His shoulder in pain from the arrow he took, he can almost hear his heartbeat from the throbbing pain, he thinks. He then reaches over and grabs the tanglefoot bag. Coming back up to full height and stepping northwest five feet, he throws the bag at the hobgoblin trying to miss his companions.

If Ryxikor's tanglefoot bag successfully glues Darax to the floor, Augustine says "Get his weapons and then get back, lets talk to him." If not, he attempts to discern how badly Darax is hurt (what kind of check would I need to get a ballpark of how close he is to dropping?), and decides whether or not to fire another arrow at him.

Initiative: Ryxikor, Augustine, Darax, Stadvas, Odlin, Brettnor Ryxikor stands, grabs his tanglefoot bag and throws it at Darax. The throw is good but not good enough and misses Darax. The tangle bag disappears in the hallway behind Darax. Augustine launches another arrow at Darax. IF the hobgoblin had not been in a fight with Darax, he would have hit him. But the ranger over corrected his aim and the arrow barely misses the hobgoblin head. Darax swings at Stadvas and this time the battle axe find a weakness in the fighter armor, cutting a deep gash in the fighter’s body. The hobgoblin lets a scream of power as he sees that he finally drew blood. Stadvas yells in pain and asks for someone to talk to Darax. The monster replies in good common “ No time for talking. Time for KILLING” The fighter decides to try to trip Darax with his weapon, avoiding that way an attack of opportunity. He fails however in his attempt to trip as the hobgoblin is quite strong. Oldin, in a strangely suicidal strategy tries to grapple Darax. This creates an attack of opportunity that the hobgoblin takes full advantage of, slashing deep into the wizard skin and makes a huge cut on the wizard body. Brettnor shoots another bolt that misses Darax again. The cleric yells as he sees his companions bleeding “Come back and I will heal you!” Stadvas: -8HP of damages – Currently at 13/21 Odlin: -9HP of damages – Currently at 4/13
OOC: Puff: If Ryxikor crouches behind the table, he gets +8. If he stands behind it, he gets + 4. OOC2:Trip made contact but strength check failed for Stadvas (Ilya rolls your own strength check if you do another trip attempt) OOC3: Sorry but I rolled high today. OOC4: Darax is bleeding but looks like he has a life left in him.

Shaking his head, Stadvas glares the hobgoblin in the eye. The glare shows he has just given up any hope to settle this in a way that resembles peaceful. "You know what, let's see how right you are. Good luck with the face." he answers with frustration is his voice. Even annoyed as he is at the goblinoid's lack of cooperation, he understands raw damage isn't what he needs right here, makes as precise an attack as possible.
Attack on Darax: 1d20+5=6: automatic miss

The pain tears through Odlin, mingling with the anguish of lost kin. His thoughts are a jumble and he makes no move to retreat and leave Stadvas to face the monster alone. "We have him!" cries the dwarf probably prematurely
S: Fighting defensively, Aid another to give Stadvas +2 on attack rolls attack roll 1d20+1-4=5 (FAIL! sorry ilya!)
hp 4 AC 18
can i suggest everyone coming up to help and we should subdue this guy not pepper him with arrows unless that's the only option of doing damage

A rare look crosses the lean sharp elven features of the rogue, Ryxikor, a look of frustation. Frustrated at his perceived inept abilities once he came down the steps into Darax's domain, Ryx feels determined to prove that he is a highly skilled elf, not only to his new companions, but to himself as well. As the fight continues, it seems to slow down a bit for the elf, a bit surreal. Deep in his mind, he feels as though the fight will come to him, the energy in the room will turn in favor of the companions and they will overcome Darax, and Ryx senses that his fighting will decide this outcome. He gracefully bends at the knees and ankles, and slightly in his lower back, down to grasp the hilt of his silver stilleto lying near his feet. While he lowers himself and grabs the lean, toothpick of a dagger, with his left hand, he reaches into his pouch, hanging from his belt, and seizes the object of his desire, a flask given to him by Oldin. Once rises back up, Ryx takes a step back to better see his opponent. He pulls his right arm up and behind his shoulder, and turning his whole body into the motion of the throw, he hurls the Alchemist's Fire towards Darax. Hmm, I wonder what that does?. Did he say fire?. I hope I don't hit Stadvas! he thinks as he lets the flask fly. Suddenly, his large eyes go wide again as he sees how badly his throw actually was.
Rd 3 AC: 16 HP: 7/10 Free action: 5' step south, moving Brettnor out of the way Move action: grasp dagger on floor w left hand, grab alchemst fire w right hand Standard action: range attack w alchemist fire Attack: 1d20(2)+4=6, oh crap, lol

