Honestly I just dont see a character stepping into the fire. I wouldnt (Ryx wouldnt), I would just not occupy that square. Do u think one of them is gonna move in the fire?  ?? You could pull Padre out of it, or he could move out of it on his own. Padre could back up a square and if a sentry moves into the fire, Padre can bash his head in. |

Dragen should take keraurs spot. No-one wants to get burned, nbot the cultists either. Padre can back up and guard that square with Sirali, who dont forget can be effective as a black panther. I dont think ryx needs help at the moment. Then if Valandir moves up close to ryx, I dont think they can keep coming in. We'lll have them blocked

I guess you could grab your waterskin and douse yourself with it, thats the only water source, until later that night when Ryx breaks out his wineskin

The mage can move it at will.. He'll just move it to where ever someone is anyways... and away from the soldier, so there is really no point in trying to get away from it. It moves at a rate of 30'
note to DM: I can justify Dra'gen having that knowledge by the way.. look who his best friend is.. our handy spell caster.. so I'm not really meta-gaming

yeah, but, if he cant see us, and the only way to try to hit us with it is- with a sentry telling him where we are, plus that sentry is fighting for his life, there has to be some room for error on the part of communicatiion between sentry and mage, isnt there, I mean he has some guess work to it.

I've got it! Dragen needs to GRAPPLE with the soldier at the top of the stairs. That way none of the others can move through! I know he'll take damage, but that's why he has so many HP. (he does have "so many" HP, doesn't he?)

All you do is move the sphere until it hits something or someone. With so few cultists in, the mage has stats on his side. |

I have a question. When Ryx killed the sentry, couldn't he have move up 5' ?
When I read That Ryx killed him, I knew my next move would be to move up 5', but then I saw the enemy moved in.
Ryx has a higher init, if i had known he could have been killed already i would have put that in my post. Sorry

Ryxikor attacked with both blades which is a full action. I guess he could have taken a 5 step (not sure if he can be done after the hit) but I need this info to be available to me.  |
