A slutty barmaid comes over and deposits a tray of drinks beore leaving with some coins offered by Kurt.

Alyana plyas with her mug, looking at the slutty waitress. She thinks to herself "I wish I could so much in touch of my sexuality and able to flaunt people. But I still cannot. I freeze and dry inside... lucky her"
SHe look at the adventurers, smilng "I never tought Kurt and I would see you alive. But Corellon Larethian works in interesting ways. Now, did one of you happened to pick up my share of the gold and gems?"
She looks at Theo who is too buzy checking the waitress and Talea clivage.

Having pushed his empty plate before him a little further away, indicating his dinner was finished, Theodorre pulls his half full mug closer. As the group sits, laughs, lies, and drinks together, Theo seems to have gotten very comfortable with this adventuring party he has fallen into with. He remembers back during thier first meeting, when they ran across a group of retired evil adventurers, that had somehow become in league with a band of nearby orcs and ogres. The evil-doers had found most of the treasure the bandits from years earlier had collected, but the adventurers in no way would let the monsters keep all the it, and had hidden it away in thier tavern. The leader, Jake, with Brock and the others, were leery when a noble half orc came into thier midst. They thought it strange that such an honorable half orc just happened by thier tavern, but they decided to try and wait him out, and hopefully he would leave soon. No such luck! Kurt met, long lost, and still lost, Alyana. Who then quickly met Theo then Kerzeme. Unfortunetly to the chagrin of Jake, the group of four left early the next morning, for fame and fortune. Or in Theo's case just a nice walk in the woods to sight see and enjoy the beauties of nature. Soon to meet up with the ranger, Taliea, and a crazy dwarf with notions of putting a permanent enlargement spell on himself. The six wiped out the orcs and ogres easily. When they returned to the tavern, Brock knew things were only gonna get worse and everything would be found out. He was mainly worried about a secret pack they had. Anyone killed anywhere near the site of the old bandit's hideouts would be butchered and taken to the smokehouse, all evidence gone forever. Theo closed his eyes, squinting hard as the memory of the smoked torsos hanging in the evil building linger in his ming, still haunting him to this day. The drunk wizard snakes his left hand down to his belly, gripping it lightly, hoping the terrible memories don't cause a turbulent reaction within his stomach. The feeling soon passes and he is soon lounging back in his chair. He smiles to himself as he thinks of how close to the large treasure they were, as they would surely have found it, I think. Theo's eyes shift to the right as he glares, only a moment, making sure not to be caught, at the arsenist, Kerzeme, who torched the building, elerting everyone in town. Alerting the town's authorities. Once they interrupted, the living bad guys and girls escaped and the good guys and gals were taken into custody. Once the whole truth was known the heroes were banished from Oakgrove. (Oh did I name my town the same as one of your oldies Cal?) Not even gien the chance to search the building. The town's authorities wanted to forget what was found in the smokehouse, scared it might turn people away from Oakgrove.
Turning back to his ale, lost in thought, suddenly, he is back in a breezy little seaside town. A very young naive apprentice, named Theodorre happened into a crowded tavern one day and met a group of green adventurers like himself. As they talked and discussed plans on how they could get an adventuring charter together, a man burst in, causing the seafarers and hard working city folk to grow silent as he explained a young girl was missing. Soon the young group of hereos were well known throughout the country side as they solved the crime, eventually all the way to a small hamlet called Oakgrove, fighting murderous kobolds in the barrens on the way. Theo shudders as he thinks of the secrets in Oakgrove and the beast they battled. Evil like he hasn't witnessed since. Except, a close call, when they fought off demons and minotaurs in Magnarak.
He flashes back to the present, eyes staring, focusing in on the mug he clutches tightly before him. With out moving his head, theo eyes slowly move upwards to take in his friends as they discuss all that has happened while they were split. He slowly smiles, This has been a grand adventure indeed, he thinks to himself, about his adventuring career. His eyes slowly lift up to peer at the serving girl as she seductively leans over to pour Theo another foaming ale. He drunken wizard leers at her ample cleavage and grins a develishly cute toothy grin that could make any serving girl giggel, even the slutty ones. He grabs his empty plate and hands it to the waitress, maybe trying to impress her, as if he would have to. A <Hiccup> escapes the inebriated mage, and he starts laughing outloud, falling back comfortably in his chair.

