Jukia looks around and shakes and her, whispering back to the group. "Unfortunately, I do not see any sign. So do we go east or west?"

Augustine attempts to find tracks, but has a difficult time, as most of the ones he sees are indistinct and blurry. Survival check to track (1d20 + 5=12)Add 2 to that from the ranger favored enemy Going to be out of town for the weekend, back late sunday.

Augustine spends some time examining the tracks but he is not able to read them as well as he wanted. Here is what he finds:
1) The double tunnel to the north shows the most activity, as Stadvas as assumed. 2) The tunnel to the east as much less activity but I could see the track of a biped, much bigger than the goblins. I could not tell what kind of biped. 3) The tunnel to the west used to have some activity but has not been used in a few days.
Anxioulsy, Jukia asks "So, which way do we go?"

"Let's go to the left first, that is the least likely to have goblins, but we should make sure they aren't going through a back way or something, the last thing we want is goblins coming from behind us when we are fighting."

Stadvas spends a few seconds in thought, then he nods to Augustine, agreeing with his proposal. Then, he proposes a solution to the problem his friend mentions. "We could attempt to make some kind of trap, which doesn't look like a trap but rather like a pile of rubble and which would make noise when something or someone passes trough here. We've got a risk-reward problem here, as the risk is our trap can tell the goblins someone is inside, even if we do manage to conseal it as a pile of rubble, something they could not be aware of, but on the other hand, we don't get jumped on the back ourselves." After a short pause, the tall man adds with a grin, "Or we could place someone in the back, someone with accute hearing. The problem with that is that someone would need to focus on what is happening behind us and not on any fights."

Jukia and Odlin look at the two adventurers with a confused look. The woman hesitates and finally speaks her mind. "How would you make your trap? Would it make some noise making the trap? Is this too much of a gamble? We could have someone watch our back and remember, we don't have to eradicate that tribe. We need to find out why they turned hostile and solve the issue. But I am just a small town girl talented with divine powers. You are more expereienced than me. Do what you think is right!"
OOC: If you want to build the trap, I need to know what kind and what you use as material. Will also need move silently roll. If you skip the trap idea, Jukia will close the march and be the lookout person.

When reminded that they aren't there to kill all of the goblins, Augustine doesn't say anything, rather turning away and grimacing.
I knew that making him neutral rather than good was going to be the right decision.

For a while, it stays quiet as Stadvas shifts his eyes from one face to another, until, finally, the large man states with a shrug, "Since nobody is apparently very fond that idea, let's just choose someone to walk in the back and listen." Stadvas seems barely dissapointed at the poor welcome his suggestion has gotten. He looks around the group once more before asking, "Who wants to close our ranks?"

The group goes to the west, hoping to be as quiet as possible. Augustine leads the way, hoping to slain as many goblins as possible, Stadvas follows, always calculating and recalculating the odds, following by Odlin who looks lost in his thought and finally Jukia closes the march. The beautiful cleric is constantly looking back her shoulder, afraid to see an army of goblins or worse attack her. After walking about 50 feet in the tunnel, the group see a single door size opening to the north where a much-patched curtain of many colors serves as door. 5 feet to the south are two heavy close stone doors. The tunnel ends and goes north. The terrain is now "as is" showing humanoid reinforcement or reports. The tunnel is now a natural tunnel. Walking walking, Augustine can confirm that the part of the tunnel going to the stone door and the curtain door has not been walked in quite sometimes. He also deducts that he section of the tunnel which is natural has not been investigated in a long, long time.

"Doesn't look like we have to worry much about this passage being used to flank us, do you want to explore further, or go where we are more likely to find someone that can answer questions for us?"

Stadvas casts his vote, whispering "Trying to find information in probably abandoned rooms could have some result, but I would expect it to have close to none. I think we should turn back." Confident about the security further forward, he has, now that they have stopped, turned around and his eyes peer into the darkness over the other's heads.

The group decides not to further look into the natural caves and does not investigate at the moment what is behind the curtain and the stone doors.
They do back to the intersection, having to decide if they want to go east or north.

"All right, so the path to the north looks to have the most goblin traffic, which means it likely goes to the living quarters, kitchens, community areas and whatnot, while this path to the east looks like it has a larger biped along with the other goblins. That could likely be bullying the goblins into attacking, against their normally cowardly natures."
Is that information accurate that I gave? I don't think I said anything contradicted by the tracking results, but I could have missed something.

With a confident grin, the group's warrior solemnly nods in response, once again following both Augustine's point of view and decision, before slowly, quietly and carefully setting off in the unexplored one of the narrower tunnels.
