Seeing that magical arrow struck, but crazed dwarf is still standing, Taliea curses under her breath and quickly loads and releases some of her normal arrows into the bow, firing them off with lightning speed.

Wanting to move, Theodorre instead stands his ground. The half elf reaches into the side pouch of his haversack and pulls out a scroll. He unrolls the parchment and begins muttering spell that has been written on it. Once he is finished, the wizard touches Alyana on the shoulder. "You should be able to jump, whatever that is, with ease, my lady." he says quickly, "That's a spell to enable you to jump better. I have one for you too Taliea." Theo takes a quick peek back, wondering what has happened to Barrend.
AC: ?, havent looked up yet, sorry HP: 14/34

Alyana smiles at Theodore before jumping the chasm using the jump spell.
1d20 + 1 + 20 (if Theo is level 5 or more) = 9 + 1 +20 = 30
She will move a close to the dwarf as possible to hit him next round!

Three arrows hit the dwarf, and the fear grows on his face into a complete panic... and then, suddenly, it is replaced with proud defiance, and a stubborn refusal to accept his fate. " You may be able to kill me, but the rocks around you will avenge me." He ominously promises, before launching into a long series mumbled arcane words, while drawing odd geometrical shapes in the air before him. The fact he promises it into the completely wrong direction, however, weakens the effect tremendously. And he runs. Or rather, he stumbles, not to his safety, but towards those who have invaded his laboratory. His uncertain feet bring him past Alyanna as she hits the rock, giving her an opportunity to cut him down. The edge of the abyss crackles beneath his foot, and an expression of surprise momentarily appears as he tumbles down, towards the dangerously glowing substance, probably to his doom... He has not fallen two feet when his wildly waving hands find the rock wall he's falling past, and stick to it. Moments later, his feet are swung against the rock, and land with a thud. They, too, remain attached. Hanging on the rock wall, Bof-anssun turns his blind eyes up.
Take into account that he is now partially covered by the other side of the cliff from Taliea. And Alyanna gets AoO.

Taliea tells Theo to reserve his spell - she will continue to attack without crossing the questionable chasm, however she moves closer to avoid the partial cover provided by the rocky walls. She fires another arrow at the falling Dwarf.
Move: to square opposite Bof-Anssun (10 ft) Standard: Attack 1d20(19)+12=31 Damage 1d8(5)+3=8

Alyana closes to the chasm, not impressed by the dwarf threat. "Last chance dwart! Stop your shenigans and we can sit down and discuss! IF you keep your insane behavior, good bye!
She will wait for the dwarf answer. If as expected he does not surrender, she pulls out her symbol of Corellon Larethian and whisper a few divine words. A spiritual weapon appears next to the dwarf.
Cast: Spiritual weapon - Long Sword - Round 0/6 - Attack: +5 - damages: 1d8 + 2

OOC: I assume Alyana has a line of sight.

The dwarf's pride burns brightly, even in his unfortunate and uncomfortable situation: blind and injured on a rock wall, the blood from his injuries dripping into some ominously bubbling substance below. "Discuss? I don't discuss anything with burglars who break into my laboratory, attack me for no reason, and then have the nerve to call me crazy! You don't want to talk, all you want is a fight. Having fun yet?! Get out of my home, you bandits, I'm not surrendering to the likes of you!" he shakes his hand, and then moves it over his face. "For the last time, you're the insane one! I'd be insane if I let you come any closer to me!"
Yes, she does. And higher ground, so she gets a +1 to attack rolls.

Ready to read from his second scroll, turns take an unexpected turn. The blind crazed dwarf seems to have gotten himself caught in a situation the wizard can exploit. Theodorre decides against grabbing the scroll and instead reaches in the folds of his cloak and produces a wand. He moves up closer to the chasm to get a good shot, he then activates the wand with a few softly spoken archaic words.
AC: 9 HP: 14/34
Hmm, no coordinates He'll move 4 spaces over and 4 spaces down towards chasm. Moving to his right. activates wand: Do i roll atack roll or does he just make a save

The spell catches the wizard by surprise, and he suddenly feels sticky threads forming all around him. While he tries to rip himself free, an arrow pierces his arm, splattering the threads with red. The sword that suddenly appears leaves a nasty cut in him, so when he is finally rendered almost immobile in the tight webs, those surrounding him have a somewhat creepy pink colour, rendered all the more unpleasant due to the faint green glow filtering through the web from below. Not that he blind dwarf has any benefit from it. Even in his trapped condition, he attempts to weave magic, but there is no immediate, apparent effect. Even though this allows the blade to take a swing at him, it fails to hit him.
"Alright." His angry voice sounds almost like a growl, as he speaks while looking up at where he thinks his enemy is. There is nothing but rock ceiling there. He breathes heavily, waiting for the next attack to come. "You've got me where you want me now."
Your new AC is 10 - 2 (lowered Dex) + 1 (amulet), so it's 9. He tries to make a save.

Having her target right where she wants him, Taliea's hand moves from quiver to bow with lightning speed. A rain of arrows flies towards the helpless dwarf.

Alyana hears the dwarf surrendering and smiles. But before she can say anything, Talea unleashes a volley of arrows. If the wizard is still alive, she will move the spiritual sword away from him for the round and asks "Do you surrender? If yes, spill the beans. Why did you comeback to your master? What are you trying to do with earth magic? What did you do with the chickens?"
Spiritual weapon - Long Sword - Round 2/6 - Attack: +5 +1 (higher ground) = No attach + 6 = - damages: 1d8 + 2

Moving up to get a clear shot if need be, Theodorre, the whimsical half elven wizard, pulls another wand out of his haversack. Wielding a wand in each hand, theo winces as he sees the three arrows speed towards and hit the dwarf. theo holds his actions til he sees what the dwarf does. If he doesn't cooperate and looks as though he might escape, Theo uses his wand of web again. After the questions from Alyana, Theo agrees with her reasoning, "Yes, what is going on here. We came to see what is going on, and you attack us and will not comply. I'm getting very angry and am ready to smite you down with a lightening bolt or two, if your charred body can handle it!!"Then Theo quickly scans the cavern and mutters, "Yes, I'm wondering the same thing, what have you done with the farm animals?"
Hmm, still no Noda. wonder if Talon is interested in this game, I think I already asked this.

The answer to why the foolish wizard decided to defend his laboratory and not surrender to a stronger force will never be answered. Nor will these words ever be heard by the one they're directed at, as the bite of the three arrows, piercing the dwarf's flesh, prove too much for him. Only two screams of pain sound beneath the oddly glowing halls of the rock. The third one is not a scream of pain, it is the last, weak shout of someone who is dying. Each of the ranger's arrows finds its target in the helplessly hanging apprentice's body, tearing into his flesh. A few weak convulsions -the mighty web's ropes hold him almost entirely motionless- later, all that sounds in the cave is the eerie dripping of the apprentice's blood into the pool.
Good news, you've killed him.
I'd like to have spot checks, and actions remain round-by-round.

Realizing he is talkng to a deceased dwarf, Theodorre has a bewildered look on his face, "Hmm, I guess we'll never know what he was up to. Would like to know what he did with that livestock, I'm kind of hungry." he says with a cryptic smile. Feeling more at ease, Theo walks closer to the chasm, while he returns his wand of web to his haversack and turns to take a better look in the cavern.
spot: 1d20=8 spot: 1d20=19 The first roll is for last round, if you'll let me make that one, since I did post that he looks around the cavern, I just didn't make a roll. Oh well, your call DM.
