"Where would you get the magic? Who would control it?" Kerraur wonders.

Savenleye frowns. Torture was not usually the route she chose... Though this guy did seem to be a total fanatic. They were always the hardest to reason with since all logic had been brainwashed from their fanatical heads.
"Are you sure you don't know anything more? What's the name of this Dragon? I would like to know, so that I might beg it's mercy."
Bluff check: 1d20+8 → [3,8] = (11) Terrible roll.. =P
Also, bardic knowledge check to see if I know on my own: 1d20+7 → [13,7] = (20)

The soldier shrugs "I am no wizard. We dig for the magic items and the wizards take the items. It will bring back the Dragons and the Dead Dragon will rule!
Padre looks at the rest of the group We got two prisoners here. Of course their allegiance are with the cult so releasing them will hurt us as they will run to alert the cultists. We got to make sure they don't hurt our plan and .. , he looks at Ryxikor hurting them is out of the question. Does anyone has any ideas?

The soldier stays silent at Savenleye's question but the guard snickers. Knowing his name and begging for mercy won't save you. You will likely be eaten first. I would love to see your face when you come head to head with Pelandralaar, once he is a Ressurected Dead Dragon. Begging will only make it more fun....
Padre shakes his head ..... Cultists .......

Walking around, almost pacing, listening to the interogation, Ryx scoops up a twig gingerly in his left hand and whittles it down to a sharp instrument, all for theatrical purposes now as the prisoner seems to be cooperative. At the mention of magic items, Ryx turns on his heel, "Magic items? What type of items? What have been recovered so far?"

Savenleye thinks about the name Pelendralaar but it does not ring a bell at all.

The soldier and guard look at Ryxikor and both smiles How would we know? We do not do the digging. That is what slaves and undead are for ... We just protect the Dragon's interest. Make sure trouble makers like you don't get in the way ...

Seeing this is taking a while, the elf decides to use his time wisely. He takes arrows out of his quiver and a vial out of his haversack. Ryx then carefully, meticulously coats each one of the arrowheads with the poison in the vial.
"Who controls these slaves and undead?" Ryx asks, "What kind of undead ?"

The guard shrugs "Who controls undead? Clerics of course! The slaves work for the Dragon. And when they cannot work anymore for the Dragon, they work as undead. Everyone wins! Ah, ah, ah ...

Savenleye thinks carefully about what to ask next. They were asking lots of questions, and getting a lot of useless answers in response...
"Who do you answer to, and where can we find them? Where do you send these things when they are uncovered?"

The guard hesitates but the soldier speaks voluntarily under Savenleye persuasion "We all answer to the Dragons. They will come back and rule the realm. We answer to the wizards and do as told. They know about the magic and how to use it to bring a Dead Dragon to power. They all respond to Kia Mordrayn so I guess I ultimately answer to her after answering to the Dragons. The wizards take the magic objects back to the ruined elven city, called Myth Drannor"
When Sirali and Ryxikor hear the name of the city, both look shocked. Myth Drannor is a mythical elven city, famous for its magic and its ultimate destruction to the hand of an army of darkness let by a powerful red dragon.
Myth Drannor is famous for its mythal. A mythal is created by a circle of elven High Mages to protect and ward a large area with numerous powerful enchantments. A typical mythal prevents certain schools of magic from being employed, affects everyone within its bounds to certain magics, and may allow everyone or certain classes of people to call magical effects from the mythal as though using a magical item. It may restrict access of the warded area to certain classes of beings. Some powerful wizard believe that many Mythal spells corrode over time, and if not maintained can become corrupted. However, this was never proven.

Hearing the talk of undead and then Myth Drannor, Ryx decides to let the others finish the interogating while he tends to other things now. He tosses the useless sharpened twig and starts to check out everything he stripped of the guard, armor, especially weapons, and anything else profitable. Ryx tucks the embroidered cloak in his haversack, thinking it might come in handy someway, and starts to collect everything off the dead and captured.
could we have the loot list now please

Ryxikor, unphasen by the idea that he is so close to Myth Drannor decides to inventory the loot from the dead and the prisoner. He finds 5 Chainmails, 1 Half-plate, 1 Studded Leather, 6 Large Shields, 6 MW Longswords, 1 MW Shortsword, 7 Shortbows, 117 Arrows, 1 MW Claw Bracer, 1 CLW potion, 8 Pearls*, 1 Darkvision potion, 1 MM Wand (10/50 L4), 7 50 feet Ropes, Amulet of Natural Armor +1 and 361 GP.
Savenleye uses one of the pearl to identify the amulet and find out that it is an Amulet of Natural Armor +1.
In addition, Hangrath was wearing a cloak similar to the gaurd and Padre pockets it.
If everything was sold at 1/2 market value, each adventurer would pocket 670 GP.
OOC: PEarls are not included in the loot. They are party treasure and will be used by Savenleye to identify new magic items. If you want the Amulet, it is 1000GP. The CLW is 25. Wand is 525. The rest is useless to the group I believe but the spreadsheet will be up this weekend and you can decide what you want. Cloak have no value.

"I believe I could get some more usefulness out of that wand." Kerraur suggests, after the party has examined the spoils of combat. He reaches for the item that has injured him so badly. "So if there are no objections, and my share of the spoils is larger than its value, I will take it."

At the mention of Myth Drannor, Sirali's interest is piqued. As Ryxikor goes over to examine the loot, the Druid takes her turn to ask questions. "Do you know the whereabouts of Myth Drannor? And who is this Kia Mordrayn to who you are answerable?" Sirali is content to let the others take their share of loot first.
