i'm rather fond of my players. real and virtual ones. i've just finished playing the thirteenth adventure with my tabletoppers. when i got up the next day, i wandered in to the dining room and noticed that i'd left my battlemap and miniatures still there as well as a sea of multicoloured numbered polyhedrons. It was a fitting sight because it was one of the best adventures to DM in the entire campaign IMHO. currently the virtual band are at the very early stages of P2 'shopping trip', so they have eleven more adventures to get to before they even come across this great adventure (well to me it was great. ) It started off defeating the athach in the courtyard outside, crossing the cracked plaza to the big brass bound doors then exploring the mult-level tower of "the Witch" -- a mysterious individual that apparently eliminated several of the druid heirophants decades ago, stole their lore then decided to never never venture from her valley again. that makes we wonder if we will EVER finish the campaign on-line? I reckon it might be another 3 or 4 adventures before the campaign 'season finale' but that could be several years here on -line ;D i kinda wonder if my virtual players are going to miss out on this rich and wonderful campaign story. I know the campaign story 'works' but maybe i should ignore it for the virtual community? Maybe you all don't want to have run-ins with Evelyn of Cellulite and the Mad Sorceror what do people think (inc. the non-players on the site)?

Cal, I have a simple quote for you "NO ONE TELLS A STORY LIKE CAL ...." I know PbP is slow but with a creative and great story teller DM it does not really matter. SO may be our charcter will never become epic but it does not bother me.
I rather have a great story taking its sweet time that a fast crawl without meaning.
Axara has marked Evelyn the Cellulite for a pay back so bring her back. The mad sorcerer? Just hearing it makes me want Axara to meet him/her.
Kept up the great storytelling ......

Or we could, like, make new characters that aren't level 1? Sorry Cal, just said that to wind you up. Heh heh. ;D
