Theodorre looks to Kerzeme and pats him on the shoulder,"Your doing such a good job sorceror, I'l think i'll take my leave now." and with that he hops off the sled and runs at slight angle away from the dogsled, and in Theo's mind away from the large target.
move action: hop off sled 1d20=19 move action: 30' at an angle, 15' over and 15' towards bridge

Barendd's efforts are less fruitful than desired wheras the elven priestess has a renewed sense of urgency. Kurt is almost at the bridge but the pursuing monster is getting closer. The snowscape expolodes as a large monster erupts from the white landscape. A hideous vile creation emerging from pure unblemished powder. It rises on to its large powerful hind legs; scaly dark limbs tipped with vicious claws. It's trunk seems stitched together of various hides. A horrendous mixture of scales and leathery patches with a distended abdomen. One arm seems overly elongated and scaley with a vicious talon at the elbow and more evil looking claws at the end. The other arm is squatter and more thuggish; leathery and brawny. The monster's head is composed partly from a reptile, a giant humanoid and something with bulbous purple leathery flesh. The 'thing' 840ft Barennd 660ft Theo 640ft (and 20ft to the side away from the thin bridge)* Kerzeme and the dogs 600ft Taliea 540ft Alyanna 510ft Kurt 20ft no need to roll initiative, you guys act first next round. in your entire careers, you haven't fought anything that looks this dangerous before (hint hint ) * a character moving 30ft diagonally actually covers 20ft sideways and 20ft forward. however, send me a PM and i can reduce it to 15ft forward and sideways if you really wish

Kerzeme keeps the dogs moving away from the creature. Now that's nearby, it becomes a lot scarier that it was.

"Aagh!! It's some kind of Frankenworm."The half-elven wizard yells out, as he makes a mad dash to the only escape, the bridge. D8mn, that half-orc is fast. Theo thinks to himself.

Barrend runs with newfound speed, spurred by the monstrosity behind him. He realizes that he is beginning to catch up to the sled, which he suspects to be the creature's target.
Full: run up to 120 feet. 1d20=12, 1d20=16, 1d20=12, 1d20=3Total: 90 feet moved. How many jars were there in the crate?

Alyanna slows down and watches the golem rise from the snow. The thought of standing up to it seemed an impossibility. Anyone facing that monster wouldn't last very long. And that gave her an idea. "Hurry!", she shouts back. "I can summon monsters of my own to delay the ice beast but the summoning range is only about 50 feet."
Kurt slows down, reaching the bridge drawing his glaive. He looks at the 40-foot frozen span and with a wicked look he begins to cross preparing to find a weak spot to strike. Even the sure-footed half-orc has to tread carefully as the cross-winds whip his hair and clothing.
alyanna travels 60ft Kurt reaches the bridge then moves at half-speed across it (30ft)

Taliea continues heading towards the bridge, planning to shoot one of her sleep arrows once the creature is close enough to her.

The abomination roars with fury. A sound piercing and shrill that cuts through the icy air and almost tears at the listener. Rage, pain and madness are mixed up in that horrible shriek and small flurry of snow whips up with the force of the bellow. Then in a loping run it begins to lurch through the snow. Although it appears off balance it makes good progress and seems to be adept in these difficult conditions. Jaws snap and the long taloned arm swipes at passing snow drifts and the look of a violent satisfaction gleaming in its mismatched eyes. The chase is on.
Golem 760ft Barennd 570ft Theo 550ft (and 15ft to the side away from the thin bridge)* Kerzeme and the dogs 540ft Taliea 480ft Alyanna 450ft Kurt 0ft (plus 30ft across bridge) the creature is now visible, there is line of effect towards it with ranged attacks and it no longer has concealment or cover. There is no ice shield like before. It looks like it could have a very long reach if people want to post TWO rounds worth of actions then we could progress the game faster as i doubt it will catch you this round. it isn't running yet, just hustling and as it acts last it might decide to run or not. it's crazy that way![/color]

first round Kurt swings his glaive as hard as he can at the bridge. A chunk of ice dislodges and falls below in to the ravine. The half-orc has some work still to do and no doubt that is why he hurried on ahead to begin work on the bridge.
Alyanna continues to hustle onwards, keeping an eye on the approaching golem.
second round alyanna waits for the dog sled to catch up Kurt swings at athe bridge again with limited results. It is obviously strong and magical.
alyanna move 60ft kurt attacks the bridge - does a little bit of damage (twice)

Kerzeme tries to keep the animals running. At first, the animals seem more inclined to stay put and wait for a certain death, but the sorcerer eventually gets them to move.

Keeping a steady pace in the soft snow, Theodorre runs parallel to his friends, fifteen feet away. As he slowly gets closer to their salvation, the bridge, and sees the bulkier half-orc reach it, Theodorre expects to watch him cross the bridge, but to his horror Theo sees something entirely different. "What the...? Hey stop you crazy orc!" The half-elf yells as loud as he can. Mumbling to himself about the stinking orc's own self-preservation, Theo runs as fast as he can, trying to reach the bridge before the mad orc dooms us all by destroying their only means of escape. Worried, wondering why the brute would suddenly sacrifice the rest, including Alyana, to save his own thick hide. Trying to get there quickly, "Stop, stop, stop that you imbecile. Wait for us!", Theo stumbles a bit in the snow, but otherwise makes good progress.

Taliea watches in horror as Kurt begins hacking at the bridge, he'd better have a d**n good explanation for this, she thinks to herself. Gritting her teeth she continues toward the bridge.

A dozen seconds pass as this struggle for life and death plays out. Kurt still hacks at the bridge but even with his mighty blows he does little damage to the span.
It looks like the golem will soon catch the sled.
Golem 600ft Barennd 510ft Kerzeme and the dogs 480ft Alyanna 390ft Theo 370ft (and 15ft to the side away from the thin bridge)* Taliea 270ft Kurt 0ft (plus 30ft across bridge)

Alyanna takes a deep breath, making her bosom swell beneath her clothing. For a moment she savours her beautful physique before redirecting her attention to the approaching juggernaut. She waits, ready to help Kerzeme escape a quick and violent death
Kurt swings again at the bridge with all his might. The beefy half-orc only manages to damage the structure slightly but he continues with his task.
Alyanna waits where she is Kurt attacks the bridge again
