Rathwill looks at Ryxikor “Pluck a feather? Interesting! ..
He approaches Kerraur who is pulling his wings as close as possible. ‘Hold it! Padre nods and grabs Kerraur looking at the Raptorian with a sorry look in his eyes.
Ryxikor has started going up the stairs but stops.
Dra’gen tries to convince Rathwill not to touch Kerraur but the necromancer pulls one feather from the sorcerer’s wing For my collection
He looks at Sirali and Valandir. My oh my … that thing must be quite dangerous if Kia is sending it to Ryngoth in such a good shape and with such a large escort. Go on! Don’t make the High Priest wait
Rathwill returns to the table and goes back to his writing.
The group continues upstairs. Ryxikor, Dra’gen, Padre and Kerraur enter the 3rd floor landing with Sirali and Valandir on the stairs.
Two guards watch this landing. Another flight of stairs goes upward. and there are closed doors on the west, east, and north walls. The north door has a faintly glowing skull rune inscribed upon it. The closest guard holds out his hand in a warning position. "Praise to the dragons! You are not permitted to enter this level of the Tower of Bones. State your business here immediately or face punishment." The other guard stands ready to fight .

"Praise to the Dragons!" Ryxikor says with feigned enthusiasm.
As the group makes it's way upstairs, between the two landings, Ryx turns and whispers to Kerraur, "Sorry about that. I was just being sarcastic, I never meant for himn to actually do it. Don't worry we'll kill him and get yuor feather back, we won't let that b*stard keep it!" He then turns and continues up the steps.
Once they come to the next landing,as soon as Ryx sees more guards he hides his dagger once again in the folds of his cloak. Once the guard tells them they are not permitted here, Ryx quickly pipes in with a slight hint of anger in his voice, "Praise to the dragons! What? This is exactly where we're supposed to be." he says staring at the guard. Ryxikor slowly, nonchalantly, gets closer to the guard as he pleads his case, so if things go bad he can leap at him with an attack.
"We're here on Kia M?'s orders! We were ordered to escort this 'thing' directly, without deviation, to Ryngoth. Do you think we're happy with this assignment, we'd rather be on patrol out in the forest." he says hoping he isn't saying too much, if you say too much, there's more of a chance to make a mistake. "Apparently this is very dangerous or important or both to require an excort such as us, but we intend to see this assignment thru to the end." The wily rogue turns to look over his shoulder, as he does and he is certain the guards can't see his features, Ryx starts making faces at Kerraur. At least that's what it looks like, until closer inspection, Ryx is actually moving his eyes, looking up towards the ceiling and back to Kerraur, then back up, toards the ceiling. Ryx continues to move slowly, so that if anything happens and the guards both turn to Kerraur, maybe Ryx can get an attack in if needed.
occ: how many levels does the tower of bones have? Can everyone roll aid another and help Ryxikor's bluff score in the ruse? bluff: 1d20(18)+9=27 sleight of hand (dagger): 1d20(5)+11=16, oh thats close
edit: Ryx will slowly move, as he talks to J30, then try to move to J29

Realizing he was holding his breath, Dra'gen lets the air escape in an inaudible sigh of relief and continues up the stairs. Once they reach the other guards, he stops and again lets his wily friend Ryx do the talking. As Ryx makes the signal to Kerraur, Dra'gen moves slightly as if to shift his weight to make sure that the signal is seen by he feathered friend and closes his hands slightly, ready to attack if the situation turns against them.

Sirali takes hold of Kerraur and pretends to be pushing him along as though hurrying. "He's right," the Druid says indicating Ryx to the guards. "We can't stand around here all day explaining ourselves to you, we need to get a move on."Turning to move on as if that comment should be the end of the conversation she quickly adds, "For the Dragon!"

