It would, except you are only allowed to cast longstrider on yourself. That wand isn't brand new, we got it from the first encounter in the campaign, a goblin druid. We just haven't ever had a situation to use it. I don't really see it being any use unless we find a way to let it work on someone other than the caster.

No, it just means Stadvas gets one -6 penalty less (his speed is 20ft thanks to the heavy armor).

If Ryx needs any saves, feel free to roll them if you want to Achinca The reason I want the will save (At least he has until tonight) is because the outcome will significantly affect what happens next (cosnidering he has 2 hits including a critical). He could easily dispatch Stadvas into the afterlife. I do not want as a DM to have to make that roll. I hope Noda shows up or I will have to do it. |

I think we are a bit out of our weight class if we are fighting aboleths. At least we ought to level up quite quickly, if none of us die (it can do the domination thing three times per day, we fought an aboleth mage in another campaign I was in. By then DC17 wasn't much, but that was a lucky save here).

Yep, it was a domination attempt. Given the fact that you would have to attack one of your teammates if you failed the save, I did not want to do the roll myself.
The aboleth is gone but not dead as it was a project image that attacked you (which is why the arrows are floating).
This was close but this is to give the group a sense (in my opinion) that things are quite dangerous in the underdark.
Be ready and be prepared.

ODlin and Stadvas are now Level 5. Augustien and Ryxikor needs 450 more XP.
Ilya and Cal, please update your character and send me all of the changes you did when you level up and PLEASE update the character sheet entry.
Let me know when it is done.
