So let me get this straight: You want Valandir to spend two rounds without his primary weapon, step into the flaming sphere, and take a beating from the guard besides.
Am I right?

Without metagaming, it would not make sense for the sphere to stay where it is. If you are trying to unplug the hole, you wantto move the sphere around.
Also, staying in the flame will heat up your armor and give you additional damages.

Firstly, I missed the flaming sphere. The plan is cancelled until I've found a way around it. Secondly, your earlier post led me to believe he could be the plug.
Just do whatever you're doing until I have a real plan.

Talon, Code and Puff have posted. Are you waiting for Ilya's plan before posting?
I expect his character will not do anything until he has hashed a plan.
She-elf is on vacations or something so I can post after you do or we can wait for Ilya's plan!
His original plan was great and I feel sorry for ruining it with a flaming sphere.

Well. I also misinterpreted Valandir's abilities, to be fair, so it had some holes in it. It seemed like a good idea, but the flaming sphere probably saved us all from a horrible fate.
And yes, Kerraur won't be acting until I know how to hit the enemy and not my friends. Although! I have a plan to work with the spellcaster on the roof. Do we know if he's near the door?

Ryxikor could only tell that there want chanting on the roof. He also did not hear any order of going to check what is making this ruckus nor he heard anyone coming down. Having said that, was there nothing to hear or did he fail his check? [insert DM raising his eyes brows in a suspicious way ... >

Ok guys, we need a plan of attack here.. Valandir, can cover the hole after the flame sphere goes poof? If the Padre heals me I can trade places with him and help you hold the stairs.. OR we could open up the square at the top of the stairs and let one at a time come up and we could both start hammering as they step up.
Does Sirali have a way to get at that spellcaster down below us if we open a spot for her? maybe if she can, we can move the fight to the top next to top step which gives her the top step... We need to remove him from the equation and fast
Ilya, dealing with the guy above is a good idea, that keeps you out of the line of fire and thats one less worry of getting flanked
Just throwing some ideas out there

Just posted. Map to follow later. basically, Dra'gen and Valandir left the plug open and PAdre could not enter the flaming sphere. 3 Cultists are in. There is no sign that who ever is upstairs and what ever they do has any interest of going downstairs. However, people change opinions between rounds.

Hey, I woulda done it, I was just confirming what you wanted from me... But the pace of this game is so inconsistant, one round takes a week, the next round takes a day. I thought we would have time to discuss this. Posting is also inconsistent. How many posts were added to this thread in the last 24 hours? Sorry I wasn't more clear on this post. It will cost us a lot. I have said and will say again, I will try to do whatever you guys want, but you have to actually give direction, not just talk about it. To that end, I am delaying my post, until a plan is finalized. Yes, for my actions this round I can delay until a guard goes down and then tumble into the gap, thus effecting (some sort of) plug.

What I'd like to know is: how is this caster knowing where to place the flaming sphere? How can he/she see the room?
