Stadvas runs forward, at his opponents as well, following almost the same path as Odlin, but stopping when facing his right opponent. He prepares to start the close-combat battle. invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1112587((Apparently, I am lucky today. And, like you've seen, I am. Run action to U12)) DM EDIT: IF you run to U12 you will generate a AoO from G3. I'll stop you ahead of him

Odlin's fury is evident for all to see. Club swinging wildly, the dwarf runs at his retreating enemies following Stadvas. "Surrender or die!" F: run (K16>R9>T9>U10>T11[75ft]) AC 11 or 12 - Dodge against G2 hp 7
i think Ilya forgot to be clearer in his path description. his character can indeed run to U12 without an AoO if he takes a curved path similar to Odlin's. i'm guessing the plan was Stadvas: J15>P9>T9>U10>U12

The goblins ready their attack waiting for the heroes to come within firing range. As the group leaves the hampered area of the terrain*, they double their speed toward the goblins. When they enter the range of the javelins, the goblins fire at poor Stadvas, the funny looking fighter. They each fire their last javelin and one sails above the head of Stadvas while unfortunately for the fighter, the second one penetrate deep into his flesh. He grimaces in pain but keep running, joining the goblins. Odlin and Kyrian follows, Odlin yelling in a language the goblins do not understand. Augustine moves forward and fires another arrow but to his dismay, it fails again to reach its target. It seems that his hatred for the goblins is acting like a deterrent right now, rather than like a motivator. Stadvas: 3hp damages – Currently 5/12
*: I goofed up the movement rules, confusing running and double move action. So to keep the story straight, the terrain you just left was hampered where each square counts for two.

Odlin watches fearfully about him, ducking and dodging the angry attacks by the goblins. When he sees Stadvas' wounds, his heart flags, indecision gripping his mettle. O Moradin! If he falls we are all doomed! Doomed! I can't cope, I'll never manage! I'll fail!
Rallying himself under combat, the dwarf moves towards his companion and swings at the goblin in front of him trying to keep it off balance.
"Kyrian, can you help Stadvas?" shouts the mage desperately.
M: 5ft step to T12 S: club attack (aid another to give Stadvas a +2 to hit G3) = 11 (success!)
hp7 AC11 but AC12 dodge versus G2
*** STADVAS has +2bonus to hit G3 ***

Moving another ten feet southward, Augustine takes a third shot at the goblin. This one is more successful, but doesn't look like it will be quite enough to finish the job unless it hits something unexpected. Attack 3 on G2 (1d20 + 5=24, 1d8 + 1=3)DM Edit: PLease remember that I roll the damages. However, indicate the damage formula e.g. aDx + y

Kyrian says nothing toward the dwarf, simply moves as quickly as she can to get the task finished and keep Stadvas alive. 'I'd comment...but I think I'll keep these sheep alive lest the wolves consume them.' HP: 8/8 AC: 14 Init: 1d20 + 2 = 18
M: moving from S9 > T10 > U11 S: casting or prepping to cast (if not enough time) CLW on Stadvas

Kyrian moves behind Stadvas and using the power of nature heals some of the injuries that the warrior has suffered.
The goblins swing at their enemies, G2 aiming for Odlin while G3 attack Stadvas. However, Maglubiyet seems to have abandoned them as both miss badly.
Stadvas does not miss the opportunity to strike and with the help of Odlin lands a devastating blow that kills the goblin instantly.
Augustine moves forward and fires another arrow. This one ends through the throat of the unfortunate goblin that falls to the ground with screams of dying pain.
End of combat – XP to follow
Stadvas: +4hp – Currently 9/12

Breathing heavily, the dwarf mage collapses to the grass letting his cudgel slip from his fingers to tumble on to the ground and resting himself against his backpack.
"Wow! success... maybe. We won't be getting any information from their throats now." Odlin mentally kicks himself for forgetting about the elven archer on the grassy knoll. There goes my plan for helping Stadvas subdue the last goblin after we took down his friend. Next time do better you silly dwarf!
"well let's see if their possessions may speak for them."
Odlin suggest they drag the four goblin corpses in to one mound and search their bodies. He also thinks that the elves should be buried and their bodies searched for personal effects in case they can be returned to their families. Although if the wagon is useable, maybe they could carry the elven bodies on it to the village.
"I wonder what's in the wagon. would it be rude of us to peek?"

Augustine slings his bow over his shoulder, and drags the goblins together, before rifling through their pockets, seeing what he can find.
So are you going to do both the attack and damage rolls, or just the damage rolls?

Kyrian nods a sharp assent to Odlin's suggestion to examine the corpses for anything that could be a clue, but keeps a wary eye on the area around them. One hand gripping the shaft of her shortspear, she moves back slightly, moving close to the wagon. She does take the opportunity to examine the area for any signs of passage or if anything is possibly salvageable from the wagon.

Just the DAMAGES rolls.
Reason: To keep the mystery of knowing how close to death or not a monster is and avoid problems if I modify a monster.

As Odlin, Stadvas and Augustine start gathering the goblin bodies into a pile, Kyrian approaches the turned wagon and notices a frightened halfling peering at her from behind a barrel in the overturned wagon.
“Is it …. Is it safe to come out?” she asks. “I’m Sten, Sten Goodseller, a merchant from Barrow’s Edge. Are you the fine folks who saved me?”
OOC: The group gathers a total of 8 dead goblins. Each one is wearing leather armor and a light wooden shield (for a small character). Each one had a morningstar and 2 javelins total (for a small character). 2 elf guards are dead and 2 are unconscious but stabilized.

Odlin jumps with a stifled shriek when the barrel in the wagon talks to Kyrian.
The wizard tries to make a fuss of searching the goblins, avoiding contact with the merchant. His nervousness is apparent as his trembling hands drop one of the morningstars with a THUD!
Once he can do no more, he sidles up to behind the elf druidess and listens in to the conversation.

"Aye, it's safe enough. And aye, we're the ones that finished off the goblins. Though I don't know why they'd be attacking you." Her voice is rather gentle, surprisingly, for one normally so aloof. "Can you tell me what exactly happened here? I know you're nervous, but it's important."