Ryxikor apologizes to Kerraur and promises revenge for his lost feather.
When the guards stop them, Ryxikor tries the same bluff that worked with Rathwill, i.e. they are bringing Kerraur for zombification.
Dra’gen lets Ryxikor talk but prepares himself to attack if needed.
Sirali tries to provide support for Ryxikor’s bluff hoping to convince the guards.
The guard nearest to Ryxikor seems to hesitate but does not move. I don’t care whose orders you received. Kia might run the castle. But Ryngoth runs the Tower. He told us that no one is allowed upstairs. So for the last time, leave or you will force us to attack.
Valandir and Kerraur stay silent. Padre looks down the stairs, worried about reinforcement coming up.

Dra'gen, hungry, tired, and more than a little tired of this place and the guards crawling all over the place lowers his voice and puts on his most menacing glower and says to the guard Look, we are following orders. How about we leave this here birdman here with you and you can explain why the prisoner is here and not becoming transformed. You might also want to consider the fact that I will be taking my manacles with me so you can a great time trying to subdue him, if he doesn't pluck your eyes out first.
==== wasn't sure which was more appropriate so I just rolled for each since he essentially is trying to do both at the same time anyways

As Ryx swiftly moves in to flank position Dra'gen says to the guard Too late! Then swings his doubled up fists at the guards face like he is going to clobber him with fists. Just before contact, a red glowing beam of energy in the form of a bastard sword appears in his hands slamming into the guards face with deadly precision.

Seeing that events have descended into violence, Sirali lets go of Kerraur and turns her attentions to the matter at hand. Hoping to give her allies an advantage, the elf casts a flare spell at the guard nearest to her, in an attempt to dazzle him.
Cast Flare Fortitude negates DC 13 Creature is dazzled for 1 minute (-1 to attack, search and spot).

Kerraur reacts to being released with a quick frown, and then begins weaving magic to give his friends some respite. As he finishes his spell, a roaring laugh, as if produced by twenty people. After this initial burst of noise, there's a bird-like scream, and a cacophony of insults and jokes, with the names Kia and Ryngoth surfacing in amicable tones a few times. To add to the noise without sounding like too many people at once, and fit with any of the combat noises that filter through, he throws in the sound of someone dropping something made of metal and being mocked for being a clutz.
standard: cast Ghost Sound to imitate the noise of people talking amicably, tormenting a birdman, generally being rather noisy. I can generate a noise of up to that made by 20 people, and that'll be the level I pick. 20 people.

Dra’gen tries to convince the guards that they should ignore their orders and let them go through. He is quite convincing and the guards seem to be hesitating, wondering if they should ignore Kia or Ryngoth orders. It is a true dilemma for them as either choice carries great risks.
However, Ryxikor makes the call for them. He tumbles past the guards (in I28) and attacks G2 with his dagger. However, the guard’s armor deflects Organripper.
Following Ryxikor’s action the group goes into motion. Valandir moves into the room and fires an arrow that breaks itself on the guard armor without doing any damages.
Dra’gen moves in flanking position with Ryxikor on G2 (I30) and smiles as he pretends to want to hit the guard with his fist. An evil smile show up on the cultist face which turns into fear as a psionic sword appears and cut him deep.
Sirali tries to dazzle G1 but the seasoned fighter is able to shake out the attempt.
Kerraur moves farther away from the guards (K31) and whispers a few arcane words. Suddenly the room is full of sounds like the room is full of people and a screaming bird.
Padre shakes his head at the Raptorian ‘ So much for stealth Brother! Padre moves next to the guard (H30) and swings his mace. He fails to connect and is lucky not to lose his weapon. He says ‘ Dra’gen. Plug in the stairways to away the reinforcements from overpowering us. I will stay behind you to heal you.
The first guard swings at Padre and misses yelling “Intruders. The second guard swings at Dra’gen and connects, bleeding the psionic. Giving the cacophony coming from Kerraur’s spell, it is not obvious if the guard cry for help can be heard.
Initiative: Valandir, Dra'gen, Ryxikor, Sirali, Kerraur, Padre, enemies
Dra’gen: -6HP – Currently at 33/39