Alyana watches the bumbling puking wizard drool all over hiself and the barmaid. Based on her smile, it is obvious that Theodore will not spend the time alone. She smiles, happy for him. IF only she could .....
She pushes away these toughts and look at Kurt, the most noble and heroic person she ever met and her closest friend. Finding him again was a gift from Corellon Larethian himself, Alyana realized. He was the one that would be able to help control and eliminate the Silver Raven.
A strange thing had happened in Magnarak. As The Silver Raven was ready to escape with the other companions, Alyana sisterly love for Kurt took over and for the first time, Alyana was able to send the Silver Raven back in the abyss of her mind in a moment of stress. Since then, Alyana has felt stronger, more complete, as if she was slowly but surely reintegrating the Silver Raven.
She looks at Talea and envies her elf sister. She looks so confident, so strong, so feminine. She has no confusion about who she is and given her natural look can get any man she wants. Alyana hopes that Latea will be able to help her finally put that awful trauma behind and learn again to love and lust without crushing under mental pain or becoming a murderous maiden. May be she will get the courage to appraoch Talea one day to have her help her relearn that. It will be awkward but Alyana wants to be a full woman again.
Barendd is an interesting dwarf and has helped with the process. She will never forgive Astar who lead the other adventurers into abandoning Alyana to the goblins and all the tortures, abuse and monstruosities that follows. She hated dwarf because of Astar but Barendd has be the opposite of Astar. MAy be it is because Barendd is a different kind of dwarf, one would want to be permentantly enlarged.
Finally she focuses on KErzeme, the selfish, self centered and uncaring pompous sorcerer. He is not to be trusted but he can deliver punishement on a larger scale. And who knows, may be he can learn to be less selfish.
Yes, Corellon Larethian surely has interesting ideas but this motley group can indeed work.

The merchantman is plain to recognise by his rich tunic and embroidered cloak. He comes straight up to the half-orc
"Alright! a thousand gold crowns. That is my final offer."
The rogue looks at the overweight man with disdain. "You cannot tempt me with ill-gotten coin. I do not work for thieves."
Perplexed, the merchant (oblivious to the others) suddenly crumples. "Oh please! I'll be bankrupt by the moon's waning! If I don't get someone to go to Icendia then I'll never receive my payment."
"I told you. I don't babysit"
"But then my caravan will be lost again and I shall be ruined."
"Begone for you are upsetting my kai"
The merchant's fallen face paints a picture of defeated hope. As he turns he mumbles under his breath Twenty dead. Any more widows and i'll lose the rest of my workforce. at least i'll save on their wages
Kurt suddenly looks up from his drink "Hold. A score dead you say? That is many to simply get frozen on cold winter's day"
The fat man glumly replies. " I can't explain it. The carvan route has become much more dangerous. Nobody came back from the last two expeditions. No-one's wanted to help since word of that got out."
The half-orc begins to stand up making the merchant cower "Easy big guy! i wasn't trying to lie to you, and you didn't ask! Please... please... not the face!"
"Come back in an hour, I shall talk to my friends."
Kurt returns to the table with a wicked smile

If any of the primary goals the selfish, self centered and uncaring pompous sorcerer is to learn to be less selfish, he's hiding it pretty well. His most immediate goal, is, apparently, consuming a large amount of alcohol, as he grabs his drink off the tray and pours about half of it down his throat. As Kurt returns, he answers his wicked smile with raised eyebrows. "What have you got?" after a pause, he shakes his head violently and speaks again. "Scratch that, I don't care, I trust it you're probably not stupid enough to get us all killed. The main question here is: how much does he pay, and are you sure there's not much more we can squeeze out of that walking bag of gold?" He takes another drink, then lifts the mug to his bat, hanging upside-down above him. The bat doesn't seem interested in it, and he puts it down again.

