"Umm...." wonders the dwarf. The new arrivals didn't sound like blood-thirsty goblins but they could still be enemies.
"You'd better stop!" commands the dwarf, hoping his voice carries authority
"What are you doing out here? Answer quick, there are a six of us ready to strike!"
errr bluff.... that's a charisma skill, right? and i'm... a dwarf.
DM Edit: Yeah but intimidate work .. in the darkness .. a deep dwarven voice .....

Stadvas nearly follows Odlin's example and joins the bluff, but then he realises they are, after all, standing a few feet from a door where something is making something with or in metal, and that that something definitely isn't a friend. So he turns to the dwarf and whispers, "Yelling is a probably bad idea. I detect a certain goblinoid presence in these halls." His voice carries, although it is partially masked by the whisper, a sarcastic note.
Or we all start knocking eachother's teeth out and the goblins finish us off.

Augustine keeps quiet and still, frequently glancing towards the locked door, nervous about the noise.
I actually haven't ever had a character die that I can think of, lets avoid the all dying bit.
Of course, now he is in for it, since I said that.

Suddenly the quiet tunnels are filled with yelling loud voice threatening each other. Odlin and Stadvas are trying to bluff Brettnor and Ryxikor into believing there are 6 of them. Augustine stays there silent, ready to unleash his deadly arrow. Brettnor is hoping to attract a lot of positive attention while Rixykor is incredibly silent. Before the two groups ends the stand-off or start attacking each other, noises come from the south corridor and goblins guards appear, alerted by the yelling our heroes did. The goblins are wearing leather armors, small wooden shields, morningstars and javelin. please roll initiative. For those new to my DMing style, during combat please enter the info as follow: HP: current/total (e.g. 12/24) AC: X (e.g. normal is Y but +1 bless and +4 mage armor) Spell: level left/total (e.g. 0 4/4, 1 4/6) If you forget to roll initiative, you roll an automatic 1 (makes my life easier) If you use invisible castle, put the result in the link name. If you move, try to indicate the ending square (e.g. E12) and the path is the most direct way can generate an AoO. Describe your action as colorful as possible in the text. Specify any special ability/rules below your post. During battle, I expect a post a day, starting from my post. If you cannot, I'll NPC your character and roll for him, her.

Stadvas recognises the javelins, and lets sigh as his optimism leaves him for a moment and he sees himself being turned into a needle cushion, but, reawakening his battle spirit, he grips his flail, draws it and rushes into battle after casting an 'I-told-you-so' glance at Odlin about the yelling and the arrival of the goblins. He puts his newly acquired armour to the test right away, rushing into battle with a growl and swinging his flail, using his brawn to a far greater extent than his brain in a sudden wave of over-confidence, perhaps inspired by the fact his warnings were right. The metal ball rises up into the air, then crashes down towards his foes. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1508466/ Initiative 12. HP: 21/21 AC: 17 Move action to M17... this is a bad idea, isn't it? Attack on G11. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1508470/ 19, using Power Attack 2. Fortune DOES favour the bold!

Hmm, a dwarf. Jukia mentioned a dwarf in the group. Ryx thinks to himself as he silently moves forward. The elf decides to try someway to see if this is the group they are looking for, out of the darkness he yells, "Six of you eh, dwarf. Jukia metioned there are only three of you in your little band. Hmm, I wouldn't put it past a dwarf to lie." He says with a cryptic smile, hoping this really is the group.
Suddenly, hearing the sounds of a skirmish, Ryxikor continues to move forward until he reaches the intersection, still holding his throwing dagger poised to let fly.

Odlin notices the danger and moves quickly to meet it hoping to take them down. He was scared but the memory of the hurt that befell Jukia drives him on as he looks for someone to hurt too.

He hears the goblins calling for a certain Bronk to come and help them. The first goblin swings its Morningstar but Stadvas new armor absorb chock. Odlin is not as lucky as the second goblin hit him hard, the Morningstar smashing deeply the dwarf body. The other two goblins position themselves behind the other two goblins. Ryxikor keeps his position, wondering who this Bronk might be, expecting him to be a captain of the guard or something. The lithe elf presses against the wall to give the cleric room to get by if needed, but otherwise he stands his ground and watches the backs of the others fighting.

Odlin struggles to hang on to his club with the pain racing through his body. His elation turns quickly to fear and panic.
Taking a wild swing at the goblin before him, he ducks behind the comforting hulk of Stadvas.
The wizard's mind flashes to the brave dwarves of his clan, fighting deep underground in their mountain halls while he hid and cowered.

Initiative: Stadvas, Odlin, Ryxikor, Goblins, Augustine, Brettnor Stadvas attacks the goblin facing him and with a mighty swing of his flail, decapitates the evil creature. Odlin swing again with the club but once again the goblin stops it with his shield. A series of insults follows that makes Ryxikor ears turn red. The dwarf realizes that hiding being the massive hulk of Stadvas is a good course of action. Ryxikor stays in his position, wondering what to make up of the current situation. A goblin replace the fallen one and the two facing Stadvas attack the warrior who has just fallen one of their own. The one that was previously facing Odlin succeed in finding a weakness in Stadvas new armor with its Morningstar and damages the body of the mighty warrior. The other one swings high and misses completely. Augustine shoots his arrow. Given the fact that his targets are involved in a fight with one of his comrades, he is twice as careful to avoid hitting one of his friends. The first arrow pierces the skull of the goblin who just hit Stadvas. It enters through the eye and the arrow head peaks out from the other side of the skull. The goblin falls loudly to the ground. His second arrow brushes the goblin’s head but misses its target. Brettnor continues to move yelling to may be bring in more reinforcements to the goblins. Stadvas: 4HP of damages – Currently 17/21

Moving to strike once again, Stadvas charges the near goblinoid fiend. Steellike, eerie sound and the cry " Let's get dangerous." flowed free under the roof of the hall while, trying to guard his friend by word, good warrior Stadvas cries at the rogue," The dwarf lied, but still be nice!"
Hooray for those that recgnized a feeble attempt at a Homeric hexameter. Also hooray for those who recognized the battlecry. Seriously now, here's my newest attack roll at G3. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1510900/ It's 7 and I again used Power Attack 2.
