ok, on my next turn, Dra'gen is stepping back to I30 between Padre and Valandir because hopefully he just dropped a guard with a massive blow (Please roll high damage mr. DM!!). Maybe Padre and Valandir can swap positions? I suggest Sirali moves behind Ryx before this turn is over... That way we got Padre or Valandir and Dra'gen getting possible AoOs and if they move up to allow another pal up, which they prolly would, Ryx and Padre can basically pound them into oblivion. That way, Padre is sort of protected but can still attack with that skull crushing mace.
Right now is a prime opportunity to take advantage of my blocking the stairs till probably the midway point of the round, so if we are gonna reposition, now is perfect

can't Talon take a 5' step out of the way after he attacks this round. We can reposition ourselves this round, we move before the enemy does.
You can attack and move 30' in the same round. Talon, after you make your attack, you could move almost anywhere in the room.
May I make a suggestion, if you don't move this round, YOU are the only person they can attack, you might not make it to the next round!!!!!

He could have, but I dropped that nat 20 and figured that I have a really good chance of dropping that guard and I was hoping to get an AoO on an advancing guard

advancing guard will attack you and, did you forget about the two mages who just hit you with spells, they will atack again, plus your still taking damage from the flame sphere.
Dude, Please move out of the way after your attack..................

btw, if you look at the order of initative, Ryx, Sirali and Valandir would have to postpone their actions cause Dragen acts after us.
Another option is Dragen fights these guys with padre healing him, and the rest of us go to the rooftop to save the gnome and the men, and kill the main necromancer and his guards

2 guards and 2 wizards? Not real sure my chances are all that good against the magic users

WOw!! Good Discussion Here!
Regarding honor vs skirmish, I would say that if you are fighting evil cultist, having honor is accepting their surrender. IF you are fighting to the death, you want to put the odds in your favor, even if that mean doing a 3 on 1.

always thought that splitting a party is a bad idea but it is your call.
Also, the 3 guards and 2 mages is what Dra'gen can see. They might be more or may be that is it.

3 of us against 1 soldier is kinda boring.
the split up? it looks like Dragen is gonna stay at the top of the steps and fight them all. I'm just trying to figure out what I (Ryx) can do. I'm getting bored watching Padre then Dragen stand at the top of the steps so that they are the only ones to fight, sorry.
Guess Ryx can check the rooms

Dra'gen and Padre moved (which was the intended effect from the flaming sphere strategy. A cultist came in, took the AoO and now the gate is open.

It is good discussion, but I'm still not sure of the plan. Do we have one?