Glad that their troop is reunited and safe, the ranger takes sips from a cup of mead as the others chat. She watches the exchange between Kurt and the stranger, but unable to hear what is said, she waits until Kurt returns, grinning, to the table. "What did he want, Kurt?" she asks.

Kurt quickly glosses over the salient facts.
"That fat cutpurse is Palorius. He approached me last night in the marketplace looking for adventurers to take a shipment of goods to an outpost in the icy wastes of Telterik. There is a gnome there willing to pay god money to receive certain comforts of home.
I told him that such menial tasks are below an explorer of my standing but he apparently has trouble finding anyone else to take his offer.
And today he tells me that there is danger! The true reason why the locals will not help him.
He offers a bag of a thousand coins for our troubles."

"Would you like to rub my pet?" He drunk wizard asks the serving girl with a sly wink. Theodorre then reaches into his oversized pouch, that he usually wears slung over his shoulder, hanging down to his opposite hip, and pulls out Koda, his brown and white weasel. As she leans forward to pet the adorable furry creature, her entire cleavage is then exposed, causing the normal large devilish grin to appear back on Theo's face. But when he hears part of Kurt's ramblings, Theo turns abruptly, yelling, "A thousand gold for each of us? CHEERS!!" As he thrusts his mug into the air, sloshing some of it's contents onto the table. If others clink their mug to his or not, he brings the mug to his lips downing the ale in just a couple seconds. When finished, he wipes his sleeve across his mouth and finally an, "Ahhh." as he slams his empty mug to the table.

Alyana is a little taken back but Theo behavior with the barmaid. She nearly buried her nample clivage in the sorcerer face and Alyana feels a little inadeqaute as she is not as rounded there. She is also a little disgusted by Theo vulgar behavior. I cannot believe I had confused feelingfor him. Good thing he showed is true nature .
When Kurt explains the job, Alyana hesitates "I usually do not like to help merchants who make fortune on the blood and sweat of workers but the thougths of these poor workers wives ended up widows is too much for me too bear. I will help the scum bag but he must give all of the wves workers a danger bonus of 20 gold pieces."

"Dear, dear," the sorcerer chuckles at Alyana's words. "How can you not realize that that money can have a much better use!" He makes a short, dramatic pause, which he uses to take a drink, and then shouts, "Us!"

Alyana's smiles at Kerzeme "I did not mean to take it our of our pay. I meant he should use his own money for these poors women."
"Too bad he is so selfish and self-centered because he is quite charismatic. Well, may be actually he could be perfect because there would be no attachment. Well except that he would probably only focus on himself and I definitively need one that would primarly focus on me. Yeah, I need a love smitten one. This won't work. I need to talk to Talea .... but how do I apporach her? She is so feminine and so sure of herself!"

"And I'm suggesting to add that money to our pay." The sorceror doesn't give up his attempts to fill his purse a little more. "Either way, we'll talk to him when the time comes."

Kurt waits until Theo is sober before explaining that for 1000gp in total split amongst the party members, they have to pick up some cargo from a warehouse in the settlement of Icendia in the arctic wilds of Telterik and take it to the laboratory of Lorran Brightsprocket located about 10miles away and return to the merchant Palorius in the City of Tencarters for payment.
An airship will take them to Hoarbrim (within 2 miles of Icendia), then a team of sherpas will help the party in the 4 mile trek over a mountain pass to get to Icendia. Dog-sleds will help with taking the cargo to Brightsprocket 10 miles away. Return travel mirrors the outbound journey. Palorius has made all the travel arrangements and hopes you can leave within 48 hours.
"So that is the deal. I can let the greedy bag of lard know if we wish to take him up on his offer." Kurt finishes his drink calmly and places his empty tankard ready for the barmaidsto collect. However the slutty waitress is nowhere to be seen and an older greying women comes to collect the vessels and tips.
