With a sheepish grin on his face, Ryxikor tucks the flute into his backpack, along with the tindertwigs and one flask of acid. Wiping his hands in the air, as if wiping any dirt off them, the elf looks back to the northern door. After trying to listen for anything on the other side, he carefully checks to see if it may be trapped. If so he'll attempt to disarm. He then checks to see if its locked, if so, he'll attempt to pick.

Noticing his fellow companion attempting to play the flute, even tho he really wanted it. Brettnor laughs at his attempt. Being very disappointed at not getting the flute Brettnor speaks to Ryx "Oh well looks like no spoils for me", smirking to himself, "You had better play a decent tune by the end of this Elf"

Augustine tries to make sure that nothing is left behind, though he does not want to carry anything himself, for risk of being overburdened and clumsy. "If we don't end up using some of these flasks, we can still sell them, waste not, want not."
He is carrying 49.5 pound with a light upper limit of 50 pounds. I suppose he could carry a half a pound of something.

The joy of having dispatched the enemies is short live as more foolishness ensues. Ryxikor, the usually stealthy rogue decides to impress his new comrades with his musical skills. Not only he fails to properly play the flute, but he makes enough shrieking noise to be heard all the way back to Barrow’s Edge.
Odlin who is standing next to the door hear some movements outside. He hears the sound of something metallic being dropped on the ground as well as some whispers in goblin.
Brettnor for a second believes he can have the flute realizes that Ryxikor has no intention in sharing the musical instrument.
Augustine, trying to ignore the noise made by the party tries to decide what to take and what to leave.
Stadvas, after Ryxikor has found the northern door untrapped and unlocked stands in front of the open door. He stands in front of a natural cave. Cool and damp, the rocky interior seems to be covered in a glistening sheen. A few slimy puddle of water are on the floor. The room looks completely empty.
OOC: Imageshack is down so I will upload the map later. OOC2: No, do not worry about weight. You can take the stuff on the way out, assuming you stop bringing in more reinforcements through your noise making.

Stadvas looks at the door, then to Odlin, and, after casting a, to say the least, angered glance at the rogue, he moves towards the door, ready to resume fighting. Passing by Ryxikor, he whispers to him, "I said I'd use the next one to make noise as a shield..." in a tone that is certainly threatening.
Move to C4(why do I always wind up there?).

Brettnor calms down after hearing a metalic sound, with a slight cough he announces very quietly, "can you hear that, it sounds metalic" Wielding his mace and un hooking his shield, Brettnor prepares to meet this new threat

Ryx rolls his eyes after Stadvas walks pass, so that he can't see, then tucks one of the flasks of oil into his backpack. As he sees the others awaiting possible goblin reinforcements, Ryxikor can't imagine what cold have attracted them, while he pulls he rapier free from his scabbard. "Maybe we should move into the hallway, this room is too confining for a fight." Ryx says as he indicates the table and cooking pot.
if needed init: 1d20(9)+3=12 keeps his position, near the northern door.

The group realizes that trying to avoid making sounds such as screaming of playing the flute would go a long way in making their ennemies less aware of them and that would increase their chance of survival. After hearing the metalic sounds, Stadvas opens the door and slighty and notices that the hallway floor is covered in caldrops. He cannot see any ennemies but realizes that a trap has been set.
OOC: (from the SRD): Caltrops: A caltrop is a four-pronged iron spike crafted so that one prong faces up no matter how the caltrop comes to rest. You scatter caltrops on the ground in the hope that your enemies step on them or are at least forced to slow down to avoid them. Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops (or spends a round fighting while standing in such an area), it might step on one. The caltrops make an attack roll (base attack bonus +0) against the creature. For this attack, the creature’s shield, armor, and deflection bonuses do not count. If the creature is wearing shoes or other footwear, it gets a +2 armor bonus to AC. If the caltrops succeed on the attack, the creature has stepped on one. The caltrop deals 1 point of damage, and the creature’s speed is reduced by one-half because its foot is wounded. This movement penalty lasts for 24 hours, or until the creature is successfully treated with a DC 15 Heal check, or until it receives at least 1 point of magical curing. A charging or running creature must immediately stop if it steps on a caltrop. Any creature moving at half speed or slower can pick its way through a bed of caltrops with no trouble.

"The caltrops say we're staying in here." Stadvas replies bitterly to the rogue. He carefully closes the door and turns to the group to share his thoughts with the others. "Augustine and me can try to stand right outside the door and shoot any opponents with bows, or we can try to find an alternative way out. Or we get rid of the caltrops. Any other ideas?"

The dwarf stares in disbelief at the cunning trap placed outside. "They certainly have gone to every expense to defeat us! maybe i should be flattered? but i'm not keen on staying here so that they can get reinforcements or ..."
The wizard's voice trails off as he thinks of the dragon. Hunching over and beckoning his allies close so he needs only whisper. "We'll need to leave and carefully. what ranged weapons do we all have?"

"All I have are these knives." Ryxikor says as he pats some of the sheaths of his throwing daggers, obviously concentrating on the dwarf's question so he can ignore Stadvas. Pointing back to the last room, Ryx asks, "I wonder what that room was used for?. I wonder if there was a way out that we didn't see."

"I have got my bow and about... thirty arrows left. After that, I suppose we could throw pots and pans at them." Hearing Ryx's question, Augustine answers "Well, it could lead out of here. Can you check it?"
The western room looks like it lines up with the spider's room, is that the one you are talking about, puff?

Readying himself for what ever is going to happen Brettnor wispers to Odin " Can i just say, IM scared never done this before" Explaining more, "I used to be in solitude, this is unbelievable" To the rest of the group Brettnor wispers, "Pelor has his trust in us and will protect us" Deep inside his belief in this is only marginal. After hearing about the Caltraps Brettnor wishes he had shoes on

Odlin waits for the new elf to check out the other room, hoping against hope that another exit will get them out of this trouble. The self-doubt in his mind jars his reality with the thought that another way out could be another way in for their beseigers.
Screwing his eyes shut against the fear and madness, he returns to listening carefully at the door with Cheese in case an attack is coming.
The words from the cleric are a welcome distraction. "It's okay Brettnor. Living underground can be pretty scary but there's always clan and kin to guard against the darkness. Let's just stick together and we'll be okay." The wizard looks at the weasel a moment before returning his attention to the hallway outside
