Sorry i didnt post yesterday, I can use the excuse I was waiting on Noda, It was in the 70's and I was outside all day. I'll get one up this evening. *Phew* Glad I wasn't the only one who didn't post yesterday. Can I blame Noda too? Just kidding, I went to see a movie after work, then had dinner out and didn't get home til late. It was a French movie actually, (well French/Belgian to be precise). It's called L'Enfant (or The Child), it's a "realism" movie, so very simple, no soundtrack/special effects. Anyone else seen it? It wasn't bad I thought, the storyline was interesting, but it seemed to drag in places I thought...

I'm pretty sure that depends on which definition of bake you are using, achinca.

I just noticed something that could be a problem with my character build. I built him off of the SRD, since that is what I thought we were using. However, the house rules say core rule books only. The SRD includes the core rule books, the XPH, some of UA, and bits of assorted other books. In particular, I used a UA alternate class feature (wolf totem barbarian), racial variant, (earth dwarf), and a feat from possibly Complete Divine (can't recall), which was in there as well. That is the Knock-down that I have mentioned in my posts, which allows me to make trip attempts as a free action after hitting someone for 10 or more damage. Because of that, I'm pretty sure it doesn't work for AoOs, as I can't take a free action during another person's turn. Anyway, is that build kosher? For reference, the racial variant is here: www.d20srd.org/indexes/variantRaces.htm under elemental variants, races of earth. The wolf totem barbarian is here: www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#wolfTotemClassFeatures and the feat is here: www.d20srd.org/srd/divine/divineAbilitiesFeats.htm#knockDown

well the house rules were written AFTER the campaign had already started so i believe an amnesty regarding character generation id fair, especially as it wasn't the players that wanted to start the game before 'all the stalls had been set out'.
as long as you post the rules for your character in your character sheet, i think i dont have a problem. anyone else?

It's fine by me Noda. Also, I think if someone wants to add something to their character later, (such as a feat from a non-core rulebook), they should be allowed to request it for everyone else's approval. We should be allowed to allow/disallow them on a case-by-case basis instead of just ruling them all out full stop. What do you reckon?
