Once Ryx hears everything, and had the opportunity to finish eating, looting and anything else he needs to take care of, the rogue starts to look for well worn paths that show signs of recent use.

Ryxikor looks for a path and although he is not a ranger and does not have tracking abilities, he can find an obvious path in the forest.
Padre looks at the rest of the group. 'So what do we do with these two? Should we tie them in the cave by the statue? I wonder if some other patrol would find them. We cannot let them go free or we will lose the element of surprise. So does anyone has any idea.

We could go back to town, turn them in and come back since we kbnow how to get back down here, although I doubt anyone wants to take time to do that. Other than that, I think tying them up in the cave by teh statue is probably the best idea.

"If we just tie them up and leave them in the cave, they'll surely find an escape and we'll have to fight them again." Ryxikor adds. "If anyone needs any supplies, I suggest we go back to town and we can drop them off there. Remember we now know we're gonna have to deal with undead, so be prepared."
The elf looks around to the entire group to guage preparedness, "I'm ready if everyone else is." With that, if everyone is ready, Ryx will help tie up the prisoners then head out on the path. If everyone is not ready, Ryx starts thinking of anything he needs for a trip back to town.

At Ryxikor's mention of the undead, Sirali spits and becomes suddenly volitile. "What's to be gained by keeping these two alive much longer? They've served their usefulness, they answered our questions. We killed their comrades, why not finish them off too? If we're ready to move on let's do it, if we don't need to head back to town, then why waste our time with the likes of them?" Taking a deep breath to calm down, she adds, "I think I'm ready."

Sirali starts getting upset and mentions killing the prisoners. Padre takes her by the shoulders. Relax Lady Elf. They might be evil cultists but we are not about to kill them. Lady Savenleye has given her word that nothing will happen to them if they surrender and we will not made a oath breaker out of her.
The group decides to bring the prisoners back to Jaspervik via the portal. They go back into Mystra’s cave but notice that there is no brazier with salt nor they are salt on the ground. After a few futile efforts, they realize that this portal is a one-way portal.
The question of the prisoners reemerge and Padre proposes the following ‘There is a little trick I learned and as a cleric of the Trickster, I like it a lot. Men tend to act very different when they are in their birthday suit. We are worried about the cultists blowing our cover. How about we tie them here but naked? I know that it will not look good to the cultists brass to have a couple of rank and file showing up defeated AND naked.
He turns towards Sirali and Savenleye I apologize in advance my Ladies for subjecting your delicate eyes to such atrocious sights.
Padre orders the men to get undressed and will use Ryxikor as motivator is needed. Once they are naked, the group ties them to the statue, gag them and leave the cave with their clothes.
They start walking on the path that Ryxikor found and a few minutes in the forest, they hear a voice quietly calling out from some brush at the side of the path. "What in the Nine Hells are you doing? If you go marching out there, the Cultists are going to kill you! Come over here and we'll talk. "

As the soldiers strip down into their birthday suits, Dra'gen takes a moment to imbue his blades with Psychic Strike. He considers for a moment his weapons of choice and decides maybe it's a good time to switch to a bastardsword.
As he hears the voices he stops and looks at his friend Kerraur with a puzzled look and readies himself, but holds off on summoning the blade of energy.

Walking down the path, Ryx searches for clues and signs of passage, when he hears the voice he quickly turns in that direction and draws his dagger, "Who's there?" he asks, but he heeds the advice and steps off the path towards the voice.

A gnome wearing a dark cloth appears. "My name is Tarbash. Come over quick unless you want to spend all your energy fighting patrols. "
He starts moving deeper in the forest, waving the adventurers.

Intrigued, Ryxikor follows the gnome who seems to know much about the cultists and the patrols. The elf, being a thief himself, trusts no-one and makes sure everything on him is secured tightly. He makes sure the others are following and continues to follow Tarbash, "I know your name is Tarbash, but who are you and what are you doing here?"

Tarbash leads the group into a clearing and stands in front of them. He is wearing a dark clock over his armor. “As I said, my name is Tarbash. With my cousin Robalend, we have been making a good living by scavenging items from the abandon city nearby. You might have heard of it in bard tales, it is the legendary Myth Drannor. ”
He waits to see if this impresses the heroes, but they already knew that so Tarbash continues. “ This all changed a month ago when the Cult of the Dragon set up shop in the western part of the city and started digging up tombs in the cemetery. The Cultists have also created a bunch of undead guards that patrol the nearby forest and parts of the city. They are obviously up to some evil plot; the city doesn't feel quite the same as it used to. He stops and shakes his head “Worst of all, my cousin was captured by the Cult and is being interrogated in the Tower of Bones-the Cult stronghold in the cemetery. I fear that the Cult is going to sacrifice him or turn him in to a zombie slave.
He stops and looks at every group members “You look like good guys so I have two questions for you: What are you doing here and would you help me rescue my cousin.

Kerraur follows cautiously. The tips of his wings brush against the trees occasionally as he keeps them unfurled, ready to take off should the need arise: he has little trust for the gnome. "You've been looting the city, a rare find, without telling any of the major historical societies?"

Looking at the gnome who's been looting the city, Ryxikor wonders what he and his cousin have found. "Well, my name is Ryxikor." After the others introduce themselves, Ryx talks some more, "I've heard much of the fabled city when I was younger. We've been looking into the disappearances of some men, and now suspect they have been brought here to help dig." The elf looks to his companions then back to the gnome, "I'm sure we could look for your cousin while we're here, but we've been paid to do this service, so we must find out what happened to these men. Plus, we don't usually work for free." he adds at the end.
"Could you lead us to this cemetary?"

Tarbash shrugs "I am a business man, not a scholar. I found the place. I risked my life in the place. I keep the spoils of my finds. Unlike others, I did not kill nor loot anyone, alive or dead ...
The gnome winks at Kerraur.