Initiative: Ryxikor, Augustine, Darax, Stadvas, Odlin, Brettnor Ryxikor throws the flask of alchemist’s fire towards Darax. Unfortunately, his throw is way of base and misses the hobgoblin. It hits the walls behind the hobgoblin, splashing both Darax and Stadvas, burning them sligthly. Augustine unleashes another arrow that is far from even getting close to Darax. Darax swings again at Stadvas and the battle axe does its job, cutting more of the fighter flesh. Odlin tries to help Stadvas by distracting the hobgoblin but all the dwarf succeeds is to confuse the fighter and make him miss Darax. Brettnor, feeling worried about the fighter goes behind him and use the last divine powers he has for the day. Asking for Pelor magic, he puts one hand on Stadvas and one hand on his holy symbol and the warrior wounds heal. “ This is it for. We are down to the wand.” Stadvas: -1HP (alchemist fire) – 7HP (Darax) + 7HP (Brettnor CLW) – Currently at 12/21

Odlin stares amid the shower of burning rain. The voices are loud and confusing, dwarf and goblin cries echoing around the great halls of the dwarfhold. Blood and death everywhere. He doesn't knopw what to do again. A sense of desperation and solitude settles on him like a pall. Standing there holding his burning torch like a club, watching his clothes smolder from the alchemist fire, he hears human voices. humans? here?
Through the smoke and haze of battle he sees a familiar face. The grim determined Stadvas. With cold certainty he nods at the fighter and mouths the phrase "let's do it brother"
Ilya, Odlin will go with whatever you choose, if you swing at the hobbo then i'll give you +2 aid another to hit, if you want to grapple then i'll assist you so i'll let you post for me!

Stadvas nods at Odlin, and with a determined, but also frustrated growl, he jumps towards Darax, trying to tackle him, stop him, hold him. His body leaves a trail of bright orange sparks, and a few drops of blood from its wounds, in its movement forward, probably to something painful. Our of a corner of his eye, Stadvas sees Odlin mimic his movement and assist him in the grapple.
Odlin's check on Aid Another: 1d20+1 = 20
Grapple check, IF I survive the attack of opportunity: 1d20+3+2 = 25 Hmm... do natural 20's on a grapple check have an effect? Hold check: 1d20+3+2 = 22
Woah. The Dice are with me. A 19 and a 20.

Augustine moves to melee range on Darax, drops his bow, and attempts to mess with Darax's attacks on Stadvas, trying to give him an opening for his grapple.

Initiative: Ryxikor, Augustine, Darax, Stadvas, Odlin, Brettnor Ryxikor runs towards Stadvas to help the warrior in his grapple attempt. Augustine follows the elf also in the intent to help. Darax suddenly feeling the mass of enemies closing on him decides it is time to go down to business. He swings his battle axe with is battle cry but Stadvas easily avoid the hit. Stadvas tries to grapple the monster. This creates an opportunity for the hobgoblin who raises his axe and is about to decapitate Stadvas when Ryxikor launches a few selected insults in goblin specifically questioning the manhood of Darax and how loud Ryxikor made Urrtarr scream of pleasure. This is enough to divert the tribe leader and he barely misses Stadvas. Ryxikor help was invaluable. Stadvas grabs Darax and with Odlin’s help is wrestle him to the ground, injuring him in the process. The goblin yells more obscenities, promising to make they eat their own testicules. He shows no sign of wanting to surrender. Brettnor goes next to Oldlin and touch the dwarf head with his wand. Immediately, the mage wounds heals. "I have 11 charges left" Odlin: 5HP of healing: currently at 9/13
OOC: Here is my best attempt. I hope I did not screw up too much. IF there is a major mistake, send me an email.

The warrior manages to squeeze a "Thanks." to the others between grips and struggles. Once he has a firm grip on the goblinoid, he moves on of his arms up to throat height and slowly tries to suffocate Darax. His whistling voice carries the words "Go... to... sleep..." between his tightly clenched teeth.
Everything looks about right. Attack roll for unarmed strike (damage 1d3+1): 1d20+3 = 16 (18 is someone aids me) AC:17 HP: 12/21
Oh, and if you need an opposed grapple check for Darax' attempt to get free, here you go: 1d20+3 = 9 I ran out of luck.

As the fighter and the goblinoid go down hard on the ground, still wrestling, Ryxikor still yells obscenities at Darax, things about his ancestors mating with pigs and such. When the opportunity presents itself, Ryx dives to the ground beside Stadvas, grabbing at Darax's left arm. The elf believes if he can concentrate all his strength and weight on the one arm, thats one arm his companion wouldn't have to worry about.
aide another 1d20=18, ooo yeah! still dont know what to use as a modifier
