows in a row. The first one pierces Noak’s right wings and the other one flies wide. ”Noak will make you pay you puny human! Noak is a shadow, Noak is your death!”He flies up to the top of the cavern (about 30 feet) as she seems to get ready to prepare another attack. Stadvas comes in the cavern and unleashes and arrow which misses the dragon. Noak laughs at the failed attempt. Odlin moves deep into the cavern and unleashes his magic. Unfortunately, it fails to reach the monster. Without weapons, Odlin uses his tongue, hoping to upset the wyrmling. To the dwarf’s insult, Noak replies “ Noak will kill you next, you short bearded HUMAN!”Brettnor is in the cavern, holding the wand. “Who needs healing who needs healing?” No one replies so he puts the wand back in his belt and gets his crossbow ready. Ryxikor has hid in the shadow and the group as well as Noak as lost track of him.
OOC: I need initiative for Odlin and Ryxikor

Stadvas draws a new arrow. "I vote 'no'." he shouts in answer to Noak's threat. He carefully pulls back the arrow, and then releases it. It draws a beautiful wooden parabola trough the air, one which ends far off target.

Odlin laughs at the dragon (in Draconic) "I've studied about your kind. Well I shall make sure to leave no scale unturned when i dissect you then stuff you for my laboratory!"
With a bohemian gesture and the utterance of powerful syllables, a colourful flash shoots out to the dragon and strikes her firmly. Dark energy links the wyrmling to another realm of existence causing her to weaken and wither a little
With a triumphant laugh Odlin mocks Noak. "See! you are but a plaything to me! Don't you wish you could harness the power of magicks too? You're a pathetic subject. Not worth my interest at all!"

Hating the fact that he's holding his attack while his companions are fighting the dragonfly, the elven thief knows that it will benefit the cause if he gets a good solid hit on the creature. So he creeps down the steps, slowly, and stays to the shadows. "Brettnor, move over by the others, your in my way." Ryx says very softly hoping the human will hear, but making sure the wyrmling doesn't.
Once the cleric has moved away from the steps, Ryxikor continues on his way, carefully, around the corner and into the large alcove. When the dragon focuses on whatever it is the dwarf is saying to it and he finally comes down from the ceiling a little, the elf aims for a vital spot and hurls the dagger at the creature. Once he attacks, the limber rogue jumps forward, around the corner from the dragonfly.
Init: 1d20(11)+3=14, but I'm holding movements AC: 16 HP:10
Move action: Hide and move silent for 15' to G12, after Brettnor moves Standard action: throw dagger Free action: move 5' to G11 Hide: 1d20(14)+8=22 Move silent: 1d20(5)+8=13 Attack: 1d20(18)+4=22 Damage: 1d4 Sneak attack damage: 1d6
OOC: Ok, how far will one roll get me for a hide and move silent check? I always figured 10', if I need to roll again let me know, or you can Achinca.
So, I'm waiting for, Brettnor's move, Odlin's magical and verbal attack, and the dragon to move down some, does that mean I'm last?

Augustine takes a step towards Noak, and fires almost directly up at the dragon, hoping that any missed arrows will either shatter or bury themselves in the cave rather than fall and hurt someone. His breath catches in his throat as he sees one that looks like it might have hit somewhere vital, and he watches for the dragon to either come down or breath acid again. Attacks on Noak (1d20+4=9, 1d20+4=24)Confirm on Noak (1d20+4=15)Damage 1d8+1, x3 if critical.

Initiative: Augustine, Odlin, Ryxikor (holding movement) Noak, Stadvas, Brettnor Augustine has no time for playing game with the black dragon. He has a task at hand which is to free the tribe of his favored enemies from the tyranny of Noak and bring back peace to Barrow’s Edge. He unleashes his arrows. The first one misses but the second one is a master piece of archery. It enters in the throat of the dragon and comes out through its left eye. Noak screams in pain at the masterful stroke and for the first time since they met the dragon, she is quiet. Odlin is out of magic but yells more insults as he sees the dragon bleed profusely. Ryxikor waits to see what transpires. Noak, realizing that these heroes are not push over goblins decides that life is worth more than a hoard and she decides to fly away. She flies down through the doors and towards the stairs. Ryxikor throws his dagger and it enters the side of the dragon but does not stop her. Brettnor and Stadvas are surprised at the outcome but they suddenly hear an energy explosion following by a female scream coming from the room at the top of the stairs (Darax). The heroes are now alone in the silence of Noak's lairs.
OOC: No, you are SO lucky: 1d8+1 critical x3 and I roll 7. You nearly killed Noak all by yourself. I was planning a longer and funner fight.

Stadvas stares at Augustine, obviously impressed by the accurate shooting. "Nice shot. See what we can get." He says quickly, moving towards stairs. "I'll go check what happened." With these last words, he walks up the stairs and looks into Darax's room, expecting anything from pieces of dragon flesh covering the walls to a horde of any goblins preparing to cover the walls in his flesh.

With a look of disgust, Ryxikor relaxes and watches the dragon fly away, with his dagger still sticking out of the side of the beast, surprised at how the little dragonfly can even carry the weight of the weapon. Once he hears the scream, he is about to suggest an investigation, but the ever alert Augustine is quick and moves towards the stairwell, "He may need help." the rogue says to the others. Ryx then looks back to where he saw the shiny reflections off the flickering torchlight. The elf carefully, alertly, moves deeper into the room, searching out anything he can find that the dragon was hording.

Stadvas followed by Augustine go up the stairs with some apprehension, wondering what has transpired and if they are at risk.
Inside Darax’s room, they see the body of Noak still fuming. Urrtarr stands in the hallway, her hands still smokey. The hobgoblin woman looks shaken and distraught. “This is what you get for spilling goblin blood. You will never threaten my tribe ever again. You will never spill the blood of my children.”
She looks at the heroes. “You might have not killed her but you weakened her enough to make her vulnerable to my magic. Darax is still alive so I will keep my word. Will you keep yours?”
Into Noak’s lair, Ryxikor and Odlin are busy trying to go to the hoard of the now defunct dragon. They find a great deal of coins. A large large pile containing a few platinuim pieces, a lot of gold and silver pieces but the majority are copper pieces. The two estimates that it is in excess of 4,000 coins. They also find a ring and a cloak. They also find numerous empty bottles and potions and torn up scrolls.
OOC: Let me know if you want to count the coins HERE or how you plan to carry such a heavy load.

Augustine simply nods, and lets Stadvas do the talking.
I would say that we should all carry what we can (up to maximum encumberance), and then hire some goblins to carry the rest, we go in a ways ahead of them to keep them from getting attacked. 4000 coins / 50 coins per pound 800 pounds of coins alone. Buy pack animals along with whatever else we buy back at barrow's edge if we still have more than we can carry after we resupply. It shouldn't cost too much to get the treasure back to town. We could also have Ryx go ahead of the rest of us to get word to town that we are coming with goblins, and he could grab the treasure in the chapel while the rest of us are packing up the treasure.
