starting XP= 2000
races/classes= core rulebooks only
starting gold (to buy ALL equipment and gear)= 1000gp
with this money you can buy:
normal masterwork weapons and armour
normal or masterwork gear
other stuff from the players handbook
(cheap
) gear made from special materials such as mithril or darkwood or cold iron
potions worth up to 100gp each
arcane/divine scrolls worth up to 100gp each -- you can spend some of your starting XP and starting gold to make your own scrolls for cheaper if you like
no other magic items can be bought with starting gold
this invitation is an open invitation but is valid only for the next adventure entitled "The Trees have Legs"
some basic house rules:
players must ALWAYS be co-coperative
action and role-playing are equally important although this campaign does lend more to action
