Dear Friends, It is with great sadness that I am to share the news that our community member Caledonian Achilles has passed away after his long battle with cancer. Cal (as he was known to us) and I had been in touch via Facebook and this is how I came to hear the news.
I'm sure we'll all remember him for the contributions he has made to our site as both DM and player. I know I'll also remember his great sense of humour.
Please spare a thought at this time for his wife and young daughter whom he leaves behind.

OH No! I cannot believe this! Cal was the one who brought me back to Dnd after all these years. He had the best sense of humor I had heard in a long time. This is so so sad!
Really makes you think ......

Although I did not have the honor of knowing him, my heart goes out to his friends and family.

Farewell Cal. Cal brought me to this site, we were both banned from the other site. He was hilarious, we chatted often, I enjoyed both chatting with him and role-playing with him. You will be sorely missed.

Cal,
You were friend and mentor in the ways of DM, you made me laugh and cherish the characters I met from your mind, and only leave me to wonder what more of the person beyond them I had yet to meet. While I may have come and gone you always greeted me with a smile and welcome. I hope your journey is a peaceful one marked with light and life and perhaps a few more good rounds of dungeon delving.
May you and yours be safe and thriving always.
Magus
